The only problem I had with my stay is the $35 a day parking fee. I understand the hotel is in a popular area in town but parking should be free for guests. No other problems. Friendly staff, clean room and great breakfast.

The entire hotel was operating with one elevator. The second elevator was broken 5 days ago and not fixed yet. Hotel should not be charging customers for parking.

Very clean and modern hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, definitely among the best free breakfasts I've had - stuff like cheese omelettes, biscuits and gravy, fresh chocolate milk, stuff like that. The A/C worked very well, which is a must for Austin in the summer -- got our room downright cold even. Wi-fi worked and was easy to connect to. Neighborhood was central to the things we wanted to do. Only negative thing I could say is that there's a homeless problem in the area that manifests itself after dark. One guy in particular was laying on top of a trash can and shouting a lot. But can't really fault the hotel for that. Just sorta is what it is in an urban downtown area.

We were in town for a concert at the Moody Center and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel lobby smells amazing! Our room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. The fridge and microwave came in handy for our leftovers. Jonathan at the front desk was very welcoming and even gave us a list of recommendations! That was a very nice touch. Our rideshare to the Moody Center was only around 6 or 7 dollars so not bad at all. We have zero complaints and look forward to staying there again for our next concert.

Biggest complaint bedroom carpet could not have been more filthy. Housekeeping was spotty. Public sitting areas were spotty. Positive front desk folks were terrific in every way

Nice hotel. Pool area was very nice. Room was cinsistent although not the cleanest (hair in shower) and woke with swollen eyes from dust mites. Homeless population near hotel's backside was a bit undesired with walking st night.

Had a lot of ants in our room. Felt itchy first night. Second night mentioned it and they did nothing. 3rd night said they would take care of it. Woke up the next day and seen more in bathroom and they finally moved us rooms.

The pool was beautiful but dirty. Clumps of hair floated at the bottom. We stayed four nights and only got housekeeping once and had to request it after we were missed for three days. Staff were lovely and friendly. Yes it is noisy with the bar across the street playing loud music until after midnight. Parking is expensive and is an additional fee to your stay.

The only complaint I have was that the live music from Stubb's next door seemed to be amplified by the air conditioner vent on the wall in the corner on the 5th floor. It sounded like a speaker. I could make out every word from the songs they were playing and it kept me up

Hotel was clean and walkable to many things. The pool was nice, I was able to enjoy it the morning of my check out since check out wasn’t until 2pm. I wish that when the bar/food is closed they had some small options in the grab and go like cold sandwiches or hard seltzers, there wasn’t any option besides basic vending machine items. Room was clean, blackout curtains wonderful. The only issue I had in the room is that my mini fridge didn’t get cold and I had brought back some food so I just ended up tossing it. Will be back for the location and the price!

The suite was very nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were excellent. The pool was nice. The breakfast was ok. The surrounding area is a mixed bag - plan on parking inside the basement. Walking back at night was unsightly- not for a woman alone. The overall location is good for driving/visiting Austin. The bathroom was very good. The whole suite was very clean. I had a good stay and slept well. The black out curtains were the best I have ever experienced. Recommended

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the customer service did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, I waited in a lobby with no air conditioning for about 25 minutes. No staff member acknowledged the line or offered any updates. When I finally reached the counter, the representative did not greet me—he simply asked for my name. I had questions about the $40-per-night parking, but instead of helping, he said he would address it after pulling up my reservation, then proceeded to assist another customer while someone else retrieved my room keys. I ended up figuring out the parking situation on my own. The hotel itself was good: the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I didn’t experience any noise issues. The location is convenient to Sixth Street and several great restaurants. However, on the second day, I got stuck in the elevator with two other guests. When I called the front desk for help, they tried to put me on hold. I explained I was trapped, and the staff member said he would call maintenance, then hung up. No one followed up or checked on us. We were only freed because another guest contacted someone they knew at the hotel. Overall, while the accommodations were fine, the lack of basic courtesy and poor response to a safety issue mean I would not return to this hotel

There was nothing sitting there would be a hold on an additional $100 for incidentals on either website. It was not on IHG mobile app. It was not on hotels.com. It was not on the Holiday Inn website and it takes 10 days to put back on the card, which is not fair to the user since it’s not noted anywhere

Reception manager Brenon is a 12 out of 10!!! He checked us in 10/24 and checked us out 10/28. His pleasant disposition was a constant. And he couldn’t have been more helpful every time we had a question. Thank you Brenon! You made our stay so nice.

The hotel was good and clean, good options for breakfast, the times are incorrect based on the email I received vs actual times by hotel staff. I did not read the part about parking fees on property until I got there but be ready if you’re driving, fee was about 40 dollars after taxes, I feel it should be discounted since is property but I cost me full price. There is a lot of places to drink at if you like that, a lot of homeless too but did not bother anyone while walking.

Parking i felt was too expensive, staff friendly, downtown with large homeless population, dated hotel but clean. AC very loud, earplugs available in room lol. I was fine but light sleepers beware. Carpet filthy in hallways. Good breakfast, bbq spot across st is meh.

The location is perfect for Comedy Mothership shows. The parking is the best price downtown. Great views of downtown Austin from the room. Super clean. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.

From the time I walked in to the time I left for the airport, I was very impressed with the property and the staff. The lobby area is clean and well lit and inviting with places to relax. I had a king room which I thought was impressively clean. The bathroom was nice with a walk in shower, they also have Dove products in their bathrooms, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and also body lotion. The breakfast was much better than other hotels that are more expensive. Besides the usual bagels, breads, cereals, oatmeal, and muffins, and yogurt, there was egg and cheese or veggie omelets, bacon, sausage on biscuits, hard boiled eggs, sausage gravy and fresh hot cinnamon rolls. The coffee was fresh and hot. They also had an automatic conveyor belt pancake making machine. Everything was so tasty. They had plenty of seating. The pool area was nice and inviting, and they had an exercise room. The property is within walking distance of the Capitol Building and downtown and shopping areas.

The main attraction is the location; walking distance to 6th Street, otherwise the hotel has little to offer. The hotel facilities and lobby are basic, the rooms are basic and the breakfast is below basic. Both mornings we struggled to find anything that was edible. Overall and expensive hotel for what they provided
