Very unsafe. Anyone can walk in and get on the elevator without a key or access code giving them access to all rooms. There were leftovers from the previous occupants still in the refrigerator and hair in the shower. The thermostat was very loud when the heat kicked on waking us up about every 30-45 minutes.

We were tired and it was very late when we arrived. Parking was not an issue, which was a pleasant surprise. Staff was friendly and got us right to our room. The beds were super comfortable. I love the kitchenette. The ice maker came in handy.

Property was clean, amazing customer service and good area. The only reason i didnt give it a 5 star was because we stayed in room 117 and we weren't able to sleep at all due to the outside door every time someone came in out it will slam shut so hard that it will shake the walls and a loud noise, we literally hust got up at 4am and left. Other than that everything was fine. Hopefully the hotel staff can fix that door because it was not fun at all.

We reserved a room last minute due to a family emergency. Not only were we pleased with our last minute choice... this place was only 4 minutes away from the hospital, the room was spacious, clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The actual property was very well kept and what we paid was extremely reasonable. We have paid a heckof a lot more for hotels and didn't even get half the comfort, safety, and quality we did with this hotel. This will definitely be our go to hotel next time we are in Amarillo!

A Rare Gem of Genuine Hospitality I stopped at My Place Hotel in Amarillo for the night during a long road trip, and in a world where it often feels like true hospitality is a thing of the past, Susan at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. She greeted us with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care, even remembering my name and room number. That kind of personal attention is rare these days and made a big impression on us after a long day on the road. The next day, after we had already driven over an hour away, we realized my wife had accidentally left a necklace behind. We called the hotel, and Sherry went above and beyond... she personally located the necklace and arranged to have it mailed back to us. That level of service is something you just don’t see often anymore. A huge thank you to both Susan and Sherry for making our stay so positive. It wasn’t just a night at a hotel, it was a reminder that there are still people who care deeply about what they do.

The hotel was very clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a recliner in the room. I liked that it had a blind that could be raised or lowered instead of a curtain that the ac blows open or a curtain that won’t close all the way like in most hotels I’ve stayed at. Would definitely stay at a My Place hotel in the future.

Susan on the front desk is the reason we keep coming back! she makes us welcome every time, she is always happy and helpful and such a lovely person. The hotel is great, very convenient for travelers heading north of Amerillo. Pets are welcome (very important), and there are plenty of dining options a short walk away.

The guy that was on duty when we arrived was not listening to what we were saying and over charged us but we went up and talked to Shara and she credited back our account and charged us the correct amount. They need to retrain the guy that originally checked us in about listening to the customer and Coustmer service.

Disappointing, don't know how it gets a 9 rating. No amenities: no breakfast, no pool, no hot tub. Full kitchen but empty cabinets: nothing to cook with, no plates, no cutlery. Got a plastic spoon from the check-in desk "so they don't all walk off." Cheap TP and coarse facial tissue. Could have stayed at a cheaper place and at least gotten breakfast. PS, having only a frozen breakfast burrito for sale does not count as "breakfast available."
