The hotel is in downtown Porto and major attractions can be reached by foot. The rooms are clean and spacious, staff is very attentive. Weather permitting you can have breakfast on the rooftop terrace and have a nice view over Porto. There is some nightlife noise here, so opt for a room facing away from the street if possible. Breakfast was basic so we had our coffee in one of the many cafés in the neighborhood. Overall a pleasant experience, thumbs up!

The hotel is located very close to the centre (the river is downhill from the hotel 15mins walking). There is a large supermarket 1 minute walk away, which serves all foods including hot meals. The rooms are very clean and spacious, we had a suite, which was certainly worth the upgrade. The rooftop breakfast was a delightful experience, particularly considering it was included with the room price. Also they have gluten free options, you just need to request them. The car park directly opposite allows you to park for €15 per 24hours. Although you need to validate your parking ticket at the hotel reception. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend!

Brilliant location with many restaurants close by. Staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean. The shampoo/conditikner/shower gel was a nice touch in the room. Secure entry. There was a little noise from the street but we stayed at the weekend so more people out and about later at night. The noise did not bother us at all but may for very light sleepers. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and there is outside seating on the rooftop. Great hotel especially for the price.

Parking was excellent, right across the street and reasonably priced and safe Front desk staff was excellent and very helpful, especially Daniel and Patricia. They went out of their way to help us. Irena at breakfast was also excellent and took very good care of us and even packed us breakfast when we had an early tour.

O quarto é muito bom. Por outro lado a informação de disponibilidade de garagem está incorreta. O hotel não tem garagem. Existem dois convênios com estacionamentos próximos. Em ambos os os casos temos que arrastar as malas pela rua. No meu caso foi pior porque chovia MUITO na cidade do Porto. Além disto o café da manhã é paupérrimo. Não tem nem suco de frutas. As frutas que o hotel se resumem a algumas maçãs velhas e passadas. Enfim, para o padrão do hotel, precisa melhorar muito! Outro fato que merece registro é o comportamento da funcionária Sra Patrícia da recepção. Demonstrou enorme agressividade no tratamento e uma falta educação evidente, constrastando com os demais funcionários que são muito gentis, solicitos e prestativos.

The hotel is in a great location, just about 20 minutes walk away from all major sights in Porto. There is car parking available opposite (don’t let the reviews hold you back, the car park is actually OK) for 15 euros/day. The reception staff is very polite and helpful. However, rooms could do with a lot of maintenance - loose toilet seat, leaking shower and shower head, decaying wood panels, worn out mattress etc. WiFi is good but it’s linked to the TV in some sort of weird arrangement so if you switch the TV off the wifi goes off. The breakfast easily tops one of the worst breakfasts we’ve ever had in a hotel. There is literally one type of cheese, one type of ham (doesn’t look very appetising), boiled egg, few sweet pastries and basic cereals. And melon. That’s the only fruit you have, nothing else, no greens, tomatoes or other legumes. Overall an OK-ish stay but given the cost of the 2 rooms we had for 3 nights (700 euros) the hotel is not good value for money and we would not stay again.

The hotel has exited my expectation. Nice decor, very clean, comfortable, eco friendly. The location can't be any better, right in the center of old town. There was initially some confusion with retrieving my booking, but the receptionist dealt with it promptly and professionally. Thank you for a lovely stay, I would definitely book again if I'm visiting Porto.

Ett mycket rent och snyggt hotell med bra läge nära den gamla stadsdelen. Mycket trevlig personal, både när vi kom på kvällen och personalen på morgonen. Det tog dock lite lång tid att bli insläppta då vi anlände vid 19.00 tiden. Rummen var stora och trevligt inredda. Kommer gärna tillbaka till detta hotell.
Ett mycket rent och snyggt hotell med bra läge nära den gamla stadsdelen. Mycket trevlig personal, både när vi kom på kvällen och personalen på morgonen. Det tog dock lite lång tid att bli insläppta då vi anlände vid 19.00 tiden. Rummen var stora och trevligt inredda. Kommer gärna tillbaka till detta hotell.

The staff of the hotel were great and room was comfortable. Unfortunately there is a club next door that is open from midnight to 6am that creates a lot of street noise. People congregate on the steps of the theatre itself after leaving the bar creating a noisy environment.

L'hotel est très bien situé, le personnel agréable et la deco sympa, toutefois, le lit n'était pas du tout confortable, probablement peu récent, je sentais les ressorts. L'absence totale d'intimité au moment de la douche était aussi génant, avec sa paroi vitrée face au lit, surtout dans une chambre à lits jumeaux. Enfin le petit déjeuner était spartiate.

We arrived in Porto after a red eye flight from America and we rode the train to the hotel. We were so tired. We arrived at the hotel at 10:45am and asked if we could possibly check in early. The answer was maybe by 2:45 pm. We asked for a restroom and was told it was on the 6th floor. After using the facility, we noticed a nice outside patio that no one was using. We sat down and relaxed as we had already paid for our room. After a few minutes, we were told we had to leave. The staff were not very welcoming.
We arrived in Porto after a red eye flight from America and we rode the train to the hotel. We were so tired. We arrived at the hotel at 10:45am and asked if we could possibly check in early. I arrived to be told the hotel was full and my room was not functional..I am 80 years old and was sent to a nearby hotel. Couldn’t they have moved someone else. I was going to have to walk to the other hotel until they decided to put me in a taxi. Very disappointing!

We enjoyed our stay, very central location, Daniel was very helpful and friendly. The lady in charge of the Cafeteria was kind enough to pack our breakfast when we had early excursions. We were lucky to meet the owner who was very friendly.

The room I had was fairly basic, twin single beds, no frills, but the shower was good, everything worked. Well, the bedside lamp had a dodgy switch, but that was fixed immediately after I reported it, so they don’t lose marks for that. All the staff I dealt with were helpful and kind. The included breakfast was fine for a day or so, I imagine it would become repetitive over a long stay. The location was excellent, everything was walkable, there’s a big supermarket a few doors away…there had been previous reviews about noise from an adjacent nightclub, but I heard nothing. In fact, my first night there, I had the best sleep in two weeks of travel.

As frutas que o hotel se resumem a algumas maçãs velhas e passadas. Enfim, para o padrão do hotel, precisa melhorar muito! Outro fato que merece registro é o comportamento da funcionária Sra Patrícia da recepção. Demonstrou enorme agressividade no tratamento e uma falta educação evidente, constrastando com os demais funcionários que são muito gentis, solicitos e prestativos.

Brilliant location with many restaurants close by. Staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean. The shampoo/conditikner/shower gel was a nice touch in the room. Secure entry. There was a little noise from the street but we stayed at the weekend so more people out and about later at night. The noise did not bother us at all but may for very light sleepers. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and there is outside seating on the rooftop. Great hotel especially for the price.

Die Unerkunft liegt mitten im Zentrum von Porto. Ca. 100 Meter von der Fußgängerzone entfernt. Ideal für eine Städtereise. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist eine 10 von 10, hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Der Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel kostet 25 €. Wir fanden das in Ordnung, da es ca. 20 min. zu fahren sind. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Etwas nervig war bei uns die Disco bzw. Veranstaltungshalle direkt nebenan. Dort war am Samstag eine Veranstaltung und wir hatten die Bässe bis 5 Uhr morgens. Trotzdem können wir das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen. Wir werden auch wieder kommen.

The hotel is in downtown Porto and major attractions can be reached by foot. The rooms are clean and spacious, staff is very attentive. Weather permitting you can have breakfast on the rooftop terrace and have a nice view over Porto. There is some nightlife noise here, so opt for a room facing away from the street if possible. Breakfast was basic so we had our coffee in one of the many cafés in the neighborhood. Overall a pleasant experience, thumbs up!

Chambre propre mais un peu déroutante. Les cloisons douches et surtout toilettes sont en verre... Notre chambre était au 1er étage et la première nuit fût courte. Sortie Boite de nuit sous nos fenêtres avec une bagarre générale entre 5h30 et 6h00. Petit déjeuner sans plus, pas de jus de fruits. Personnel très sympathique.

Parking was excellent, right across the street and reasonably priced and safe Front desk staff was excellent and very helpful, especially Daniel and Patricia. They went out of their way to help us. Irena at breakfast was also excellent and took very good care of us and even packed us breakfast when we had an early tour.

The property is in a gorgeous art deco building which unfortunately is not well maintained. Our room was very large but there is a club in the building and the noise from the street at 2am was overwhelming. The breakfast was very basic.

The hotel is in a great location, just about 20 minutes walk away from all major sights in Porto. There is car parking available opposite (don’t let the reviews hold you back, the car park is actually OK) for 15 euros/day. The reception staff is very polite and helpful. However, rooms could do with a lot of maintenance - loose toilet seat, leaking shower and shower head, decaying wood panels, worn out mattress etc. WiFi is good but it’s linked to the TV in some sort of weird arrangement so if you switch the TV off the wifi goes off. The breakfast easily tops one of the worst breakfasts we’ve ever had in a hotel. There is literally one type of cheese, one type of ham (doesn’t look very appetising), boiled egg, few sweet pastries and basic cereals. And melon. That’s the only fruit you have, nothing else, no greens, tomatoes or other legumes. Overall an OK-ish stay but given the cost of the 2 rooms we had for 3 nights (700 euros) the hotel is not good value for money and we would not stay again.

We have had a fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. This is our second time staying here. What stood out the most was how helpful the reception staff were. Absolutely amazing!!! Our room was very spacious and so clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Easily walkable to so many things we wanted to see and do. Also close to the train station. They willingly stored our luggage for 3 weeks while we went on a cycle trip. When we arrived back, our luggage was already in our room waiting for us!! The morning breakfast was very good and again, the staff there were delightful. We hope to return someday!

What a fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. We were able to walk to all of the sights and there were great restaurants and shops near by. The staff were incredibly helpful and we really appreciated that they were willing to store our luggage while we went on a bike tour. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and it was nice to enjoy the rooftop balcony. We’re looking forward to returning in a few weeks.
