Homewood Suites by Hilton Davenport

Very nice hotel. Have stayed here before. Always enjoy it. Awesome big breakfast area. Unfortunately the hot tub was closed but the pool felt amazing. Will stay again. Everyone was super nice. Very clean hotel.

There was nobody at check-in when we arrived and there was a nicely printed sign saying staff was helping other guests and would return momentarily. 5 minutes later and with three guests waiting, the host arrived. There was no fitness center (that I saw). Breakfast was excellent compared to standard hotel breakfast buffets.

Everything was great with the room. There was an awful smell in the lobby area and lots of fans like they had some type of water damage. This is still a wonderful place to stay. I will definitely continue to choose Homewood Suites as my home away from home.

The rooms were very clean. I was able to make my family a hot fresh meal for lunch as well as dinner with the stove that’s provided. The dishwasher helped keep our space tidied. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Very family friendly place. We will be returning.

The stay was excellent. The elevators could use a little maintenance as they shudder and mak unusual noises.

We found hairs in one bed and red stains in the other. However, the staff was very accommodating and addressed all of our concerns. The parking was excellent.

We arrived for a Thanksgiving family stay, and while we were treated well, the room was a little, shall we say, not all the way clean. At first glance, everything looked fine, but as my son started to sit down in the office chair, we noticed someone had left a pair of boxer briefs in the chair. The chair was tucked in under the desk, so I'm sure it was not noticed by housekeeping. We picked them up with some paper towels and threw them in the trash, and immediately washed hands. The wallpaper was peeling away at the seams, so the appearance was less than stellar. There was also a film of dust in the shelving in the bathroom. Those were the things we noted from this stay. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and courteous. The pool and hot tub were out of order, so I cannot say how those were. Wish we were given a little discount, as my kids did want to swim during our stay, but there was no discount for that. The overall stay was fine, but I may stay somewhere else next visit to the Quad Cities.

There was another couple walking outside and they looked at me and said, good luck checking in. We waited forever to check in. I tried calling the front desk and still nobody answered. Finally, after the lobby was crowded, someone came in and checked me in. However, I looked over and saw a sign that said the pool was out of order. She said, didn't anyone tell you or call you? I said no. She said that Expedia had a wrong number for me. She asked me if I wanted to cancel, I said and go where? Had I known the pool was down, I wouldn't have stayed here. There wasn't anything that was a deal breaker for me other than the pool but there definitely wasn't anything that was positive for me either. A moderately expensive hotel for the amenities and services that were provided. I probably will choose not to stay here again.

Hotel room was clean and very spacious for our family of 5. It was a pleasant surprise to see the basketball ball court(half court) in the back. The quality of the hoop and court was outstanding.

Upon walking into the lobby, was very spacious and clean. The dining area for breakfast was incredible, so was the breakfast. Our room was great! We loved the space and the bathroom kitchen and family room area was very clean.

Property was well kept and clean

We found a bug which we believe was a bedbug. The Front Desk did not want to call a manager because it was a holiday weekend and said they would take care of it three days after the incident. The room is dirty, and the mattress was stained from the Bugs. This switches to a different room did not help mitigate the problem. We had to take care of it as best as we can on our own.

Best hotel we have stayed in for our 8 day cross country trip! Clean and well staffed!

The hotel needs an update renovation. Our room was worn, with very dirty sofa, moldy shower grout, dirty carpet with visible carpet threads.

My only complaint is that the lighting in the room seems very dim.....everywhere! Otherwise, clean rooms and friendly staff! I'll stop here again if I'm out this way!

Spacious!

This was the last stop on our trip and the most expensive. My expectations were higher due to the price tag. Check in was quick but I was the 2nd person in line at 8pm, a couple were already waiting in front of me. It must have been a couple of minutes b/c they were getting antsy, looking around for someone. Our room was nice at first glance. There was tape on both headboards and chunks taken out of one of the headboards. The corner bead was starting to become exposed along one corner. About an inch from the ceiling, it looked like a string had been pulled from underneath the paint all the way along the top leaving the drywall unfinished looking or even old. The grout in the shower was very discolored from just years of use. When we returned from supper, the lobby smelled horribly of sewage. We took the stairs, it definitely went up to the third floor but seemed better in our room. By the time we were getting into bed, we could smell it in our room. My husband called down to see if the situation was being rectified, the person on the phone was surprised we could smell it on the third floor. The stairwells were open so that definitely could have made the smell come up to our floor. Luckily, my kids had candy so I left the open package next to me so I was able to smell that and fell asleep quickly. The beds were super comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was well appointed and tasted good. I would be hesitant to book a room again but might give it a try again.

The only problems were we had a large American flag outside our window and the weekend was extremely windy so the flag was constantly flapping in the wind. It was loud and made it difficult to fall asleep. Also the toilet was so low it was like going to the bathroom in a childcare place with little children. Being seniors it was very difficult getting down and up on the toilet.

Friendly staff

We really liked our room, but your front desk person was horrible. We checked in on Friday around 4-4:30 and she had an attitude that we couldn’t believe for someone who should be greeting guests. The next morning when we went downstairs for coffee, we could hear her complaining loudly from the back office. Horrible employee.

First time staying and it did not disappoint! The hotel was clean and near shopping areas. The staff was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location with some unique food eateries close by.

We arrived very late. The employee at the desk was great. She ran a pack n play up to our room quickly to make sure we could lay our toddler down who was asleep in the car. The room was as advertised. Spotless, comfortable and just what we needed. The rate was fair, and the entire place looked just like the pictures. The location is good, although you’d have to take a car to dine anywhere that isn’t the hotel.

It was a very nice area.

Overall a nice stay. Some things were kind of stained, but not necessarily dirty. Just stains gave the impression of dirtiness in the room/in the dining area. The staff was great and the location is very good.

Staff is friendly, if you can find them. Breakfast is the exact same each day. Could easily be reheated daily so I question freshness. Not much of a variety for a Hilton. Room was clean: except fridge handle had visible food on it, and there were greasy handprints on the wall next to the sink. Odd. Our heater made a clicking sound that was annoying and the ceiling light would literally turn on at random while sleeping. To be fair, the light had several buttons on it so it could have been operator error on our part.
