My boyfriend and i had a enjoyable, relaxing and fun time at this hotel. Loved the room with the modern renovations. Very comfortable sleep. Hot water in shower. Saltwater pool was great to swim in. Good workout at gym. Front reception were professional. Friendly and knowledgable. Loved the outdoor patio with fireplaces. Bar and restaurant were nice. Would definitely stay again. Room with double queen had lots of space. Impressed with the kitchenette which included dishes, cookware, colander you name it. Even had a small dishwasher! Found everything clean and property inviting. The breakfast had a decent selection. Pretty standard assortment with the star a self-service waffle maker. The thing to keep in mind is that the location is a small distance from other restaurants. Location is right off the highway, but if you're tired and don't want to bother going out, there is an onsite restaurant.

Spacious and nice room, quiet. Friendly staff, nice swimming pool and fitness area. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. Basic breakfast with adequate selections.. Negatives - The floor in our room was not a clean. Crumbs on the floor next to the dining table. Still using plastic forks and knifes in breakfast room but were using disposable bowls and plates.

Pros: This hotel was in perfect proximity to a skating competition we were registered to participate in, only five minutes away by car. Getting back and forth was extremely easy, even in snow storm conditions (there is a large hill en route, for which I was glad to have my snow tires) and there was never a problem finding a parking spot. We were comfortable during our stay on very good beds and in a room with enough space for two. We enjoyed the free breakfast, along with a very good on-site dinner option (an excellent burger for me). Cons: Our bathroom door was a "barn" style door, and when you opened it it got stuck on the floor, which made it noisy and cumbersome to use. This was annoying but not a deal breaker. The main issue we had was with noise at night. We could hear thumping, chair scraping, footfalls, what sounded like water pouring, and murmuring voices in what seemed to be the room above us until as late as 3:00 a.m. The room doors also tend to slam. This made sleep spotty, a concern for both the person competing and the person in charge of driving us five hours to get back home. When I told the front desk person about the noise, she said she would have an engineer inspect the room; however, I pointed out that there are other reviews online talking about the same issue and I highly doubt they all stayed in the same room. I think the soundproofing issue is likely throughout the hotel. We will request an upper floor room if we stay at this location in future.

It is best to get a room that doesn't face the outdoor patio and barbeque area. Late night partying went on with loud music and shouting, until after 3 a.m. Perhaps management should enforce closing time of 11 p.m.

Guaranteed 3pm check-in is NOT TRUE. Arrived at 520pm and only one of my two rooms was ready. Check-in staff were absolutely no help, finally got 2 rooms after 6:40pm… therefore late for Wedding rehearsal. All they would say was “oh I’m sorry” and “you booked with Expedia so we cannot give you a discount, despite OUR 3pm guaranteed check in being untrue and not getting checked in until 3 and a half hours after said time!” So very disappointed with Marriott, and the entire staff.

When we checked in at 3:10 pm the room we had reserved had been given away.? Staff tried to place us in a Studio suite instead of the One bedroom suite we had reserved. We eventually received a Suite but the extra pillows and blankets we requested never arrived.

The 8 day stay was great, just the breakfast options did not change. Wish there was more fresh fruit, the juice depenser was broke and I was hoping for bacon and potatoes, regular toast. One of the breakfast ladies was not friendly. Other than that, we will be back again next year.

Great amenities, cleanless and staff. The only thing that kept us from giving the hotel a 5-star review was the breakfast buffet with limited options. A vegetable quiche (which most kids would not eat, instead of eggs) and dried saussage patties were the two main options. Great bed and swiming pool!
