Newer flooring. Updated bathroom, tub, and sink. Furniture new. Working frig and microwave. Nice tv though a little small. Disapointed the sauna and fitness room was closed.

Great location with really nice, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. They are remodeling so the workout room and sauna were closed, along with the 2nd floor.

Quick and easy check-in. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Had an exercise room we did not use. We didn't eat breakfast there but looked in and grabbed coffee. Offerings were oatmeal packets, packaged pastries, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches to warm up and a few other things in the fridge. No complaints about our stay.

Cute building, old, tired and in need or a make over. We had to change rooms due to a broken a/c. Upon check in we waited about 15 minutes for the only visible staff member to help us. She was doing check in and answering the phone . The side doors are manually locked at10 pm. So anyone can just walk in and wander around, one of the safety issues I am concerned about. The fiberglass tub unit is very slippery and the grab bar is incorrectly installed on the end of the tub next to the toilet. This made it very uncomfortable to use. The hot water carafe was damaged and made it difficult to safely have a morning cup of tea! The location was nice and I feel that the ownership of the property has neglected it for a number of years.

The side entrance was not secure; the door didn't even close. Anyone could just walk in there! The bed in the room was very tilted and very uncomfortable. Otherwise, the room was very spacious.

Hallway was dark, many sconces were unlit (more than half). Weird. Side access door was unlocked, key card reader was broken. Door is locked at 9 pm, but still...very insecure. Ice machine is barely functional (stress on barely). Was put into a handicapped access room without explanation. Later found out that their other king bed rooms were occupied. Continental breakfast was ok, at best. Eating area is small & basic. On the plus side, room was very clean.

We were unable to get into our room until after 4 pm. The staff could not even provide a time that our room would be ready. We had to keep checking. I recently had knee surgery and our room was on 2nd floor with no elevator

Stayed here many times over the years. It is still a good bargain. Clean rooms. No bad smells. No bugs. Internet is sketchy and slow. Breakfast is sub standard but atleast they have coffee. Will stay here again

Stayed for 3 nights, toilet ran every 4.5 min.24hrs a day! Beds were hard as rock, pillows not much better. Place was clean, nice wood floors, good coffee at breakfast. Towels in room were rough and no place to hang them at all! Enjoyed the free continental breakfast, and loved the microwave and fridge in the room! If the beds and pillows were more comfortable, it would have been a much more pleasant stay. I had a very rough time sleeping

Another great stay at the Mountain Host in Iron Mountain. Room was fresh and clean. Breakfast included croissant sandwich which was appreciated. Look forward to staying again in the future.

Sorry I didn’t get the desk clerks name, but she was great! I am unable to climb stairs. We were assigned a second floor room and she was able to rearrange so we had a first floor room. I look forward to staying at the Mountain Host again.

Clean,friendly staff and is in the middle of everything. You dont have to drive or walk far for a store ,gas station or dining. I would definetaly stay again and turn friends and family on to it. Great place!!!

Very limited breakfast offerings. Located on a main road through town and could easily hear traffic through the night. Desk person didn’t know how to generate a receipt. Otherwise, fairly clean and moderately aged furnishings in the room and lobby.

I'm honestly a little disappointed. The curtains are definitely not blackout. I had no pillowcase and there was hair in my bed along with some spots. My shower was so loud and squeaky I couldn't even finish. And the advertisement of the breakfast is so disappointing. I know it says on the go but don't show pictures of a waffle maker then. Ice machine was broken. And that definitely was not a 32-in TV come on.
