Wonderful stay. Hotel was small, quiet and beautiful. Room very stylish with super comfortable bed. Great breakfast and most amazing staff. Area has several really nice restaurants, great transport links and easily walkable. The little outside space was just stunning, kept very clean and welcoming. We would most definitely return.

Garam is run by a friendly crew and their breakfast is good. They feature a cozy atrium where guests can have a drink or read. They lack an elevator so getting your luggage to and from the room can be a bit challenging. Our bathroom was quite small, even by European standards. The rooms lack a telephone so requests must be handled personally. It is well located.

Nice boutique property slightly away from the noisy city centre. Easy to take Ubers (& cheap) if you don't want to walk. Staff were great and room was very comfortable, especially the air conditioning! Breakfast was lovely sitting outside on patio. Had a nice relaxing weekend and would defintely recommend.

The staff is very nice. The facilities are cute. The space in the room was quite limited but ok. No place to hang the clothes properly and hang the towels. No elevator but the staff was helpful to carry the lodged. The breakfast and free coffee was great.

A gem. Amazing staff and location. Parking can be difficult but the staff can recommend a few spots. We used street parking at the top of the hill and a parking garage around the corner…10€ a day. Quimera Brewpub is a nice spot for pint.

A cute quirky boutique hotel. Small comfortable room with pool courtyard view. Good Bath amenities - but no toilet paper holder but this may be a Portugal thing? Fantastic breakfast adorable eating area inside and outside. Very nice staff. Building is old so floor to room was uneven. Room was perfectly quiet for a great sleep.

The staff was excellent reaching out to us for transportation and other things ahead of time. Breakfast was good and in a lovely space. Air conditioning was good..bad: no elevator and the bathroom was not up to 5 star standards, very small, no blow dryer, and temperature of the water in the shower was inconsistent.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of healthy choices including eggs done your way. The location was close enough to the centre but also far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood. There were some very good restaurants nearby. The room was very small with not much room for our luggage. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was very good. Be prepared for narrow stairs - no elevator.

Amazing staff and service! Very attentive and helpful, loved the easy communication through WhatsApp, we got recommendations on the go as we were exploring the city! The location is not the best but easy access to public transportation and we mostly used uber as it was cheap and easy! The breakfast was a great touch, fresh simple breakfast! Doesn’t have elevator so if you get upper floor room and luggages might be tough but they helped with carrying the luggages. Overall very pleasant stay!

Haben unser Zimmer eine Woche vor unserer Reise gebucht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber und süß eingerichtet. Jedoch sollte einem bewusst sein, dass es (zumindest war es bei unserem Zimmer so) keine schließende Badezimmertür gibt, sondern "nur" eine Schiebetür (sehr hellhörig!). Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Leider befand sich an unserem Badezimmerfenster bzw. an den Wänden davon leichte Schimmelansätze. Ein abdunkelnder Vorhang wäre toll gewesen, da durch den Rollo relativ viel Licht ins Zimmer kam. Sehr freundliches Personal! Würden es in Summe aber weiterempfehlen.

Desværre var de to værelser i stueplan, så fugtige, og med en forfærdelig lugt af fugtig kælder. Vi påtalte de flere gange, og personalet tog høfligt imod vores besked. Desværre var oplevelsen, at de havde hørt det flere gange. De to værelser burde ikke udlejes, og vurderes sundhedsskadelige. Måtte tage dobbelt astmamedicin, og øjnene blev røde. Øv øv, når resten var så godt.

The Garam Lisboa is truly a beautiful space, and the employees are so kind and service minded. The only thing is that it seems like it is a small humidity problem, the toilet paper was never really dry for instance and it smells a little bit. Simple breakfast, but very good!

De eerste kamer bij het inchecken rook naar schimmel. De tweede kamer was beter, maar had slechte geluidsisolatie. Het hotel ligt op het vluchtpad en 's morgens vroeg en 's avonds laat raast er elke vijf minuten een vliegtuig over. Het was een hels lawaai omdat er geen geluidsisolerende ramen zijn. Zonder goede oordoppen is het onmogelijk om te slapen. Hoewel de decoratie hip is en de staf uiterst vriendelijk, is dit hotel geen aanrader.

Property had a beach hut vibe and gave the impetus were in a tropical environment! Staff were absolutely fantastic. Word of warning for light sleepers, the mini fridge is near your head when you sleep and the humming is a pain in the neck. The shower also goes from lukewarm to burn your skin hot.

Lovely property and friendly staff. The only issue was we were given the attic room. The ceilings were too low and we kept hitting our heads on the ceiling. The room seems very crammed due to this. The pictures in the listing make the rooms seem bigger than what they are. We also didn’t have any “real” windows in the room. Because it was an attic room the windows were tiny where you couldn’t poke your head out or look outside really.

The room size was very small. There were no drawers to unpack our stuff. We were checked into a room with broken AC, which is not acceptable. The close by restaurant recommendations were not always reliable (they were closed). Breakfast was excellent. Staff responsiveness was excellent. They helped us with taxi reservations which we have greatly appreciated.

We can not say enough good things concerning the Hotel Garam!!! Even before our arrival they were looking out for us and arranging transportation from the airport. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Anna, served a welcome glass of wine and equipped with helpful information for our first visit to Lisboa. The breakfasts are excellent including fresh squeezed orange juice!! We have never been made to feel more cared for than by the entire staff at Hotel Garam, led by David! We enjoyed Hotel Garam’s quiet neighborhood with DELIGHTFUL restaurants! This is the place you Want to stay!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The hotel is gorgeous and clean. The staff at the front desk were so helpful with everything we had questions about - you can reach them on whatsapp whenever you need to. Davi was exceptionally helpful and friendly - thank you so much!!! We would definitely stay here again :)

This was our first visit to Lisboa, and from our initial email with the hotel, which provided suggestions for dining options, we were extremely pleased. The staff was incredibly friendly. We were able to get into our room early, which was a huge help given we had been traveling for so long from the US and were exhausted. The room was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was ample. We chose this area of the city to be away from the more touristy-parts, but still have access to easy public transport. We absolutely recommend Garam Lisboa and think it an excellent choice for travellers. We have been to many places around the world, and this was one of the best - a small boutique hotel with caring staff. You will not regret choosing this place!

De eerste kamer bij het inchecken rook naar schimmel. De tweede kamer was beter, maar had slechte geluidsisolatie. Het hotel ligt op het vluchtpad en 's morgens vroeg en 's avonds laat raast er elke vijf minuten een vliegtuig over. Het was een hels lawaai omdat er geen geluidsisolerende ramen zijn. Zonder goede oordoppen is het onmogelijk om te slapen. Hoewel de decoratie hip is en de staf uiterst vriendelijk, is dit hotel geen aanrader.

Garam Lisboa has so much going for it! Unique decor, all very helpful staff for recommendations or transport options, city bus stops half a block away. Walkable dining of all sorts - markets, pizza, gourmet, bakery cafes. Safe neighborhood. Would definitely choose again!

Rommet var veldig lite. Sengen var også veldig liten for 2 personer. Sengen var heller ikke optimalt god å ligge i. Dusjen var liten og det tok tid før vannet ble varmt. Måtte slå på det varme vannet og vente utenfor dusjkabinettet. Synes ikke beliggenhet var bra da det var langt å reise inn til sentrum. En må bruke Uber eller Taxi for å komme til mer sentrale områder. Ønsker en å være i sentrum av Lisboa anbefaler jeg ikke dette hotellet. Ikke heis så en må bære kofferter opp trappene. God frokost. Gratis kaffe og frukt. Hyggelige resepsjonister.

Our host met us outside and helped with our luggage, explained everything and then served us delicious welcome drinks in the courtyard, even offering a free refill. We had a convenient room on the first floor and enjoyed a lovely breakfast.

Die Unterkunft hebt sich von der Innenausstattung von anderen ab, geht eher in die balinessiche Richtung..wenn auch nich4 immer alles praktisch ist, unsere Badtür, alt/schön, aber nicht zum richtigen Schliessen. Super nettes , aufmerksames, hilfsbereites Personal, leckeres Frühstück, wenn auch nach einer Woche ein kleines bisschen Abwechslung fehlt. Gut ist auch, dass man sich jederzeit Kaffee, Tee, Wasser nehmen kann, auch Obst ist immer da. Der Empfang ist immer besetzt. Ich würde es weiterempfehlen.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of healthy choices including eggs done your way. The location was close enough to the centre but also far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood. There were some very good restaurants nearby. The room was very small with not much room for our luggage. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was very good. Be prepared for narrow stairs - no elevator.

Davi and Barbara went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was pleasant. Great location for exploring Belem and the waterfront. I really appreciated the personal touches like the snacks and drinks in the room, but more than that I appreciated Davi’s help with the trains and anything I needed! I look forward to coming back someday :)

The staff was so helpful, we ran into a few hiccups and they were so helping to us!! The rooms were so cute, breakfast was great, and the outside seating area was great for bringing back a bottle of red and smoking cigs haha. If we ever come back to Lisbon, we will be staying here :-)

Very clean, charming unique decor, super friendly and helpful staff, fresh fruit and beverages available all day, quiet street, lovely courtyard with a small pool to dip in on a hot day, small market and some nice restaurants a short walk away. Will definitely stay again and will be recommending to all friends and family. I was in Lisboa for a meeting at the Congress Center and it was an enjoyable walk from the property.
