The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice the room had a microwave and a refrigerator. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the pool and hot tub, but when we went down to use them, they were closed. There was no mention of the closure when we checked in.

It was just okay. Actually being a Hilton property at the price point it was I was disappointed. Gym broken, ice machine on our fooor broken, pool closed most of the trip, and only 1 person on staff at a time could not keep up with cleaning and demands of the guests by themselves. Breakfast was excellent though

The indoor pool heater was broken so the pool was freezing. Lots of staining found within the room (bed linens, carpet, window coverings). Wouldn’t stay here again.

What a stay. The late night desk person was so cheerful when I checked in very late. She was extra thoughtful in making sure I had everything I needed. The room was very clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Even the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The only problem I had with my stay was that I wished I could have stayed a second night. It was a great stay.

Staff was very friendly. Property exterior and interior was in great shape. Unfortunately, I have literally NEVER been in a room that was SO NASTY in my life. I’m 47 years old, I’ve been staying in hotels since I was elementary age, so 40 years, and the room I stayed in was THE NASTIEST ROOM I have ever stayed in. I have many pictures and videos, and will be contacting the motel directly.

We have always preferred staying in Hampton Inn’s and other Hilton properties. While the room itself was clean, the entryway and bathroom floors were sticky and filthy (could see full size shoe prints). The hallways haven’t been vacuumed in quite some time. I took a wet towel to the floor in the entryway and and washed it…the towel is completely filthy but our shoes aren’t sticking anymore.

I was charged a pet cleaning fee which I nomally wouldn’t mind if I believed the room was truely going to be cleaned when I left. But since it wasn’t clean when I arrived, i doubt they will clean it any different upon my check out. There where dead bugs in the window sill. Carpet had loose debris. Tile was dirty and not moped. Pulled my trash bag out to tie it up before I left and there was old puke in bottom of the can! I won’t be back at this hotel chain.

Easily the dirtiest hotel we have stayed at. The floor in the entry way to our room and bathroom was sticky and filthy…you could literally make out the shoe prints of the last people to walk in the room. I washed the floor. The floor in the breakfast area was almost as sticky. The hallways were in need of a good vacuum. Breakfast staff used foul language when a patron indicated the milk was leaking. Upon check out, no one asked how our stay was. Three staff were smoking outside the frost door when we left. All in all, we would avoid ever staying at this location again.

Took over 30 minutes to check in and we were only ones at counter. Booked a room that holds 5 adults but were given a two queen beds. Provided a dirty cot that was nothing but springs and didn’t even fit in room. After taking to front desk they comped us another room so that we would have two rooms to accommodate our family. Our room was dirty, had half eaten dog treats on floor and the bathroom floor was covered in black hair. My daughter found several black hairs in bed. Couldn’t switch rooms because sold out. Manager was sympathetic at checkout but only offered us 4,000 Hilton points worth about $20. The room was $275 and thankfully we were only spending a night. I’d avoid this hotel if staying in the LaPorte area.

The room was clean, as was the property-it smelled good. The surrounding area/neighborhood appears to be safe. The bed was hard and the pillows seem to be the down-feather kind that you can never get comfortable on no matter how you position them. The breakfast potatoes were good but the rest left something to be desired. The sausage was greasy and didn't taste at all like maple sausage. The hot water was excellent! The furnace/air conditioning unit in the room made a clicking noise that made it difficult to fall asleep-I did forget to tell the front desk about that. I would stay again but ask for different pillows or bring my own.

The walls in this hotel seem paper thin. It is common to hear noise from others rooms in a hotel, but it sounded like a herd of elephants was rooming above us and we could hear every single sound from the bathrooms of the rooms on each side of us. Not pleasant!!!! And the bed was so hard it kept me up most of the night!

Good stay…. But Of no fault of the staff the curtains on the window do not completely close allowing the spotlight across the area to shine in all night. Also we could hear the room above us tenants walk around(thumping) at 4am. Architecture and designer could have done better but overall good place

The front desk lady was incredibly rude at checkin, including beginning to call up and help the family in line behind me before my credit card was even back in my wallet. The bedding in the room was so gross and when we called to ask for fresh (for us to change ourselves) she told me I’d have to wait because they were in the middle of shift change and then hung up. Well, they never came. My husband went down to the front desk over a half hour later (after 10pm at this point) and she said “whoops I forgot” and was down there chatting with other staff members. We will absolutely never be staying here again.

The woman who checked us in was not friendly. She barked orders of needing my driver’s license and credit card. I was already in the process of getting them out of my opened wallet. I felt like I was bothering her. She never smiled or spoke nicely. On arrival to our room, we are not able to turn on the a/c. We call down and she tells us she will come down. She goes to the wall unit and physically bangs on it and yells come on. She rushs pass my elderly mom and starts banging on the wall unit. My mom go up, she did not feel safe next to this women. She tells us we will need to switch rooms. She will bring the new Keyes back. She then calls us to come and get the Keyes. She had 5 guest waiting. O one seemed happy. Beautiful hotel but the service we received marred that for us. We go up

This hotel is in a safe location and the staff were very friendly! Breakfast was also very good, and common areas of the hotel were generally clean. However, the carpeted area in our room was quite dusty, and my dog’s eyes started to get irritated, and we could clearly hear other families’ conversations in adjacent rooms. You really can’t beat the location, though

We were coming from New York and we were using a GPS to find the hotel. It kept taking us to a dead end so we drove all around the area looking and finally had to stop at a gas station who told us it's by the dead end, you need to go through a driveway to detour it. There was no sign to take a detour to reach the hotel! We were dead tired from traveling from New york and finally got there at 3:15 but was told check in is 4:00 and the room was not ready. We mentioned no sign and the girl (Jennifer) who kept eating a snack out of a bag who just shrugged it off saying the sign must have fallen down. (There was no sign when we looked later.) My husband just wanted to put his head down and they just kept saying just another 10 minutes. At 5:15 we got our room. Short of housekeepers we were told. The fitness room was closed. This property and staff were just not up to the standards of your other properties we stayed at. In the end, the manager knocked off $25.00, but money doesn't buy everything! Some if it was beyond their control and most of it was not.

I have stayed every year at least once since it opened and this was our worst experience. Breakfast was still above average, but orange juice was empty. Rug in the room was filthy, room was damp, bathroom floor was dirty, shampoo hanging in the shower was empty, not enough towels and washcloths for the number of guests, room was not cleaned during our stay, mattress and pillows were uncomfortable.

We have been staying at Hampton Inn all over the country. But this one was not up to the normal standard for Hampton Inn. The big problem was the insolation of the flooring. The noise of the room above us was constant. We woke up around 5:00am each day due to the constant noise. The second problem was the breakfast: The orange juice taste awful; The fruits in the platter must be spoiled as it had really bad odor; The yogurt was warm, I don't know how long they had been left out of the refrigerator. We won't go back for sure.

The breakfast was very nice. There was a wide variety each morning. It was nice to have different options each day. It was always perfectly clean and tidy. Well stocked and nothing was ever empty. The person that was in charge of it while we were there was on top of everything. He had a great, friendly personality. Very helpful and kind!

I didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel. We had breakfast in the morning and my son burnt his hand on the waffle maker. Although unique, I wish the waffles were already prepared.
