My wife and I stayed here during our trip to Austin for our 5th wedding anniversary. We loved the hotel. The room was nice and quiet. We loved the second floor pool and the outdoor bar. Perfect location to easily get anywhere in Austin.

I was hoping for a better pool experience. Especially in the summer. No bar service. Pool was dirty. Found a straw in water. Towels were available but not pool towels. They were very small. Had to use 3 to cover the chair. There was no music. Just felt low budget.

The hotel is in a good location for getting around downtown Austin. Check in wasn’t great, there was an issue with their system and instead of letting the line of customers trying to checking know this, they just ignored us until they were ready to proceed. Didn’t find them particularly friendly. The restaurant on site was closed for the duration and the pool was also closed for maintenance, we didn’t know this in advance. The rooms are nice and comfortable but overall I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Ended up at another hotel. At check in the room we paid for was not available. We were offered to remove some fees and remove the cost of the room we did not receive. That seemed ok. The staff at front desk and door were nice. Got to the room and the AC was making very loud screeching noises that was causing inner ear pain. It was cooling good though. But due to the painful noise we Had to turn ac off while We figured out what to do. Our phones got poor service in the building and there was also no internet available through the hotel. We called the front desk multiple times over a period of 30 minutes with no answer. So we had to make a decision to book elsewhere as the entire stay started off wrong. The floors were filthy and there was food behind the head board. Switching was the right decision. I would not choose the stay at this indigo location in the future.

Lovely property, great staff, VERY clean rooms. I could smell the cleanliness level, for me, that was my favorite part. One of the elevators had an issue but they have a second next to it and it was fine. Indigo still apologized by offering a free drink at the bar or a free appetizer, which was thoughtful even though we had no complaint. I also love the security level they use for entrance to the floors and your room, you must use your card in the elevator to get to your floor. We chose to stay here as we stayed a year ago for the first time and it was lovely, and close to the Moody and 6th St. It’s perfectly located near enough to eateries as Stubbs is directly across the street as well. We will continue to choose to stay here any time we are in town for a show.

The property was in a good location and easy to find. The Front Desk Rep and Valet Rep. were friendly and willing to help when needed. The room was okay but needed upgrades in certain areas (rust, chipped paint and peeling wallpaper). the Bar/ Restaurants were closing by time I got settled in, but the lobby had small food/ drinks available for purchase. I would book here again.

Booked and paid for 1 night at this property. The room itself was just ok, felt musty and damp, even with the AC on. Pillows were flat and lumpy. Shower pressure was weak. Proximity to restaurants and entertainment is great, though. Unfortunately, my son became very ill. We are from Corpus Christi, 3 hours away from Austin, and with an approaching tropical storm, I felt it best to check out and get him back home to get him medical help. Instead of leaving the key cards in the room and leaving, I took them to the front desk. I had paid $40 for valet parking and had to retrieve my car from the parking garage myself with a sick child in tow. Upon return home I noticed I was charged $75 for early departure fee, even though I had already prepaid for the whole night. I called and talked with Ryan, who after explanation of circumstances, agreed to waive the charge. The fact I was billed this additional fee in the first place is enough to deter me from ever staying at another IHG property again. The quality does not match the price.

The pool and pool bar were wonderful and there was nothing to complain about with the room itself. The service was the worst I've ever received. We stayed for 5 nights and only received housekeeping services once and that was on our last night, and service was only completed after 3 consecutive days of specifically requesting housekeeping. Fine for a day or two stay but don't expect to even be acknowledged by any staff except for the front desk clerks begging for your tips with their basic and poor food and bar recommendations.

The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful. There was parking around the vicinity of the hotel if you decided to not utilize the valet services offered. However, the housekeeping individuals never made our beds; they only ever supplied the restrooms with new towels each day, which I found surprising. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place to others!

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, staff is very helpful and friendly, beds are very comfortable so overall it was great. But the neighboring bar Cheer Up Charlies played the loudest music Ive ever heard until they closed at 2am, so we did not sleep well until the middle of the night. If I were to book again I would try to get a room on the opposite side of the building at least.

My Husband and two boys stayed at this hotel for one night so my boys could go to a concert, I will say that it will have to be the only hotel available for us to stay here again. I was told check in time was 3pm. my husband and boys showed up at 3:20ish and were told their room was not ready and that they had to wait, 45 minutes later they were able to get their room, then was told there is a $40 parking fee that was not disclosed on the site ( only mentioned valet parking for $45 ) then the a/c in the room didn't work. The a/c was set on 68 and the room was still at 82 degrees, something was said to front desk and was told there were no other rooms for them, so they slept in an 80-degree room for the night. So needless to say, it was unbearably hot.

Wow, what a great experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and even let us check in early at 12:30 at no extra charge. The rooms were clean, and they kindly stored our luggage until our flight while we relaxed by the amazing pool. Jonathan was an absolute sweetheart, and the whole stay was truly a 10/10. The only downside was the area—it felt a bit sketchy, with a lot of homeless people around and a strong smell in some spots.

This hotel is perfect to experience the downtown Austin experience in a great location for a great price. The entire staff was outstanding from checkin to checkout. Jonathan at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Kayla at the front desk was also extremely accommodating, kind, and helpful. The bartender, Kristine, was super cool and made having drinks at the bar more enjoyable. The GM and the F&B Manager were also extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable, and had an awesome view. I've stayed here twice already and will definitely stay again and I highly recommend it to anyone! Great job Hotel Indigo staff, thank you!

The property itself and the staff were great. Really cute hotel and eight in the thick of things. Saying that, it’s a bit noisy outside and while it’s next to fun bars and restaurants, it’s also next door to a homeless shelter so juts be alert if you’re out at night.

Great price and value for the stay. Close to all the bars and restaurants, and close to East Austin. Room was overall clean. Only complaint is for the bars. There is a pool bar but it doesn't open until 4pm, even on the weekends. The lobby bar is closed between lunch and dinner hours. Very odd for a boozy town like Austin!

We were not informed that the pool and roof top area were under construction during our stay. We purchased “free” breakfast with our stay. The restaurant was disgusting and covered with nats, service was the worst I’ve ever seen. Literally had to interrupt the one server from doing busy work to ask for waters a third time. Out of four mornings we went to the restaurant twice, first order was completely wrong and had something I am allergic to in it, server made it such an inconvenience to receive the correct order and told us to try again tomorrow.. The other time we left after 35 minutes of still not receiving water (server mentioned above) It was a nice, mostly centrally located area with walkability, but I would tell you to spend your money elsewhere.

It was very hot in the lobby as soon as I walked in. The first room I stayed in had an extremely loud AC, so I switched rooms, but unfortunately, the AC in the second room was just as loud and woke me up every time it turned on. The room was clean. Pool area was nice. Only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is that the air conditioner in the lobby wasn’t working and the front desk worker rebecca was treating not only myself but other hotel guest horribly. I have a disabled sister that needed assistance and she just gave me a hard time with everything. Other than that, the front desk workers the next day we’re extremely helpful.

Stayed 4 nights

No hot water for 3 days... they reimbursed me for 1 day but it was still very inconvenient. Also, hallway has master switch, so if it's off - light in bathroom does not work. Being informed of this at check-in would have been helpful so I wouldn't have to be trying to shower in cold water... in the dark 😫

Had a great stay. Location on Red River is very good for live music and a pretty short walk to 6th Street and Congress Ave. Don't skip the breakfast tacos with chorizo - I had them both mornings I was there and wish I could get them at home. Wait staff at the restaurant couldn't have been nicer.
