This place was perfect! It was our first time in Stratford and Henry House was exactly what we were looking for. Very close to the main core of restaurants and theatre. Brett was super helpful and communicated everything early and often and was very responsive. I had made a special request for an ice bucket with ice and champagne glasses and it was ready to go as we arrived! The front room in the Lake Suite was the best part. We spent lots of time sitting on the sofa and enjoying the views of the river nearby. The bed was large and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a unique experience for their trip to Stratford.

A lovely cozy space, steps from the Tom Patterson theatre. Surprisingly quiet and well thought out for privacy details, given the home is on a busy street. I actually live in Stratford but I used this space as my bridal getting ready suite. The room was charming for photos with the 4-poster bed, sitting area with French doors, and gorgeous woodwork. We also slept here on the wedding night after the reception and the bed was very comfy. Parking is tight but also well thought out. Would highly recommend!

If you\'ve attended the Stratford Festival, chances are that you have walked past this charming cottage on Waterloo street just at the very edge of downtown. The location is basically perfect. It is roughly a 2-minute walk to the Tom Patterson Theatre, perhaps 5 minutes from the Avon and maybe 15 pleasant minutes along the lake to the Festival. It is close to most of Stratford\'s best restaurants. The building itself appears mostly to be a cottage divided in half with two one-bedroom suites. We had the Lakeview Suite, which was very nice and well-decorated. I would note that while, yes, you can see the lake from the porch/sitting area, it\'s not quite on the lake (because, as to the location, the Tom Patterson Theatre is almost next door). The suite itself consists of a bedroom with dramatic 4-poster bed, a private bath, and what appears to be an enclosed porch that serves as the sitting area/office/"kitchenette" area. The kitchenette is mostly a cupboard with microwave oven and coffee machine. In our case, we ate out every night, so we were fine (plus they gave us some very good restaurant suggestions). You are also about 90 seconds from the edge of town, where there are many cafes, restaurants, etc. The communication with the owners is very good and they were highly responsive. This is a good alternative to a hotel, and has comparable amenities to what we might expect at a nice hotel suite, plus the location is great.
