The stay was amazing. We were there for 9 days, and the staff were just so accomodating. The inner courtyard was beautifully done with fruit trees, and pools. Poolside seating was comfortable and quiet with every opportunity for shade or sun throughout the day. The attached restaurant made great food in huge portions and the sangrias were splendid. The local fruit is just so good.

Hotel Boyeros was perfect for our one night in Liberia. Very clean. Fantastic staff. Wonderful breakfast. Very basic rooms. But wow the courtyard is an oasis from the noisy city around. Incredible pools, and a super fun slide.

Lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. Great food options right in front of the hotel. Liked the beans and rice at breakfast (it was hot the way I like it). Booked an amazing excursion to Nicaragua through the hotel (RoadrunnersPrivate Tours). Look for the sign at reception. This is a clean and simple hotel and about 15 minutes to the airport. I loved it and will be returning.

It’s a clean, fairly comfortable place to stay. Nice staff. The rooms are somewhat tired but perfectly adequate. It does have a very good large pool, which makes it a good place to hang out in Liberia.

Room definitely needed updating. In room safe would not lock. Lamps over beds had loose end electrical tape for repairing them. Bathroom needed a really good cleaning. Only gave you 2 bath towels no hand towels or wash cloths. On other side, close to shopping (can walk) and the interior courtyard was like an oasis - just beautiful.

This is not like it is presented in the photos on Expedia site. The room we were given was gross. There was black mold spreading in the bathroom and partially into the main room. The light in the room was covered with so much dirt and bug excrement that it barely lit the room. You could see black streaks going down the wall from where water or whatever had cleaned the wall. Between the ceiling and walls you could tell they have not been washed in decades. The curtains had all sorts of dirty and/ or gooey marks on them. This is the worst hotel room I have ever encountered. They took me to one of the upstairs rooms which a bit cleaner(a bit) but there was no light in the bathroom. They then offered a third room which was really no different. The floors and beds looked clean until you looked close. Under the bed was dirt that had been in place for a long time and the bed covers had stains. I did not stay. There was a whole air of neglect. Maybe the breakfast was good, couldn’t say. Be CAUTIOUS this is not as advertised and they don’t give refunds unless is three days before you get there. I was booked for four days so that is a good amount lost.

Room was basic with firm beds and 1 folding chair. Clean with good A/C and hot water. Patio has a couple chairs looking at the nice courtyard/pool area. Breakfast was a buffet of a couple kinds of eggs, rice/beans, fruit starting at 6:30. Parking was secured, though looked completely full in the morning. Parrallel parking on the skinny path around the hotel.

The staff does not speak much if any English. Although we booked and paid for a third person we only received two towels total. When I requested another using Spanish they kept sending me to other people who then sent me back to the first person. We never received a third towel. You only receive a bath towel and no hand towel for the sink also.

I had booked a night at the hotel the night prior to flying out if LIR. Due to illness, my trip had to be postponed for 3 days. I then tried to change my reservation from the original time to the night before the changed flight. I went through Expedia because the hotel directed me too. Hotel Boyeros refused to change the reservation, or refund the money. We essentially threw away $100. As I wasn’t canceling, but changing, and gave them several days notice, I don’t understand their response

The pool is great! Lots of available chairs and trees for shade. The rooms were very clean. Small upgrades to the door frames would be good. There is a gap in both the balcony and entry door. Just makes it more work for the AC to keep up at night. Very minor! The staff were great. The only problem we had was we checked out at 430 am left the keys and remotes in the room as the front desk was closed. We didn’t know we were supposed to give it to the security guard! They had a cab waiting to take us to the airport promptly as well. Great place to stay for the last two days of our long holiday!

Lovely place in the heart of the Liberia crossroads. Exceptionally safe, gated, guards. Nice restaurant and an amazing breakfast buffet with the best eggs I think I’ve ever had. Gallo pinto and plantains also tasty. Really great location, nice pool and spa. Will definitely stay there again

This cute and well-kept hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Liberia airport. We stayed here the night before our 8am flight back to Canada and were thrilled with how quickly we were able to eat (6am breakkie buffet) and depart (thanks to parking just outside the back door of our room) for the airport. Most rental return depots seemed to be situated along the highway between the hotel and airport, with shuttles going to/from every few minutes. And on top of all that, Hotel Boyeros is located only 4-5 blocks from the downtown area which we walked to take in some shopping and dining. We felt safe and were pleasantly surprised at the relaxed and welcoming reception we had from the shop owners. We'd definately recommend staying here (and checking out the urban side of CR) while in Liberia.

While the hotel room was adequate for one night And we appreciated the pool and morning breakfast opportunities, the area is extremely sketchy, the razor wire along the fence around the property and the Darkness was off-putting. I am from a large city so when I see something like that it puts me on alert

The pool was amazing and they have the best tasting typical breakfast I've tasted in Costa Rica. It was in fact atypical as there were many added flavors in the rice and beans. We got to see animals from our porch. We thought it would just be a cheap place to stay after arriving on a late flight, but its a destination in itself!

The hotel is good for the price, it has a very convenient location, good breakfast, great customer services. I stayed there pretty much to attend an activity in Liberia so is good to have a goon night sleep and convenient to walk to restaurants and groceries. I won’t recommend the restaurant in the hotel.

Easy check in and staff mostly spoke broken English which was helpful. Breakfast daily was good. It's definitely an older hotel and conference center, but gives you Costa Rican vibes. Easy walking to restaurants, the park and museum.
