Located close to landmarks, a short 10min walk to Parliament House or 25mins to the National Gallery of Australia. Friendly and helpful staff, small but very clean / sleek rooms. Beautiful lounge on L5 and L6 has a bar (10am -10pm) with a few fireplaces ! I’ll definitely be back there again on my next Canberra visit

The bed was the most comfortable cozy bed ever. Loved it. The amenities were excellent. The construction made it difficult to park. Never got the TV to work but don’t care much about that

The ad on expedia is somewhat misleading as many of the pictures utilised are not of the Little National Canberra. They're from a selection of hotels in the Doma group within a 'precinct' . The gym facilities are not within the hotel, they're in another hotel and you have access to use them but I'm not certain whether it's free to use.

The rooms are small but all you need. I like this idea of having common areas where you can sit and chat or work. Make sure you reserve parking because it might be tricky otherwise.

The strong smell of epoxy glue upon arrival as renovation being done in reception area. Construction noise in my room on the fifth floor as renovation bring done in the bar area and restaurant. Closed bar and restaurant due to renovation works

Loved the little national hotel. Everything seemed new and the staff were friendly. My bed was super soft and the shower had good water pressure. The only issue I had was that the room was really dusty. Other than that, it was clean.

This is really lovely location and hotel. Tiny rooms but all you need. Must say the lounges in ‘library’ on the 5th floor (at the end looking into govt house) are positively filthy. We couldn’t bare to sit there. Sad.

The only questionable thing about the hotel is the orientation of the bed. The bed takes the full width of the room meaning if there are two people, one has to climb over the other. Or move the pillows and sleep across the bed. Not ideal. Otherwise the hotel is great. Everything is new and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We’d stay again.

I think is my new fav place to stay in Canberra. The beds are so comfortable and I like having the lounge and library. The staff are friendly and its in a conevenient location for me. The gap under the door does let in quite a bit of light and sound from the hallway though.

If you like a soft bed, upgrade this review to 5 stars. If you don’t have a great back and like a firm bed, downgrade this review to 1 star. My friends who stayed in an adjacent room liked the mattress but I thought it was the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. It is extreeeemely soft. My back is hurting after 2 nights at the hotel. After the first night I asked if a firmer mattress was available. I asked and was told guests generally love the beds and I do believe it. But that’s great for the majority of guests with good backs that can take the softness. For me, it was awful

“Little” is the operative term. The facilities are clean and modern. There is a nice lounge/working area but no restaurant (breakfast is available at a sister hotel across the street). It is ideal for a single working visitor but not enough space for two people .. the bed takes up a considerable portion of the room and can comfortably accommodate only one person

For those with impaired mobility it would be very hard for sleeper against window to get out of bed!! Silly design. Room is beautiful but not practical. Floor needs a small rug to soften the hard floor. 2 suitcase racks also needed

I like the ambience of this hotel and the staff are cheerful professional and friendly but the only request I made to them, for a printout of my invoice, they were unable to fulfill, apparently the printer was broken. The night before when I asked they said to go get my own copy in the library. If I asked them to get me an invoice why couldn’t they do it. I’m a 63 year old male, I need breakfast before I can deal with a printer. I thought it was pretty poor they wouldn’t help me with my request.

During the fire alarm staff did not inform guests what was happening. Room ok but too small no where to put clothes we were there for 3 nights overnight might be ok Annie was very helpful no cafe or restaurant open will not stay again and too expensive

Väldigt fint paketerat hotell som är fräscht som bara den. Kan absolut rekommendera boendet. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Relativt små men väldigt yteffektiva rum. Nu var utsikten katastrofal pga att vi tittade rakt in i en byggarbetsplats, men det kommer ju lösa dig med tiden. Stort plus för Honesty-baren för att det just var en honest bar och sen stort plus även för det väldigt fina gymmet som man har tillgång till på systerhotellet som ligger 200 meter därifrån.

The staff were polite and helpful but the fact that Ibwas in a wheelchair made it very difficult as there were no cafe's or resterants close to the property. I was under the impression that there was a cafe in the building but unfortunately it was closed. I also assumed that the bar would have usual snacks such as hot chips etc but I was disappointed.

Sensational from the staff assistance to the facilities this hotel is superb ! It even smells divine . The bed mattress was to die for and the lounge facilities were fantastic. Happy hour was fun . Highly recommend
