Highly recommend staying here. Beautiful and peaceful stay and room 6 opened up to a quiet and somewhat secluded section of the wraparound deck which made for a relaxing place to sit after a day full of adventures. The food was amazing and prepared for us each morning by Lucille and Nancy and our gracious hosts took great care of us while we were there. You should check it out.

The only issue was the amount of mosquitoes in the area at the time we were visiting, which is not under the control of the lodge. Otherwise excellent facilities, and wonderful hosts. Due to an error on the expedia site, we were told that breakfast was provided when in fact this is not a service they provide, but they felt bad and provided us with freshly baked, warm, delicious strawberry scones that more than made up for the error.

10/10!!! As you roll up the driveway, you're greeted with an enclosure of mature trees and a stunning log home. The log home and accommodations on the property overlook the breathtaking backdrop of Moberly Mountain. The log home is spectacular, and the property provides peace and relaxation. The hot tub, robes and bonfire pit are excellent for guests. Lucille's hospitality blew away my husband and me during our stay. Lucille is by far the BEST host we have ever had. She makes you feel at home and even helped book tickets for our excursion. The cherry on top was the waffle board Lucille made us in the morning! We will never forget our incredible stay at Moberly Lodge.

We only stayed one night in the Columbia Cabin and we loved it and would love to come back again and would book for more than one night. Cabin was stocked well and very comfortable for our family of 4. The property is very private and easy to find driving from Golden. Soft linens and towels. Wished we had time to enjoy the fire pit but enjoyed the BBQ on our front deck, amazing views!

This was a last minute booking for us. We were traveling the canadian rockies and were in golden and this was the only place left. The staff is wonderful and the place is clean. Keep in mind there is no TV, no fridge, no microwave. But for those seeking the bed and breakfast experience you will love this place, it is beautiful.

Breakfast was a work of art! Blueberry French toast, sausage links and home made blueberry yogurt! The host was so welcoming and our room was very clean with plenty of extra fresh fluffy towels in the bathroom. Nice and quiet but easy access to the highway. Recommend!

Traumhafte Lage und tolles Design. Leider klappt einiges mit dem Service nicht richtig - bei 5 Sterne Preisen kriegt man eine tolle Location aber nicht ganz den 5 Sterne Service den man sich wünschen würde. Als wir ankamen war niemand vor Ort, auf eine email erhielten wir Feedback auf weitere aber dann nicht mehr. So hätten wir erfahren können dass das Frühstück 24h vorher gebucht werden muss- am Ende hat eine freundliche Angestellte eine Lösung angeboten aber man musste sie etwas bitten und angesichts der hohen Kosten hätte ich das anders erwartet. Was wir dann bekamen war auch dann morgens nicht ganz das was wir erwartet hatten und was ausgemacht war. Begründung: man kauft alles frisch ein. Der nächste Laden wäre 10 Mins Fahrt entfernt gewesen, finde ich bei einem Preis von >300 Euro die Nacht nicht vermessen. Die Hütten selber sind sehr schön gebaut, äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet (kein TV, keine Aircon, Wifi etwas Glückssache), sauber und bequem. Es ist sehr ruhig, man kommt gut runter. Wirklich Schade dass der Service nicht so war wie erhofft. Als wir auschecken wollten war niemand mehr da, wir sind dann einfach gefahren, die Rechnung wurde eingezogen. :-/

Stayed there with my friends for a photo trip and it was the best part. We stayed in the cabin so all had our own beds. That place had everything you could want for a nice Banff stay… maybe except a TV … we needed to watch our twilight saga … WiFi might also be a bit hard to get but not a dealbreaker at all… plus you would get off your phone anyways hahah
