Perfect for a one night stay to explore the local area - swamp tours and Avery island - if u on a tour has nice swimming pool area to relax , and a free laundry room. There a few restaurants in walking distance- the Mexican one - is excellent- Rooms spacious and very comfortable

First time staying here for home Ragin Cajun football games. This hotel was amazing. I don’t know where they get their pillows but I would love to find out!!! Big rooms. Amazing breakfast! Pool! The only negative was the tv remote 😆 We will definitely be back here!!

Courtney was so helpful and patient with me, as I had a lot of questions. She was professional and made us feel welcome!!! The property was clean and well maintained. The pool area was nice, although there was a light out in the pool, floating in the water. But other than that, everything was great. Bed was so comfortable, rooms were cozy and the AC worked great in the LA summer. All staff were friendly, breakfast was nice with lots of choices. 10/10 would stay again!!

Location is in a good safe area. It was clean and front desk was extremely nice. Breakfast could have been better and also the gym was shut down and I feel like that something that should have been in the description prior to booking. Overall yea I would stay again

This hotel was clean. Check In was very quick and easy. The room was quiet and stocked with a sink, dishes, utensils, and a dishwasher. Although the reason I booked this property was because the photos show that the suites come with a cooktop w/2 burners. I was disappointed to find that this location doesn’t have any cooktops at all.(per the front desk clerk) I enjoyed the location as well as the stay. This was a great choice.

My check-in experience was frustrating, as I had to use three different cards due to a faulty system before finally getting checked in. The most concerning issue, however, was when my daughter got stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes. She was panicked and anxious, and when she was finally able to get off, staff casually mentioned, ‘This always happens,’ which is completely unacceptable. She refused to use the elevator for the rest of our stay. On a positive note, the breakfast was great, and the room was clean, but the safety concerns and lack of urgency from staff made this a disappointing experience.

We booked a suite as we were expecting to have our grandbaby and wanted to have a living space and bedroom. We arrived at 9 at night and the room had a musky smell and the couch had stains all over it. You would not want to sit on this couch, much less put your baby down on it. I called the front desk to complain and let them know that we would only stay that night and not 2 nights as planned due to the condition of the room. The manager was rude and stated that he was aware of the stains on the couch and there was nothing he could do about it. He also stated that "it was on us" if we wanted to leave, because we booked through Hotels.com. We did not stay the second night, but were charged for it. I think it is unreasonable when you book a room and get there and the room is unacceptable to charge the traveler. The lobby of this hotel is misleading..Looks like all the work has been in the lobby, but the actual rooms are not up to standard.

After spending the night in the room we found someone’s adult toy on the floor by the bed. obviously the room was not cleaned well. There were stains on the couch. I felt very disgusted by it all.

The bathroom shower was so nasty i couldn't shower. Its like someone said I will only clean the walla that is eye level. You could see dirt streaks. Floor of shower dirt still visible. Bedding smells stale. Hair on my toolet seat ,that housekeepjng should've seen. Rest of room was clean, but that shower was disgusting.I have pictures.

Overall the place seemed nice and clean. However, there was a roach chilling out on its back in the bathroom. Then my wife saw one crawling across the bedroom floor!!!! Very disturbing.

Finding this place is like a game, but once you do, it’s very nice. Lots of noise through the walls, no bottled water in the room like at other home 2 suites. I despise the soap and shampoo in the shower at any hotel. No clock in the room at all. Good location, walk to eats and easy parking

I recommend this property to anyone that needs a hotel in the Lafayette area. Very close to many restaurants and things to do. They have a small park next to it that’s very serene. I got the larger room and it was very very soacious. Can’t say enough good things about this property.

The staff and service was excellent. We checked in late in the evening and were so nicely greeted by Debbie who was helpful and kind. All staff we encountered were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay at this Home2Suites again! Thank you.

My first night was okay although I had my five kids with me within minutes of trying to settle into the room with my kids I get a call about noise although I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome I still decided to stay yet again that night we were in a little bigger room but got a welcome visit from one of the employees reminding us of noise in more than sure I was the only person this was done to not to mention every time we made a move around the building I felt like I was being watch and being profiled as a unfit mother I’m sure the lady had good intentions but it made me very uncomfortable with my stay I paid my money like everyone else repeatedly but my main concern was what I left with on my body it started when we went into the second room I assumed this was fle bites now have scars on my legs and arms and very upset I had no luck contacting the owner and at this point might be seeking other help at this point

We checked in late, but let them know that ahead of time. Literally waited in the lobby 45min to check in at 11pm. Only 1 room key worked. The bed had to be the worst bed I’ve ever slept on. Felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Sleeping in my car would have been a better option. 2 days later and I’m still sore.

The room is large and comfortable; very clean. The in-room kitchen is very convenient. I forgot my toothbrush and was surprised that they had none, even for sale; never encountered that in a hotel before. Area is not walkable - traffic is heavy and not pedestrian friendly

New, modern, clean. Good location. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Good breakfast selection. Only complaint might be that the weekend breakfast buffet should be left open later than 10 am. A lot of guests came as it was closing & after it closed.

Staff professional but surprised that they werent more openly friendly....its what i expect in my state of LA. Room was GREAT as were the amenitues. Place was difficult to find (GPS was also confused). And the breakfast was AWFUL. Pre packaged, old, re heated if you wanted a 'hot' breakfast. The non heated food was plentiful, however.

We were pleasantly surprised by how big our room was and the overall cleanliness of the hotel in general. When we went down for breakfast my husband was so happy with all the choices. I personally love the DIY waffles and with them, coffee and OJ I was set. I love that there was an offering of French Vanilla as well as plain creamer to choose from. If I had a gun out to my head and was told I had to give a suggestion to better my trip I would say a bigger variety of coffee creamers would be fun. I have to rate this hotel a 1000++. From now on when I am booking a trip I will look for a Home2suite by Hilton first. Everything was PERFECT
