Super friendly and fast checkin and checkout. Lovely room, very quiet with a very good king sized bed. There was live music in the bar and the neighbourhood has shopping and dining options a short walk away. The hotel is easily access and has good parking

Hotel was very clean and rooms are spacious. Restaraunt had a great choice and good vibe to it. Live musician while we were there playing a great choice of 80's-00's music to listen to while not being overly loud that you could not have a conversation. Bar staff were excellent, had a great laugh and chat with them both.

Very good Italian restaurant attached to this beautiful old hotel. Also lots of other great restaurants and coffee shops within a few minutes walk. In spite of the popularity of the attached Italian restaurant, there was still plenty of parking for hotel guests. Great place!

Lovely junior sweet, with traditional charm. Outside wall is a foot thick stone wall, and nicely done updates are a good match to that era, but modern. Bed and linen were confortable. Service was very good, but no staff on site past 5pm, though there is a number you can call if you need anything. It is an Inn, not a hotel, so do not expect a pool or gym. There is an Italian restaurant adjacent to the lobby, but we opted for the Keg steakhouse across the street the street. Not a cheap option, but I would definitely recommend.

Cleanliness was my major concern. Even after I made it known, and the hotel gave me a voucher and a bottle of wine as an apology, the garbage under the sink was still not emptied and the debris around the bed (from a previous guest) were still not cleaned. If obvious things have not been cleaned, what are the non obvious that one should worry about!!??

The property wasn't to bad, But the cleaning in the room was not up to standard as there was dust on all the pictures and tables, kitchen area had finger prints all over them. I myself as a owner operator for a janitorial company would not return to the Stone Mill in.

The room was beautiful and clean as soon as we walked in. Large enough frudge with Keurig for coffee or tea. Wine glasses and drinking glasses privided. Jacuzzi tub big and comfortable for 2. Bed comfotable.

The room was clean, spacious and very beautiful. Staff was friendly at check-in. I was a little worried about the limited check-in time while staff was on site but managed to get here in time. Property is located near a busy street so there was a bit of road noise and a police car drove by in the night with sirens blaring (nothing the hotel can change… just an observation). I would definitely stay again!

This is our go to place when we're in the area. Rooms are spacious and not congested like other hotels. The smell of the wood burning oven from the restaurant downstairs is very appealing. That my option because i like the smell of buring wood. The front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Clean & quiet room; good location, however, room is a bit too hot, ended up turning off the heat during most of our stay. We tried to have air movement in the room but could only have fan running wile set on heat and temperature set to 60F (hotel don’t have AC turn on / available in this season) room still heated up to 77F .. ended up just shutting it off and temperature eventually reached 72F .

Overall the hotel was lovely. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. My only issue is the lack of tech amenities. In 2025 it should be standard that hotels offer some form of usb charging system. Currently, you have to unplug other appliances and lights in order to have a socket close to the bed to charge your phone, watch, and iPad. Just provide it.

Room was cozy and well equipped. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. There were issues with the wifi during our stay which made it challenging for us as that was our only way to check in for flights, check traffic conditions, remote work, etc.

We stayed the first weekend of November, and our room thermostat was at 76 degrees. It was sweltering hot and the staff told us we couldn’t turn it down, because the hotel can only have just AC or just furnace. It was very uncomfortable for sleeping. I complained at the time, as even the use of a fan or something could have improved it, but they were very dismissive.

The hotel itself is nice. The room was very nice but the coffee maker didn’t work which was frustrating for my husband who needs his morning coffee. The worst part though was the constant noise level throughout the property and in our room. There’s too much going on in the lobby/restaurant area at all times and we could hear every footstep and chatter in the hallways and coming from outside. We won’t stay here again.

Very friendly staff, I had forgotten my phone charger and they provided me with one. I forgot my wine opener and they opened my wine very high ceilings in the room very nice and large while appointed room an excellent overall experience and a very fair price.

We enjoyed everything about this location expect the check in experience with the receptionist we encountered. We had questions regarding our bill as we are from the U.S and she seemed to have very low patience when asked to just explain it. So our check in started off on the wrong foot. This in no way reflects the building or amenities. Just sadly reflects the person behind the desk. I hope she has a better day so she can perform her customer service

During our visit we were awoken by the fire dept at 4:30am and had to evacuate the building for Carbon Monoxide detected in the building. After about 90 mins we were allowed back in but there never was any acknowledgment of the issue to us like what happened or apology or please come back again; nothing.

This is such a beautiful property. Great stone floors, beautiful rooms. Doesn't have a traditional front desk that is staffed all the time but they are great with communicating and someone is available to call if needed

The hotel is so welcoming. The rooms are beautiful and luxurious. We love staying at the Stone Mill Inn. Great location for restaurants and shopping and perfect location to get to Niagra Falls and Niagara-on-the-lake without staying in those busy areas.

The property itself was totally great. Clean, friendly staff, great service. The neighborhood-omg! While the hotel may be a boutique style, the neighborhood is a run down nightmare. Be aware that it is not a walking type destination with adorable shops and places for coffee. It’s more like laundromats and homeless folks in the adjacent neighborhoods. Nice hotel, god awful location.

The Stone Mill Inn is really well situated for touring the Niagara Escarpment and area. Our room was huge and really well appointed with kitchen area, sitting area and a comfortable king bed. We loved having the Italian restaurant in the same location. We loved all the amenities in the kitchen.

Bathroom sink plug did not hold. Could not get the shower to work. Dining room was not open for breakfast. Otherwise, a beautiful lobby, lovely room, clean hallways and pleasant staff. Accommodated our need for early check-in.
