Major issue with the elevator caused me to be trapped in it for 2 hours before the technician arrived. No apology or offer of any compensation from the hotel made the whole experience that much more unacceptable. Room was very small and the single slope ceiling was low and claustrophobic, having to crouch down to access half the already small room.

I like the location. I like microwave access.I like the staff. I like the lobby washroom for guests. I don”t like door noise. I don’t like that there is no ice available for guests. Gym is too small. That’s it.

Very nice staff, close to the beach, clean and newly renovated. Parking available, which is very useful.

Hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of sites in Baixa and Alfama. Very friendly staff, immaculate room. We parked our hire car in Telpark which is 150 yards from the hotel for €25 per day. Really close to the blue metro line and easy walk to tram 28.

Cannot fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and towels changed every day. Location is excellent, short walk from the metro station, loads of restaurants close by. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but there are a few places nearby (less touristy ones) and there is a great bakery on the corner too. The complimentary port in reception was very gratefully drunk by us and it was lovely. Would stay here again.

The property is clean and great location, walkable to most things you might want to see whilst in the centre of Lisbon. I'm just rating it overall a 3 star though as we booked and paid for the internal balcony/decking area (so no windows to the outside but access to a deck inside with chairs and coverage to relax in) but it was actually closed for repairs. There was a hole on the decking floor, scaffolding etc. But at no point in the run-up to our stay did the hotel let us know about this. They let us book it so maybe it happened after our booking. But they didn't attempt to contact us, nor did they tell us about it when we checked in. We had to find it out by ourselves, which was a real shame as we specifically searched for days for a hotel that had some kind of relaxing balcony or deck with a small kitchen. We didn't even keep thy curtains to it open as we'd just be looking at scaffolding, broken floors, and cigarette butts. We noticed they updated their own website with notice about the repairs, but again, they never bothered to let us know. I also hate the idea of putting the responsibility on me to tell them or ask them about it for some kind of compensation because I'm the one that was surprised by all this, so why not they proactively try to do something about it like offer another room?

Room was clean, staff was friendly. Great location.

The drainage made the room very smelly specially during the night.

Location was great. However, the rooms (had 2 different ones in different floors, 3 night stay) had a strong musty smell. The smells were 'covered' right after the rooms were cleaned but they returned very strongly. They came from the bathroom area (tubing?).

Good Hotel but the cleaning staff didn't clean the toilet. Also they didn't have the room we requested but the room we got was good.

The smell was bad... room 309 (and, possibly, all of the 3rd floor of the hotel) smelled strongly of sewer gas. It is not possible they did not know about the smell, yet we were placed on that floor anyway. We endured it for the first night, then we asked for a different room because it did not go away. Room 209 (same spot in the building, but one floor lower) did not have this problem. The location was convenient for touring Baixa, Chiado and Alfama, certainly. But the price for this was double the cost of the hotel to which we moved after that, in Restauradores, near Rossio Station, which did not smell at all and was very comfortable, and was nearly as convenient to all of these places. We would have skipped Hotel 7 if we had known any of this. 3 stars are given overall, because it was convenient and the staff were wonderful, but the smell was very bad and the price was high for something that smelled so terrible.

Love the area - Praça do Comércio. This hotel is exceptionally clean!

The place was clean but their cleaning products have a strong scent.

I really like this hotel. The room was clean and very modern. Size was decent, two large suitcases fit just fine on the floor opened up. It wasn’t too loud from the street, the only downfall I have about the room was the bathroom and that there wasn’t any good spot to place your shampoo bottles in the shower, I had to balance it on top of the dispenser which was inconvenient. The bathroom also occasionally smelled of sewer, after a little while the smell disappeared, this wasn’t a deal breaker. The location is AMAZING, the hotel is on the same street as the Santa Justa lift, it’s just a street behind the main tourist street in Lisbon, Rua Augusta, with the most shopping and restaurants, a few seconds walk. The staff were very nice and helpful with any questions. They stored our baggage before check in and after. There was an option to pay more for early check in but that price was extremely steep. Breakfast was mediocre but as expected. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel is very clean, location is central for a tourist.

The location was perfect. Baixa-Chiaro metro station is around the corner, Rossio train station is 5 min walk away. Also many good restaurants are 10 mins away by walking. The room and bathroom were clean and bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend for a solo traveler but it is too small for 2 or more people.

Excellent location. Helpful front desk staff. Cute room but the eaves made certain parts of the room difficult to navigate without bumping your head. Breakfast was good.

Lovely hotel and in such a great location, so local to everything and very close to Baixa-Chiado metro which was very handy. Rooms are lovely and cosy, spacious, nice shower, working heating/AC and wifi. Big comfy bed. Great view from our window, room 503 for reference. Will defo return!

Small room

Small room with a window looking at a big pipe and wall outside no daylight gets in and certainly no fresh air if you open the window. Great location and decent breakfast

The property location is ideal for access to everything. The room was awkwardly small. There was not enough space for seating or any furniture.only the bed.

It was a well placed hotel in the middle of the city . Lots of restaurants around and the staff were very helpful. The only negative thing i can say is the soundproofing of our room was inadequate , you can easily hear your neighbors because there was a door connecting to the room next door.

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Lisbon's many neighborhoods and sights. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and we would definitely stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful and secured our transfer back to the airport for us. We could not have asked for a better experience.

The location is the best hands down. Central to major attractions but also quiet and calm. The staff were incredible; Muhammad and Karan provided great assistance and attention to all of our matters. The cleanliness and comfort of the room was amazing. From the comfort of the bed, awesome hot water and pressure from the shower, to the air conditioning provided an amazing stay at The 7 Hotel. We will be staying here upon our next visit.

Clean room, staff accommodated my power adaptor didn’t work .they let me use 1 of theirs for my stay.

The hotels itself was ok. Thanks for good windows, no street noise in the room. The staff was not ok but not at all welcoming.

Good location close to some sightseeing points. Close to metro station, you’ll need make sure to get out of metro station at the lower side entrance.

Perfekt beliggenhet 2 minutter fra metrostasjon og i hovedgaten. Rolig og stille til tross for hotellets plassering. Hyggelig betjening i resepsjonen.

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo de pontos turísticos, do comércio e do ponto de ônibus. Os quartos não são grandes e a estrutura é básica, mas ainda assim é confortável. Equipe de atendimento atenciosa e tirou várias dúvidas, auxiliando bastante. Somente o buffet do café da manhã não tinha muitas opções de alimentação. Ainda assim foi uma boa estadia.

Centrally located close to transport links. Helpful reception staff. Well equipped comfortable room with an excellent ensuite bathroom. The buffet breakfast is great value. Close to dozens of widely varied cafes and restaurants.

Our first visit to Lisbon.A very nice hotel well situated near one of squares and two minutes walk from the metro . The rooms are clean but small . Breakfast was continental style with lots of Portuguese pastries on offer including Pastel De Nata. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break.

The hotel staff- excellent. The included breakfast- excellent The location- excellent The only comment I have is the following- while the shower is beautiful to look at, it is very dangerous and unsafe in my opinion. There should be grab bars and decals on the floor to prevent falls.

Perfect location in the center of Lisbon, small, clean and quiet. Super friendly and helpful staff. Perfect buffet breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this city.

The Hotel is convenient for everything,clean quiet and rooms are just enough. The toaster at breakfast is ridiculously slow maybe they need a new one. But everything was excellent otherwise.

Very convenient that the hotel is close to the city. Very neat and clean at our room. Helpful staff and okay breakfast - maybe that’s the area that could be more varied.
