Room was decent size and clean. The hotel is right near the trains station so convenient to transportation. There's also a street with a ton of restaurants two blocks away. Very easy to walk to. Go up to the workout center at the top of the hotel, even if you don't work out, for a great view of the city skyline. And here's the best part, Try the dinner buffet at least once. It's THE BEST of any hotel buffet that we have eaten at and we travel a lot. For the inexpensive price you get really amazing gourmet food! And for those who drink, unlimited beer on tap! :) There were people who didn't stay at the hotel come to eat the dinner buffet. That tells you a lot!

Very close to bus stop, convenience store, self laundry shop, and only 3-minute walk to the station. Room are compact poor storage space, but has everything need and clean. Happy to every day's bottlewater. Buffet breakfast were very satisfying but little tired with no change menu for 6day's. Compared to price, felt very convenient and a good value.

It's a great location for exploring Seoul. The buffet breakfast is amazing. Also, if you stay for a long time, they make a washing machine and dryer available (we recommend using the washing machine, then doing the drying in the launderette across the road, as it is much quicker). We also recommend buying a climate card for the Seoul underground and buses, but be aware that you buy the card in one place, then top it up in a standard machine in an underground station, which only takes small notes, and credit cards issued in Korea!

I had a wonderful long stay at Shilla Stay - Guro Digital Complex. The hotel was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, with many speaking English which made my stay even more comfortable - because my Korean language skills are terrible, I was even more grateful for this. The rooms were cozy and provided a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. I also loved using the gym and the provision of a laundry room made it feel like home. The hotel's location was extremely convenient, being not far from the station, and surrounded by numerous restaurants, shops, and even a fantastic nail salon. However, I also enjoyed eating in the hotel's restaurant where various dishes were served at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend Shilla Stay for anyone visiting the area.

The staff of the front desk, Hwang was very professional and kind. I have received amenties and some snacks with 2 cans of beer which i don't drink alcohol but it was still good. I was expecting the special gift of cartoon character but received different gifts. The hotel and my room was overally nice but when I checked in and soon as I elevated 10th floor, the carpet on hallway was peeled off and smelled awful.

I had a pleasant stay at Shilla Stay Guro. The room was on the smaller side, but that’s to be expected in a major city like Seoul — it was still well-organized and functional. The bathroom was excellent: modern, spotless, and with a great shower. Overall, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. One downside was the air conditioning. Although there was a thermostat in the room, the temperature seemed centrally controlled, and I wasn’t able to cool the room properly. It stayed around 25–26°C, which was too warm for comfortable sleep. To their credit, the front desk provided a fan, which helped a bit. Despite the A/C issue, I would still recommend the hotel for short stays, especially if you’re looking for something clean and reliable in a convenient location.

Hotel was very clean, staff was great and amenities were nice. The only thing I really disliked was the air conditioning which was controlled by the hotel. You do have the AC control in the room but its useless due to hotel over rides it. You cannot put temperature lower then 25C/77F. I guess all Shilla Stays are like this in Korea.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel etwa 20min von Hongdae entfernt. Trotzdem gibt es genügend Möglichkeiten auszugehen auch wenn einem nicht nach den Hotspots ist. Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und sauber. Sehr bequemes Bett. Zur Straße raus ist es leider etwas lauter aber immer noch erträglich. Wer Lärmempfindlich ist sollte vielleicht ein Zimmer nicht zur Straße anfragen. Line 2 ist 5 min entfernt und sehr frequentiert was busse angeht.

Nice big rooms with excellent bathrooms. Only NEGATIVE is the very warm rooms. At checkin they warned me that it was still winter in march/april so they had not cooling in the A/C, but 27*C is too warm for a hotel room. Only solution reception had was to turn of the heat and open the window, but with a metro and highway outside it got noisy. Very comfortable bed and good king size. Bathroom had nice asian toilet and shower was big and had warm water with good pressure. Breakfast was just ok. Not bad, but also not excellent.

This was my first time in Korea, and I couldn’t have felt more welcome. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The location is also ideal just a minute walk to the metro and airport bus. The only minor issue we experienced was with the room temperature. The building’s air conditioning was turned off due to it still being cold at night but with it being so hot during the day we couldn’t get the thermostat any lower than 26c even sleeping with the window open. Thankfully the staff gave me an electric fan to use. We had a great stay and would definitely return!

I stayed at Shilla Stay Guro for 10 days.(2/8-2/17). The flight was delayed due to an unexpected bad weather, so I arrived very late, but the staff had everything ready in advance for late check-in guests, so when I arrived, I didn't have to do anything and just went straight up to the room to relax. The size of the room was just right for two people to use, the cleaning condition was good, and the daily housekeeping was excellent. Also, I used the hotel breakfast several times during my stay, and the food condition and taste were excellent. If I travel next time, I would like to visit this place again.

Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the Guro Digital Complex Subway Station. It’s about 20 minutes walk from the Outlet malls but other than that, everything is quite far away. It is an hour or so by subway to get to myeongdong, Itaewon or Gangnam. But the hotel is clean and service is great. The room is slightly bigger than the usual hotel rooms in the city area. Overall good, if you are aware of the location.

The property was very clean, and is located in a very great spot! 5-10 minute walk to near by metro station (Line 2) and right across the street is Airport Limousine Bus stop! Right next door is a convenient store! The staff at the hotel were absolutely friendly and super accommodating to my situation. My husband wasn’t feeling well and was able to accommodate us to early check-in!

The service from staff at the front desk and dining was excellent. My concerns were more about the property itself, and Shilla should be ashamed about their maintenance. First, all the carpets on floors were loosen and come out. It is easy maintenance to stretch carpets and fix them. I did it for my house, and it doesn't cost much as not replacing carpets. Didn't they know about it? Second, breakfast has never been changed and always the same. Shilla again should be ashamed about their management. The corporation under Samsung family only cares about Shilla hotel but not Shilla stay? If the quality of breakfast cannot be good enough, you can either charge more and make it right or free breakfast for all. I felt so wasted and ignored despite of the fact that restaurant staffs were excellent and the top service. I blame more about Shilla stay and the executive level.

The hotel is very modern and clean. The staff, especially Chris Lee, was very helpful with an issue that we had with Expedia. He went above and beyond to make sure it was settled. The breakfast is great, but for a long term guest the menu gets repetitive. Overall, it was a very good experience and we would recommend this hotel.
