What a great hotel! Excellent location in the centre of the shopping area, 7 minute walk to the bus station and close to all the great bars and restaurants in Gros and the Old Town. The people working there are lovely and will do anything they can to help you. The hotel has everything you need including umbrellas and hairdryers etc they even helped us store my friend’s bike for the duration of the stay.

Very difficult to find reasonably priced rooms in San Sebastián, pension San Martin was just about right. Be aware, the rooms are very small but you have what you need for a two or three night stay.

The location is excellent. It is an 8 minute walk to the beach or Old Town. The neighborhood is quaint and his nice quieter restaurants nearby. Cafe con Leche is right downstairs is open early to late and became our breakfast spot. The rooms are no frills, clean. We fit a family of four snuggly.

This was our family’s first time staying in a pension, and we were genuinely impressed. As a family of four, we weren’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded our expectations. The facilities were spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The location was fantastic—close to everything we wanted to see and made exploring San Sebastián on foot incredibly easy. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay, especially as a family, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
