This facility was great, however it was somewhat far from the main square. It was new and very modern. No noise from the road and they have AC! The area was somewhat dodgy though. Stay out of the park next door. There is parking nearby but incredibly expensive. 30 Euro per day, make sure to calculate that into your stay.

Check-in is at 3pm sharp and there was a queue of guests waiting to use the check-in system but it did not work! We had to walk across the road to the main Kings hotel and check-in there. We were right above the noisy pedestrians and the trams. Our room was clean, with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The rainfall shower head was very annoying though because you cannot avoid getting your hair wet each time you have a shower. The handheld shower head did not work. Every room has a kitchenette but unless you pay an extra €20 PER DAY it remains behind a locked door. The room had a bar fridge, coffee machine, pods and tea bags but no kettle. In the basement there is a vending machine as well as a washing machine and a clothes dryer. You need to download an app and pay via a credit/debit card in order to use the machines but at €3.50 for the washer and €2.50 for the dryer it is worth it. Your room will be cleaned every day, or you can leave a provided gift bag hanging on your door in lieu of cleaning. You will get a €10 voucher in the bag as a thank you. We saved our vouchers and had one breakfast in the main hotel across the road. Munich itself is a lovely city. The hotel is within 20 minutes walking distance to the Old Town. Despite its close proximity to the station we would not return to this hotel, and would recommend a safer location, perhaps on the river side of Old Town.

Comfy bed, huge bathroom, clean & close to the main train station - what more could you want! A mile walk to Oktoberfest in one direction & a few minutes from old town in the other. We opted out of room cleaning & got a voucher which we used towards breakfast at the sister hotel which is opposite. 19 euros each & much better value than the cafe downstairs! Be aware if booking the king suite, there is an extra cost to access the kitchenette - it is not included!

The self checkin location doors did not open. Once it did, the kiosk was easy. Parking was discontinued due to construction. You have find your own parking. The room was great.

The room was phenomenal, charming, and unique in layout. Everything was super clean and sparkling. The coffee shop downstairs, California Bean, had very friendly baristas, plenty of food options, and deliciously made breakfasts. There were plenty of storage and space. The views from the top were incredible. The only thing that would have been helpful was if the vending machine had laundry detergent. I downloaded the app to use the washing machine and dryer but didn't get to use them. Another thing that came to mind was to have the option of using the $10 voucher for no housekeeping at the coffee shop instead of at the King's Hotel. Other than that, it was a pleasurable experience.

Property was organized and convenient. All amenities were provided and everything worked as expected. I only did not like that there is no staff on site. We had no issues so it was okay. ONly problem is our train was late in the day, so after check out, we had to keep our bags in a locker in the station. If there was a staff at the hotel, we could've left it there .

The property was an easy walk to the train & bus station. A tram stop is less than a block away. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was great except two things: first, we booked the hotel bc we wanted to be close to the train station (we had an afternoon train scheduled) & we read on Expedia that the hotel offered luggage storage. However, there is no front desk at this property so there is no way to store luggage (despite advertising such) so we had to end up carrying our luggage while sightseeing around town. Second, we stayed in a triple room & the double bed was in an alcove that was so small that the sides of the bed touched the walls so we had to crawl up to the top of the bed from the bottom of the bed & the alcove had no light. Triple room may not be appropriate for elderly or those who can’t maneuver well.

We had to set up the extra bed ourselves, and even basic requests like toilet paper or bedding had to be submitted via an email link. If you’re not comfortable with technology, I would not recommend this hotel. The only thing I like is there is a small and good restaurant beside the hotel for breakfast and lunch.

Mein Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Ideal ist die Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof. Das Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Grösse und war sehr gemütlich. Grosses, schönes Badzimmer. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber. Sehr praktisch sind die Mikrowelle und der Kühlschrank. Auch eine Kaffeemaschine hätte es gehabt. Leider war diese aber in einem nicht sehr appetitlichen Zustand (verschmutzt, verkalkt). Ich habe diese Beanstandung zum Glück bereits beim Chef platzieren können und ich hoffe, dass der nachfolgende Gast eine saubere Kaffeemaschine vorfand. Ansonsten war alles super. Das self check-in/check-out hat ebenfalls ohne Probleme funktioniert. Ich werde AdvaStay bei einer weiteren Reise sicher berücksichtigen.

La chambre 102, au RDC sur cour est très sombre, c’est assez décevant. Les autres chambres sont certainement mieux. Traces de chaussures au sol devant la salle d’eau, cheveux dans la douche, traces de rouille au sol sous la poubelle en métal. Nous avions une chambre adaptée PMR, je doute qu’elle le soit réellement pour un fauteuil au vu de l’espace entre le lit et les murs/meubles, pour les handicaps légers, cela fera l’affaire. Problème à l’enregistrement, la tablette permettant le Check in étant en panne, il a fallu appeler la réception de l’hôtel deux fois de suite, avec des personnes qui se déplacent et repartent sans attendre de voir si le problème est résolu. Sinon, la décoration de la chambre et de l’hôtel en général est soignée et les prestations de l’hôtel sont correctes. La literie est confortable.

The location of the property is very good and in easy walking distance to the bus and train station as well as the old town center. The main downside i would say is the inconsistency in daily cleaning and restocking of supplies. Otherwise decent place in Munich.

We had a great stay here. Check in was easy. This hotel was in a central location. The room was large & very clean. When I had problem with figuring out how to work the washer/dryer the lady who ran the housekeeping was so helpful.

Liked the location ie proximity to station and transport links . Area itself is run down and scruffy . Appreciated the location of California Bean to the property . Rooms very clean and tidy , bathroom well appointed though I couldn’t get the hair dryer to work . No noise from fellow guests and street noise bearable . My husband didn’t like total non connection to other human beings !

Super Clean quiet, great location close to the train station. I could walk to old town easily and safely. This is a self check in hotel so there’s no one to ask questions. But it was a great value and all I needed.

It is a clean and cosy room, bed & shower are fine and is about 20min walk to the old town and 5min walk to main train station/trams. Every 20min or so, day and night, there was tram passing by which noise was not too bad but still something you could hear. The air conditioner also could be heard all the time and there is no off button. Also the option to switch it to warm mode was disabled for some reason so when the night was a bit chilly, I couldn't set it warmer. Even though not a big deal as not too cold anyway. I actually like that there was no manned reception. I could hear the next room on the last night. Other side of the street there is their other hotel which you can choose to have breakfast, at 19euros, IMO, it didn't worth it. There were not many Bavarian options (just a few). more of American style very simple breakfast buffet with typical options but nothing exciting. The most exciting was white sausages and pretzels of course. They give you the option to choose no cleaning and instead, a 10 euros voucher to spend on breakfast which I think was good.

The room was on the street on the 1st floor with the tram passing by and bars on the other side of the street. It was always really loud. One window seemed to be damaged as noise came through more than through the others, it was almost as if the window was open.
The room was on the street on the 1st floor with the tram passing by and bars on the other side of the street. It was always really loud. One window seemed to be damaged as noise came through more than through the others, it was almost as if the window was open.

I selected a family room with 2 queen sized beds and it was great. So often traveling with 2 adults and 1 teen ager is challenging with space. Location was also great. Only a 5 minute walk from the central train station enabling easy access to anything in Munich. Internet was also fast and speedy, but had a problem with VPN connectivity back to the office. It just wouldn't work, but tethering to my travel sim worked fine. Not sure what the issue was, but the hotel was unable to help resolve. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

The location is great at only 4 minutes away from the train station! It is a nice place with air conditioning. Check in is easy. Our only complaint is the A/C does not effectively cool the room off. We were comfortable in the room but sweating at night, no matter how low we turned it down to.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient to get around as it was a quick walk to the central train station and close enough to the old town to walk as well. We knew what to expect as far as self check in and limited cleaning. The room layout was great and enough space for two. We had a hiccup with our safe not opening the morning of our departure (with our passports inside) and maintenance had the issue resolved in under a half an hour. Amazing service! I would happily stay again:)

This hotel has no lobby and no one on site to check you in. Despite receiving an email earlier in the day with an access code, the self-service check in did not let us check in. We had to walk across the street to a different hotel to get checked in. On the bright side, the rooms were clean and comfortable. We would probably stay here again.

Hotel has no reception it’s based across the road but this didnt affect anything. Checking was easy. Hotel very clean and tidy. Close to train station walkable to main square in ten minutes. Spacious room. Loved the chocolates on St Nicholas day. Also love the 10 euro voucher if cleaner doesnt need to come into room.

Bleiben hier im Nov 2024. It was safe even though there is no rezeption counter. It is located in the safer part of Munchen Hbf. Can’t say the same for the other areas. The room is sauber and high technologie except that the kaffee machine was kaputt. I requested a kettle via WhatsApp and they were very schnell in their response and left it in our zimmer quickly. We will certainly be back when we are in Munchen dieses jahre in 2025.

What didn't we like? The check in! Appalling use of technology when humans can do it so much better. First the world has the ALDI business model whereby a retail ( service?) business provides no service and forces customers to basically serve themselves. Then we get no service " restaurants" that con people into ordering via tablets etc. And now we have a hotel that provides no human contact and the check in is via computer. So people are sitting around a check in area waiting for the computer to tel ' em their room is ready. The upside is that there are 2 lovely helpful ladies in their other hotel who fix it all. Very efficient, helpful, friendly . Progress? Don't think so! Upside is room is quit nice, very clean, well equiped and great location. Lots of great German public transport on the door step. Parking is easy and located 30 meters from thd door. After initial frustrating experience, happy wigh the hotel.

The hotel itself wasn't terrible, but the location was not ideal. This place isn't close to any restaurants or shopping areas, and it's incredibly sketchy for women. I ended up going back to my room before sunset every day because I was so sketched out. I had an early flight and got catcalled and yelled at by a few homeless people on my way to the train station.

On our second day of going to the breakfast buffet offered by this facility for almost 20 euros, the main supervisor of that area was accusing us of not having paid the day before for the breakfast.We had to get the front desk personnel involved to clarify this incident that left a bitter taste. We will not come back to Adva Stay or Kings Hotel again. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Plenty of options in Munich

Comfy bed, huge bathroom, clean & close to the main train station - what more could you want! A mile walk to Oktoberfest in one direction & a few minutes from old town in the other. We opted out of room cleaning & got a voucher which we used towards breakfast at the sister hotel which is opposite. 19 euros each & much better value than the cafe downstairs! Be aware if booking the king suite, there is an extra cost to access the kitchenette - it is not included!

You have to go across the street to the main hotel for any type of help. They were very helpful they advertise luggage storage which they were able to accommodate upon arrival utilizing lockers at the host hotel. I was told I would receive an email 72 hours prior to arrival about checking in which I did not receive Hotels.com did speak with the hotel and I received the email 12 hours before check-in, it also stated I should store my luggage at the train station. Since no one man’s a desk in this hotel lobby, it misses a personal touch like figuring out the shower and how to get the room below 16°C. The facility is well-maintained and clean and the effort by the hotel shows while it is fresh, smelling, it doesn’t have the overwhelming odor of chemicals and carpet freshener. Rooms were exceptionally clean daily. it was safe it’s only a few minutes walk from the main train station. The buffet is across the street and €17. I miss the coffee and tea and variety of snacks available in the lobby like the other two facilities. There is a Coke machine in the basement. But cheaper snacks were found in the train station. Yes, the area is safe. Yes I would stay here again.

As people who like to get out and about early and often, the location was perfect. A few minutes to the Hauptbahnhof, coupled with the Munich transit app, meant we were exploring as soon as we were out the door. California Bean, next door, was also a welcome start of coffee and breakfast.

Rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable beds and bedding, GREAT location, breakfast spot directly beside was amazing (always a huge line up to get in but we got there just in time through a door that was attached to the breakfast place) Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone staying in Munich! This hotel was interesting in the fact that they use a self check in system. I was a little worried about no front desk, but it was super easy and convenient ! It is a 5 min easy walk to the train station. It was a such a great basic place to stay we returned to the same hotel later in our trip to take a morning train to Italy. Great location to see city.

Good hotel. There is no staff, it is completely automated from check in to check out. Ask for courtyard view room to avoid street traffic noise. Rooms are good. Across the street there is another King’s hotel where there is staff. If needed their staff can help.
