Stop-over on the way to Montreal. Very clean room and bath. Wendell Clarke’s Bar & Grill adjacent to building very handy with good food, a definite plus!

The indoor pool was not heated and was freezing. I had booked this hotel specifically because of the pool but it was unbearable.

It was an enjoyable stay. I got to use the exercise room and the pool.

Booked this hotel based off pictures. I was down visiting my friend, and we just wanted a nice quiet get away, to be able to swim. The hotel was nice, staff were nice but the pool.. was not. It wasnt clean. Usually when you walk into a pool room in a hotel, you smell the chlorine, but you couldn't with this pool. You could see what looked like green alge on the bottom of the deep end. Needless to say, we didn’t swim, and actually paid to go to a community pool so that we could.

Good enough for a night or two. Pool is the coldest pool ive ever attempted to enter. Kids didnt enjoy ut at all.

The room was fine! The pool was so cold we were disappointed because we chose a hotel with pool for our kids!

The breakfast menu was good but the sausages, cheese omelets were all very cold. The coffee was very bland. The pool has chunks of hair floating at the bottom.

Nice stay here. Went to a concert and we were able to walk there. Good food at Wendel Clark’s restaurant. All good.

Everything was great. Underground parking a real bonus.

Room was very tidy, lots of pillows, hotel general areas and halls were very clean staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast that we had on our second day was delicious

Common areas need to step up on cleanliness

The room smelled musky and it was dirty. I think they didn’t clean the shower as it was full of hair. The walls and carpet was also dirty. Overall it’s a low quality hotel. Don’t expect too much.

Entered from underground parking, was dark and dirty, no clear visible sign for elevators to motel. Coffee maker in room did not work, TV was not working properly, went to lobby for free coffee, coffee was empty and hot water for tea was empty. Coffee area was messy and stained. Overall did not feel clean.

Very nice hotel! Clean, bright, accessible. Rooms were quite large.

The stay was fine. Unfortunately we had rooms that were adjacent to a bar that had loud music each night. Also I didn’t know that digs were permitted and we had a real morning barker on our floor. The cleaning staff were very efficient, quiet, and did a great job. This is one of the few times I left a tip for housekeeping..outstanding.

The staff was very courteous and helpful on arrival. Our room was large and comfortable, clean. Nice shower.

Hotel still feels like it's newly built. It's clean with good amenities and easy underground parking you can access from the hotel. I was expecting the rooms to be small, but they were large and spacious. Highly recommend.

The AC unit rattled pretty loud, the outside noise was a bit loud but the rooms and parking were great

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The space was very clean loved the space in the wheelchair accessible room. The only critique is - why does not the facility of the room not have USB plugs to charge your mobile? We got by sure. But a basic infrastructure missing in the electricals in relatively new building....its big oversight and EASY to fix.

Awoken by noise from guest in hallway, rooms not well insulated for noise from hallways & adjacent. Noice from garbage truck woke up up rather early on a holiday monday

Unfriendly staff

Hotel was great staff were super friendly and helpful. It was clean and they had a good amount of options for breakfast. Check-in did not go smooth.

The room, breakfast and gym were decent overall. Staff: The staff was welcoming at the reception area. However, improvement is needed in how they handle and manage incidents that occur at the hotel, as I did not have a great experience. Staff should have further training in learning techniques on how to speak in a calm and respectful manner, to worried customers who lost important belongings. In case of emergencies, a manager or assistant manager at the very least should have access to rooms that could carry sensitive items that belong to customers. Some of us travel from all over the world and book flights as well, especially on long weekends: Telling a customer to come back the next day to verify if their personal card identifications is there because no manager/assistant manager is present on site, is NOT acceptable. Flights are expensive and you cannot assume everyone can afford seating around waiting on your hotel staff to come back to work the following day. Shops nearby: Unfortunately, the area where the hotel is located doesn’t have much activity and doesn’t feel very welcoming, perhaps due to increased homelessness and suspected drug consumption in the surroundings. I would recommend having a vehicle to circulate around.

We've stayed here several times and the staff is always kind and friendly and helpful, doesnt matter who, all around excellent care and service. We look forward to coming as it feels like home, consistent and warm. Great amenities and clean building

Great staff

Check in was confusing. I was told they didnt have a handicap room. I dont need not did i ask for a handicap room. They said they tried to call me. I was flying from Alberta at the time??? Then they said i was too early to check in and they would charge me. After I complained they then said my room was ready , no extra charge.

The property is warm and friendly. The staff especially those in the kitchen and reception were really friendly and easy to talk to. The receptionist who checked me out happens to the most friendly, warm and enchanting person I have spoken to in my many years of lodging in hotels.

The customer service was fantastic. We got in super late and we were welcomed promptly with a positive attitude. Very accommodating.

The desk clerk was very helpful and was able to answer any questions I had.

The inside and outside of hotel were well kept. The neighborhood the hotel is built on is terrible. I seen sketchy people walking around and people sitting around. The neighborhood has poor individuals. Some probably on drugs. I do although recommend this hotel. If you stay within the hotel it is a good hotel to stay in. Just don’t go walking around the neighborhood. I give the overall experience an 3 out of 5 stars.

The hotel is located within walking distance to shops, restaurant and entertainment. There are bus stops available and it has a nice and safe parking lot. The staff are frendy and always ready to assist you.

Convenient location in Downtown Oshawa.

Area around hotel was rough, hotel itself was good.

Free breakfast was very good. Convenient location in Oshawa, close to some nice coffee shops and to Parkwood historic site. Would stay again.

Hotel was clean staff was helpful but the location is not safe There is lots of homeless in the neighborhood and 2 came in on the breakfast area and started to steal food Unfortunately I would no stay here again due to the area

Hotel was great! Breakfast was actually decent. Rooms were clean. The hotel is downtown and definitely not in a good neighborhood. At least they had underground parking which made me feel better.

The location is not in the best part of the city. Many homeless in the area.

The breakfast was great, no need to find coffee shop or outside restaurant first thing in the morning. Rooms were clean and beds/pillows very comfortable. Did not have time to check out the pool or fitness area unfortunately.

Overall it was an excellent stay, with superb breakfast experience!

Very welcoming, and clean entrance. Employees at desk were prompt to give us a new key card when i forgot mine. Breakfast was fantastic, with healthy options as well as some bacon / sausage, which is always nice to have. Coffee was good. Rooms were nice and big with good water pressure.
