You wake up every morning in a lush jungle atmosphere and the beach is just steps away. This hotel is focused on wellness, relaxation, and a holistic lifestyle. There is daily yoga, meditation, breath work, and fire ceremonies included with your stay. Every Thursday they have live music. The food was delicious and healthy, with impeccable service. If you’d prefer to just relax with cold drinks on a beach with a gorgeous view, they have that, too. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice chill place with the occasional sighting of raccoon and coati, nice staff, nice temescal experience!

Nomade was such wonderful experience from beginning to end. The staff was so kind, attentive and exceptional. I loved the location, the vibe and the food was so delicious. I highly recommend all the restaurants, the Temazcal ceremony, yoga and massages at Yaan spa.

Excellent self help and yoga sessions

We were there when the sargassum was terrible so the beach experience and odor were unpleasant. Not controllable by the resort but I wish there was better notice of this for planning. We found the spa to be amazing, the rooms were lovely, food was good and proximity to cenotes was good. At night it’s a bit of a dark walk to get to the restaurant area. Better lighting would be good. We were able to take a car and find a beach that gave us our salt water fix.

I'm going to give it 4 stars for different reasons One of the main reasons just that it's too far from everything about 30 minutes, The hotel is beautiful, have nice facilities, The pool is very small very small Most of the places I've stayed They have a considerably large pool, since there are going to be a lot of people inside the place, The workers are very friendly, The place is always clean, Alejandra was very kind, I give her 5 stars because whenever I sent her a text she would reply to me later and send me certain link with all the info, Macondo's waiter, Russell was always very attentive to us throughout our stay, After all, the hotel is nice, but it's too far away from restaurants, Bars, downtown and everything else , it's mostly for relaxation.

Amazing wellness classes and beautiful pool!

There is no heated water in the pools and no hot tub other than that the location and property are nice! The showers work fine.

On the beach. Easy layout and everything is within walking distance. A beautiful and stunning property.

The tent stay was really cool. The tents were comfortable and quiet, and the outdoor shower was really nice. The very limited late-night dining/room service options (post 10pm) was pretty inconvenient but not a dealbreaker. The beachside service was great. The food and drinks were excellent.

Wir waren 10 Tage in diesem schönen Hotel. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist wunderschön angelegt, leider ist der Zustand der Zimmer (Fußböden, Fenster etc.) etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Daher stimmt hier das Preis Leistung Verhältnis überhaupt nicht. Das Houskeeping könnte auch etwas ordentlicher putzen, unsere Badezimmer Armaturen wiesen die ganze Zeit Flecken auf. Wir haben leider die Erfahrung machen müssen, das die Dame vom Houskeeping unsere Terrassen Türe nicht abgeschlossen hatte, und so kam ein Waschbär in unser Zimmer und hat den Kühlschrank sowie sämtliche Snacks auseinandergenommen. Unser Bett hat er auch für sich entdeckt. Uns wurde für die Nacht ein anderes Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt, bis unser Zimmer am nächsten Tag gereinigt wurde. Doch auch hier hatte sich der Waschbär (wegen nicht verschlossener Türe vom Personal) über die Minibar & Kühlschrank her gemacht. Es kam keine Entschuldigung seitens des Hotels, was bei dieser Preisklasse wohl zu erwarten gewesen wäre. Am nächsten Tag wurde dann erst gegen Mittag unser Zimmer gereinigt aber der Kühlschrank wies immer noch die „matschigen“ Fußabdrücke des Waschbärs auf. (So sauber wird gereinigt)… Unser Zimmer war mit eigenem Pool ausgestattet, dieser war nicht nutzbar, da auch hier der Waschbär sich breit gemacht hatte, er kam regelmäßig um sein Futter zu waschen. Außerdem wurden die Pools im unteren Stockwerk regelmäßig gereinigt, unserer ein einziges Mal in 10 Tagen.

Wir hatten hohe Erwartungen an das Hotel als Highlight unserer Rundreise, wurden aber leider enttäuscht. Positiv war der wunderschöne Strand und die dschungelartige Anlage. Doch der Aufenthalt im Bungalow war stressig: Die Kompressoren der Klimaanlagen erzeugten viel Lärm, der Boden hatte große Schlitze, durch die Spinnen und Insekten eindrangen, und handbreite Schlitze an der Badtür ließen ständig Mücken ins Zimmer. Das Zimmer war dunkel, Kissen und Bad müffelten, und Waschbären versuchten, ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Hinzu kamen unzureichender Service – kaputtes Telefon, kaltes Duschwasser am ersten Tag, nicht steuerbare Klimaanlage (wurde erst bei auf mehrfache Rückfrage behoben) und ignorieren unserer Bitte, auf das Housekeeping zu verzichten. Bei einem hochpreisigen 4-Sterne-Hotel hätten wir deutlich mehr erwartet und werden nicht zurückkehren.

This place is infested with bugs , room had roaches and many tiny bugs all around. Mosquito are the primary residents of this hotel , our kid woke up with swollen eyes the next day of check. This happened when we used the bug spray provided in the room and they charge USD 24 for that spray :) . Overall staying here is a heath hazard we had to check out early and move to Cancun for rest of the trip .

Beautiful hotel. Very expensive food and drink. Only one option for the ‘free’ breakfast. Was hit with extortionate mini-bar charges for items that looked like they were included in the room (one spray of the bed mist cost almost 30 USD). On the first night there was a heavy rainstorm, and we had water leaking through the light switches. Maintenance came to have a look, took some pictures, said he would come back, but didn’t. Staff were friendly and it’s a nice place to spend a few days, but wouldn’t rush back given the prices and lack of transparency with the free/paid room amenities

The hotel is abnormally dark- service level by calling room service or concierge is a coin toss if someone picks up. We called for 5 days straight for extra towels, and not once it was delivered. Rooms are super dark and absolutely not kid-friendly. Be ready for hot water to run out and cockroaches and raccoons to visit your room throughout your stay. We are never staying here again. And for the price you pay, as if you’re in Beverly Hills 5-star resort, the food is half okay. We are not staying here ever again.

This was honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Everything was perfect — incredibly beautiful, super clean, and the service was amazing. I loved everything about it and I’m 100% coming back!

I was not sure what to expect going to Tulum and my expectations were exceeded at every turn. The friendliness and cleanliness are second to none. The beach and grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. I can't wait to go back.

This hotel in Tulum is an absolute disaster. The rooms are dark, dirty, and full of mold — it’s honestly a health hazard. The air smells damp, and it’s clear that upkeep has been neglected for years. What’s worse is the customer service. The staff is unresponsive and borderline rude, acting as though they’re doing you a favor just by being there. The price is outrageous for what you’re getting. This might have been a nice place to stay a decade ago or even five years back, but now it’s just overpriced trash. It’s clear the management has let this place fall into complete disrepair while still charging like it’s a five-star resort. If you’re considering staying here, don’t. Tulum has plenty of other options that actually care about their guests. This place is a total rip-off

Place was absolutely Amazing. The room was spectacular. Everything was clean, everything was great.

This property was SOOOO beautiful & very zen. The only issues I had were more related to customer service. If you had any issues, they were not willing to accommodate at all. It was very much a "you get what you get & you don't throw a fit" attitude from the staff. This includes restaurants & front desk. Next to no light when getting ready in the Jungle rooms. Very dark. Despite all this - I would still stay here again. Very beautiful place

Wonderful hotel, but it's more of a chain hotel than a boutique hotel in my opinion. It's super comfortable and has the great advantage of being right next to the beach. The staff is superb. The room is super comfortable and very nice. I highly recommend it for spending time with your partner and enjoying the beach.

The property is amazing. I felt so at peace. It is beautiful and magical. You feel your in the jungle the entire time. Our room was perfect. We stayed in a tent and it was amazing. I felt so connected to nature. I love that they don’t have tv’s. Their beach is beautiful and their restaurants are so peaceful. I would recommend and plan on returning. I felt I didn’t stay long enough

Rooms are not what I thought , bathroom layout is terrible toilet and shower in one room water goes everywhere , over priced restaurants , and worst of all the room has very poor lighting. On a positive not beach was amazing . Best part of the stay

we really enjoyed our stay at nomade. the beach was wonderful and restaurants on-site were stellar. the beach was exquisite and it was easy to get a good spot, at least in the morning. the daily complementary breakfast at macondo was excellent and a nice touch. kuu was amazing and the best meal we had while in tulum. the only activity we did was yoga, which was great, but they offer a lot. it was located close to other restaurants we went to such as arca and wild. the room itself (jungle) was nice and cleaned daily. it was plenty of space for two. the only thing was at night the place turned into a strange club-like atmosphere. one night, there was a line to get back into the hotel with people just trying to go dance at macondo. it was odd for us to try to push through this group to explain we were guests and staying there, and they’d let us in immediately, but it was still strange (they could’ve had a separate line or area for hotel guests to get through quickly, as a suggestion). it also went until around 2am and was audible from our room, but at a level that we still could sleep soundly (as we generally did). also, as a side note, we went to gran cenote and it was quite expensive to get there ($110 USD), as it was somewhat far, but it was a beautiful and a sweet experience. last, all of the staff were great, although the front desk wasn’t always the most helpful. altogether we really liked this hotel!

An Unforgettable Stay — Already Planning Our Return We had such an amazing time at this resort — it honestly checked all the boxes for us. Mornings were something to look forward to, thanks to the breakfast spread. It was not only delicious and fresh but also super healthy and beautifully presented. Tons of variety too — whether you’re into light bites or a full meal, it was all there. The grounds are just stunning. Lush, green, and full of natural beauty, everything looked like it came straight out of a magazine. You could tell they really care about upkeep — everything was spotless without feeling overly manicured. The staff made us feel so welcome. Everywhere we went, people were kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Several even remembered our names, which honestly blew us away — it added such a warm, personal touch. As for the restaurants, all three on-site were great — each one had something different to offer and the settings were absolutely gorgeous, in that natural, unforced kind of way. The beach restaurant was our favorite: the view, the breeze, the food — it was everything we hoped for. One of the biggest surprises was the variety of workshops and classes available. We tried yoga, breathwork, an ice bath, and even the temazcal — and every single one was led by someone who clearly knew what they were doing. Some of it was out of our comfort zone, but the instructors really guided us through. Totally worth it.

The property is situated in the jungle steps from the beach. My room was spacious, very nice,clean and well appointed. The service was oustanding particularly the concierges (Raquel and Ailyn) and the waiter at Macondo and La popular (Shout out to Russel). The yoga classes very great and so was the massage in one of the most beautiful spa I ever visited. A couple of things were less than perfect: there isn't enough light in the bedrooms. I had to ask for an additional lamp to be able to read at night. Also the hotel rents out beach chairs and umbrellas after 12pm to people other than guests of the hotel. This causes a "mad rush" in the morning to secure a beach chair. Due to the seaweed the beach is often unpleasantly covered by it and the sea is brownish but the hotel goes out of its way to remove the seaweed.

The people in service roles at the restaurants and beach are great. Beach situation is great. The administrative staff is not, they’re unresponsive and don’t follow through. It’s overpriced for what it is now and you do not get the hospitality or concierge/service you would at a Belmond, Four Seasons, etc. they offer zero help. We were charged $150 for using the room’s sunscreen supply on the way out… They figured out the playbook on nickle & diming, and not leaving guests wanting to take a return stay.

Everything is great, very unique hotel and location. Only one thing is be careful what you pay by card, cash or by room number. In the end it might be discrepancies, and hotel might charge you twice for what you paid already.

This property was beautiful and authentic, perfect Tulum vibes. The waitstaff were amazing and some were even Mayan which was incredible to chat with them about. The front desk staff was ok- they were a bit on their high horse at times and tried to overcharge for a few things we did not use in the room ( read your bill throughly!!). But the waitstaff and chefs I can’t compliment enough ! Excellent with food allergies, requests and got everything right every time. Amazing people.

Very nice hotel but the street it is on is in very bad shape. From pot holes to sketchy looking people, it made us feel very uneasy walking around. Overall we had a great experience at the hotel but it did feel over priced. Not sure we would go back.

There was a general lack of interest by reception on arrival and during the stay. It’s as if they believe they are one of the places to stay in Tulum beach and that’s enough. When I reported food poisoning from eating at the hotel, there was no reply and when I mentioned it at check out it was met with an oh dear that’s a shame. No interest at all I understanding that there may be an issue with the cleaning of food, use of water in the juices etc. The overall atmosphere is that of a club, like the many beach clubs, not a hotel. If you want to be cool and be seen, perhaps this is a place to go. But if you want a top hotel, this is not it. There was no prior warning that the NYE party would run all night into the morning with music that earphones and noise cancelling headphones could not shut out. The rooms are tents so the noise can be heard easily - even when the music was not on, you can hear work at the hotel from early morning until late. If you want peace and quiet, reflection in Tulum do not stay here. If you want Insta pics and constant noise, it may be for you.

The hotel is really nice however I got sick eating at the beach club - and didn’t get to enjoy anything. I ordered the shrimp burger and a green juice and got food poisoning from it.
