The location of this property was within walking distance of most things I wanted to see. The restaurant and bar in the hotel were mostly empty in the evenings. I ate at the bar 1 time - food was ok and the drink was basic but good. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The most important thing I want to highlight is the parking garage entrance is right next to the front door - it was easy to find and access. Lots of spaces, clean and an attendant on duty every time I went to my car. My car stayed parked until I was ready to leave Porto.

Beautiful hotel with great lobby and great room Only problem is it is 15 minute walk to most attractions and not many restaurants nearby and the gym is outdoors and very limited equipment If you need a gym don’t stay here

Excellent hotel location if you rather not be super downtown. The hotel is in good condition and provides the necessary services. I look for a good location, clean comfy bed, and some basic necessities. I was bummed it didn’t have an indoor gym.

Very clean hotel & room. Great location - provided you don’t mind walking down to the touristy areas by the water. Easy access to transit. Breakfast was excellent. Easy luggage storage if needed. Would come back and definitely reccomend.

El Eurostars Heroismo es un hotel completamente nuevo, amplio, lujoso y muy limpio. Se ubica algo lejos del casco antiguo de Oporto, pero es una ubicación conveniente para viajeros que van en coche puesto que el parking es de muy fácil acceso entrando a la ciudad, y es amplio, en el sótano del hotel. Hay una parada de metro en la puerta del hotel que lleva al centro en pocos minutos. El estado de limpieza nos pareció excepcional y todo parecía recién estrenado. Las habitaciones nos parecieron grandes y muy cómodas. Como puntos de mejora: nos pareció que en el desayuno buffet no había productos tradicionales (¡la mayoría de hoteles en Portugal tienen pastel de nata!), pero es un detalle que no nos impidió disfrutar de una excelente estancia. Muy recomendable.

The property was very clean in the lobby & hallways. The daily cleaning was not so much. Each day house keeping left items in our room untouched that should have been cleaned. The front desk had one particular employee who worked the evening shift that was very nasty & unwelcoming. She was the pit of our stay at the hotel. The hotel rooms also could make better use of the space.

Just across the road from the Heroismo subway stop. Friendly staff, helpful reception. My room was of a good size and the bed was comfortable. There is a frosted glass between the shower and bedroom, and if you are traveling with someone and one needs to use the bathroom at night, I may be a disturbance. From the hotel into the city center it will take you about 15-20 minutes to walk, but you can also use the subway. Breakfast was €15, and worth the price.

My friend and I each booked a room for 4 nights in this hotel. There was loud music from the bar opposite of the street. We could hear music from our room until 1 am in the morning. My friend, room unfortunately had a weak AC unit. They were feeling super warm on all the nights. They tried to get the hotel stuff situation but unfortunately no improvement could be seen.

We arrived in Porto by train, at the Tourist Information office @ the Train Station, she told us it's very easy to walk to the hotel. It would've been easy if we didn't have our luggage or as my husband was having back problem. Anyway, by the time we finally arrived at the hotel, we were exhausted. But the staff quickly checked us in, very efficient. The room seemed to be very pleasant. If I had anything negative to say about the hotel, it would be you can't open the window fully, and they give you only a small box of Kleenex (probably consists of 3 pieces of Kleenex), although there're plenty of toilet paper. All and all it was a very pleasant stay.

Amazing!!! The room is amazing, very comfortable, great shower, super clean. The quality of the bed and sheets were perfect and impeccable air conditioner. I stayed in the deluxe bedroom with a lovely terrace. Everything was perfect and the staff super nice. I'll definitely stay here whenever I come back to Porto.

The staff made us feel welcome and at home since the first second we walked in. This is perhaps one of the best experiences we've had in a very long time. We were celebrating a birthday, and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a beautiful birthday note. The location is absolutely great. Within walking distance to the Metro station, and a bunch of local places to eat and enjoy without getting sucked into tourist traps. We'd come back here without a doubt.

The hotel is clean, staff is nice, the double bed is gigantic—but the best part is still the location. 10 minutes from the train station, 15 minutes to the opposite direction is Bolhão with all its bars and restaurants, and the subway is literally just across the street.

I have 0 complaints about the hotel itself however it’s far from porto city centre. You can take the transportation across the street but it’s not the nicest / safest area if you’re travelling alone. We took an uber - although it’s a 20 minute walk to the city centre , it’s a lot of up and down hills which makes it longer.

A nice hotel. There is plentiful parking, and it is within walking distance of the historic district. It is not, I would say, in the best area. And I'm not sure if I would want to be walking about at night. But the property was very nice.

Great location - Heroismo station literally a minute to the right oppsite the Hotel.Modern hotel with good facilities and helpful attentive staff, lovely comfortable room, great stay.Good local bars and restaurants. My first time in Porto and i am in awe, such a beautiful city but despite the weather i still managed to see many sights and visit 4 cellars and sample the famous Port ( including a visit to The Douro valley).Looking foward to returning to Porto in the near future - with nicer weather and have no hesitation in staying at the Timbre Heroísmo again. MUITO OBRIGADO.

The room was nice and clean. The staff as expected, nice. Location ok: close to the metro, 15 min from downtown Porto, by foot. The breakfast however, was not any special at all: the scrambled egg (no salt), the sausage, some veggies, some sweet pastries, decent coffee. However, €17 is stretching it too much.

It was a excellent stay. The hotel is close enough to the center of Porto so as to make it accessible by public transit. It has a daily breakfast buffet and bar/restaurant. My room was big and confortable.
