Hotel Riu Gran Canaria - All Inclusive

Fräscht och renligt med flera stora pooler och gott om plats utomhus. Maten är riktigt bra och läget är perfekt vid början av den långa stranden.

Vi bodde endast 1 natt som avslutning på vår honeymoon och fick en uppgradering till svit med egen pool som var otrolig upplevelse, så rekommenderar det varmt. Området ger generösa möjligheter av pool, gym osv. Frukost var bra och restaurang med buffémat var helt OK. Tänk på att ni måste boka de bättre restaurangerna via RIUs app i förväg, vi fick inte bord på Steakhouse.

It was a lovely hotel grounds were kept lovely, rooms were very clean and were kept very clean throughout our stay. Entertainment was good as was the kids club. Great choice of food in the main buffet area but was a little disappointed with the Asian and grill restaurant. Also would have been nice to have had a choice of ice cream around the pool area this wasn’t available in all inclusive. Overall a lovely holiday, nice hotel very friendly staff and so helpful. Would definitely return again.

The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for their guests,everyone we came across was helpful and seemed very happy in their work. The bedrooms are light and airy with plenty of space. There is an all inclusive mini bar in each room which was topped up daily. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless . There are numerous specialty restaurants where the food and wine is top notch,especially the steak restaurant overlooking the sea. The different foods and cuisines in the main restaurant used for breakfast ,lunch and dinner are many and varied. The sports bar is open 24hours ,so drink and food is available 24/7 if you so wish. The theatre where most of the entertainment takes place in the evening is huge and there are plenty of tables and seats for guests. The children are very well catered for with clubs,entertainment,sing a longs and mini disco.The evening shows are very professional and the entertainment team very talented. The pool area is huge with plenty of room,sun beds and shades. There are bars and toilets a plenty and never far away. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good quality holiday with nothing to worrry about.

Hotel was lovely and the entertainment was good. Decent variety of food. Loved the coffee bar.

Great location, great pools and very nice staff that was service minded. The food was good and the selection was reasonable, but only buffets and all resturants except one, had the same food. 2-3 bar areas with good Aperol Sprits but the selection of wines and alcohols could be better.

Amazing Facilities and great customer service

Lyxigt fräscht hotell, flera pooler, uppvärmda till ca 23-26 grader (5-7 jan). Flera sportalternativ och fräsch mat. Utgång till strandpromenad , 20 min till fyren och sanddynerna. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

The place was amazing. We would definitely return in the future. The cleanliness and quality of food and drink were top notch. The grounds and location to the boardwalk were one of the things that completed our trip.

Nice Hotel, however cleaning needs to be improved. I put my towel on the floor to get it replaced as it was dirty. They did just fold it and put it back in the shelf so it looked as it was replaced however it was not. Disgusting.

Property was well maintained. Clean & easy to find all the amenities. Staff very friendly & accommodating.

The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for their guests,everyone we came across was helpful and seemed very happy in their work. The bedrooms are light and airy with plenty of space. There is an all inclusive mini bar in each room which was topped up daily. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless . En general la impresión fue buena, aunq las instalaciones presentaban algunas deficiencias. Los baños necesitan alguna reforma, hay moho en las juntas y algo más

If I could give no stars to this place I would, but the 1 star goes to some of the staff like Sarah who was kind & accommodating. Besides that it was not a positive stay and the food was sub-par. My fiancée had a burn accident with the soup they were serving and ended up with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. They don’t put caution signs or hot labels. No one ever checked on us or tried to help assist when he got burned. They said they only allow staff members to use first aide kits, didnt have a doctor come onsite, & just called us a taxi for the hospital. If he would have had some assistance & cold water immediately we wouldn’t have had a $600 doctor bill! It ruined the rest of our trip because we couldnt do anything in water or excursions. The rooms are basic & have funny smells. The A/C in the rooms dont work well & the shower water fills up over your feet while your showering & the drain takes about 12-15 mins to drain the water out. Oh & when asked to speak with a manager they kept saying he wasn’t available until the very last day right before we were traveling home! Thanks again for your terrible service and treatment. If you’re American, stay away from this place!

Room was clean! Staff was great (only one around 35-40 years woman was all the time rude during eating time! Place was super nice and defenatly I will go back! Only problem was that night time suddenly safety box start to piiping and didn’t stop no matter what we try.. then we called reception and after half hour somebody (nice) person came to fix it. It would be nice that level hotel they would give discount for future staying because it was ruin 2 hours our sleep. But like I said hotel and evening show was super good! Thank you!

Excellent séjour! Hôtel aux petits soins avec ses hôtes. Propreté irréprochable et personnel agréable. Repas variés et de qualité. C’est toujours un plaisir d’y séjourner!

Rooms are very small, Terrible, terrible food.

Room and balcony were extremely small. No iron and no ironing board. Terrible pillows. Way too many insects inside the toom. Coffee machine is only for instant coffee. Staff lied about the restaurant reservations, as we could not go to any restaurants, so all we could eat was just buffet food wich was simply put...horrible! Water in the pools was cold. Cheap drinks. Extremely disappointed. Please stay away from this property.

Das Mobliar in dem Zimmer war beschädigt und nicht mehr im Besten Zustand. Der Rest des Hotels war top

We booked the room with a pool and were very disappointed with the lack of privacy, the walkway was very close and you continually had people staring over to where we were sunbathing! The small sitting room was very basic and sofa not very comfortable! A big issue for us was the glass door on the bathroom, again total lack of Privacy ! Food and entertainment were very good and the staff were very helpful.

Beautiful hotel, everything you need and stunning views.

Love the area Meloneras, been lots of times. Hotel was nice & liked our swim-up pool. However for us the hotel was too big & impersonal. No small cozy quiet areas. Limited wine choice

Very rude restaurant staff

We originally booked this trip as a family vacation but with some last-minute changes, we were able to go away, just me and my husband. We made this decision about 2 weeks before our trip and every time we called the head office of RIU they gave us an incredibly hard time when trying to change the booking (I had paid for last-minute cancellation so it shouldn't have been a problem). They refused to guarantee us that the change could be made meaning we would be paying for our daughter even though she wasn't coming. We were very annoyed but, decided to deal with it when we arrived at the hotel. I am SO SO pleased to say that the hotel staff immediately made the change without any difficulty or questioning or anything. They were so accommodating and made us very happy right away without any hassle. Right away the trip started great, we were very thankful for this save in money. Otherwise, the hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a 4-star so the food was good but not great. The specialty restaurants only offered a few changes in the menu except for their Asian restaurant which was completely different food than the normal buffet and a pleasant suprise. The rooms were clean, bathrooms updated but, beds were not super comfortable but it didn't disrupt us much. The pools were all fantastic, the entertainment was great, super family-oriented, and workouts by the pool and in the pool were fun. Overall a great hotel for the price, I would definitely go back!

The staff is simply incredible. Everyone says Hi when you meet them. This was our second time staying there and was just great!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Anlage ist top gepflegt. Das Buffet ist wirklich sehr reichhaltig und es ist für jeden etwas dabei.

My biggest complaint about the hotel is that there were specific adult only sections and they did not enforce nor were they consistent with the actual adult only section not only were children allowed to stay in the building they were allowed in the Jacuzzi, where it was specifically posted that only adults were allowed in as well as the spa area. The Hotel did have posted signs all over the place, stating where children were allowed to go however, none of the staff actually enforced until they were asked to do so. Also, this hotel is mainly for Nordic country Europeans, and that was made very prevalent multiple times by different staff members when we were question as to why we were there or if we truly were staying at the hotel Lastly, the food in the all inclusive is not worth it, you can get better food outside of the hotel for cheaper prices.

Great experience at the hotel. Service, room, pools, food. Only issue so far were the drinks from the “all included” . They were all pure sugary drinks, was expecting a bit more quality

Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend, Gratulation an das Küchenteam. Auch die Auswahl waren sensationell, sowie die Möglichkeit die unterschiedlichen Restaurants zu nutzen. Wir hatten am Anreise tag ein Zimmer in welchem es sehr streng nach Feuchtigkeit, Moder bzw. Schimmel roch. Nach Meldung wurde zwar das Zimmer gereinigt, jedoch bekam man den Geruch nicht weg. Haben dann am zweiten Tag ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Das ist auch schon das größte Manko, und mMn. ein erhebliches, dass uns aufgefallen ist. Das Personal ist unterschiedlich, von sehr freundlich und super bis hin zu "mir ist alles egal". Wobei dass sehr freundlich vor allem auf die Mitarbeiter in den Bars und Restaurants zutrifft. Bezüglich unseres Zimmerproblems habe ich mich nicht sehr verstanden gefühlt. Die Freizeitmöglichkeiten sind endlos. Wirklich tolle Anlage.
