Holiday World Resort

The staff were superb from reception to, the cleaning staff, to the activity team at pool side. Cannot fault them, fantastic all round. Hotel itself seemed I little run down. Quite a lot of things in disrepair or damaged. For example, the mini golf course is in desperate need of repair. There were cracked windows and boarded up windows. The kids play area outside the kids club was in bad repair. The biggest surprise for us was the amount of extra charges despite us being all inclusive. Most ice creams, drinks, snacks, towel hire, bowling and even two of the restaurants were not included in the "all" inclusive (staying at the Polynesian hotel). Not sure you can call it all inclusive if it's not all included. Overall we did however have a fantastic stay and a really relaxing holiday. Again the staff were superb and really engaged with us and our son. You should be proud of the staff you have there.

Nice place, we came here for the (indoor) pools. But all those are paid. What you see on the pictures is the aqua park, also this is not included in the regular room rate. Be aware for extra costs going there.

Vistades under lågsäsong. Endast en resturang var öppen. Ej uppvärmd pool. Trevlig personal. Trevlig spadel. Maten blev lite enformig efter en vecka men ok. Lite slitet men ok. De har Fåglar i ett atrium mitt i hotellet + fontän som låter så om du vill ha det knäpptyst är detta inte ett hotell för dig. Underbar utsikt.

Lots of hidden charges You have to pay €15 per hour to use indoor swimming pool

Het concept is erg mooi! Heel leuk dat er schildpadden & vogels zijn in het hotel. Water park was dicht ivm laagseizoen (dit stond nergens aangegeven). Het zwembad bij het hotel was ijskoud. Voor een kindvriendelijk hotel was het erg jammer dat de binnen speeltuin/opvang alleen geopend is in het weekend. Mini golfbaan is achterstallig. Lopend buffet was weinig keuze, het meeste was ook koud. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en het animatie team deed het ook leuk! Er waren ook nog andere restaurant en bars maar die heb ik niet open gezien. Kamers werden niet heel goed schoongemaakt. Er was bij ons bijvoorbeeld zand uit de schoenen op de grond gevallen, dit lag er na 3 dagen nog. Voor ons niet nog een keer.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the food was lovely, cleanliness excellent and staff very helpful. The only few thing that lets it down was the pool area, although there was plenty of sun beds they could not be adjusted and a lot of them are saggy in the middle, the pool area is concreted cracked and in places. The out side of the building needs painting. It just needs a little TLC.

Asked for late check out 2pm instead of 12 and charged 48 euro, even though the hotel was probably half full.

Je regrette de ne pas avoir eu notion de cela étant donné que les horaires d’accès aux restaurants ne sont pas les mêmes en fonction des hôtels (des 18h30 chez certains, d’autres pas avant 19h ce qui est important pour les tout petits). Quand vous réservez sur Expedia vous ne pouvez pas choisir l’hôtel et la répartition se fait à votre arrivée. Les horaires des restaurants, shops, structures peuvent varier. Vous avez accès uniquement à l’ensemble des piscines, shop et salle de sport des différents hôtels. (Les salles de sports sont minimalistes.) Pour la restauration qui est vraiment très convenable avec des thématiques de plats différentes chaque jour, vous ne pouvez avoir accès qu’à ceux de votre hôtel (sinon vous devrez payer un supplément pour aller dans les autres structures). Cependant les structures sont toutes spacieuses, accueillantes et propres ! L’ensemble du personnel est adorable et serviable ! Les animateurs sont très enthousiastes et plein d’énergie pour le plus grand bonheur des petits et des grands ! Il existe des navettes gratuites disponibles toutes les 10min sur certains horaires qui passent devant les différents hôtels et permettent d’accéder au parc acquatiques qui est face a HWR.

Very clean hotel, staff went the extra mile, we had a couple of rainy days and the entertainment team made sure the guests were still entertained. Good selection for eating, very fresh and varied each day. Only negative if it even is one, there’s only one table tennis table and you have to go to reception to get bats and ball with an hour slot, tried on a few occasions but was always just missing out! Would make sense with how popular it is with family’s just to install another couple maybe inside? Over very pleased and will be returning.

Dette har nok vært et staselig hotell en gang, men begynner å bære preg av dårlig vedlikehold rundt om kring. Bra størrelse på rommene, men veldig lytt. Maten var bra med godt utvalg. Det som ikke var så bra var at det yrte av rotter i overvanns rennene ved bassengområdet hvor vi til stadighet så rotter som var oppe på området for å finne mat. Det var flere som ga beskjed om dette så vi, men så ikke ut som de tok det så veldig alvorlig. Tror ikke vi velger dette hotellet igjen dessverre.

Room clean, would benefit from having a washing up sponge and washing up liquid to wash coffee cups, just an idea :-) Every area clean. Loved the waterfall feature in the central lobbies. Food was lovely, everyone is so hard working, well done to all. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Really enjoyed

Chambre avec literie très confortable. 2 grands lits pouvant accueillir 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Canapé lit correct, 1 lit de 90. Salle de bain propre avec baignoire et douche. Balcon avec vue partielle mer sinon parking. Propreté de l hôtel. Point negatif est la restauration mais en correlation avec le prix de la chambre qui n est pas élevé. Très moyen mais suffisant pour le petit dejeuner au vu du prix. Spa payant 15e l heure. Piscine exterieure fraîche. Pas profité des terrains sport. Trop loin pour y accéder.

Det var okay, der stod der var to dobbeltsenge og det var der de stod dog sammen ved siden af hinanden. Og madrasserne var hårde som sten så vi endte med at deles om sofaen på skift. Vandet i poolen på hotellet var meget grunset men det på beachklub var virkelig fint. Der var god variationer af mad, sikke en buffet!!

Vi ønskede ikke riwo og valgte det ikke men blev alligevel placeret der, vi har store børn og dette er meget til mindre børn. Vi valgte også værelse med 2 dobbeltsenge, pga børnene, det var to 3/4 i samme værelse så børnene måtte sove på udklappet sovesofa. Vi har rejst meget og aldrig sovet i SÅ hårde senge. Maden og selve hotellet var ellers fint. Men levede slet ikke op til vores forventning. Lokationen af hotellet er også ringe, der skal køres med shuttlebus for at komme op og ned til hottellet.

Likte ikke hotellet stort sett. Rommene var ikke så romslige til å være en suite. Luftkondisjonering og ventilasjon var dårlig. En gammeldags hotell som trenger renovering så fort som mulig. Vi betalte 300 Euro per natt og syntes ikke det var verdt pengene. Finnes mange gode billige alternativer der ute.

Vi valde att uppgradera rummet till pool vy med kvälls sol, Det kostade 30euro per natt och det var det klart värt pengarna. Enda nackdelen är att det finns inga externa restauranger eller affärer på gång avstånd.

Rooms are spacious abd this good as we hsve young children. However, Food was repetitive and cold most of the time! Food tasteless all the time, even the freshly babequed meat or fish had no flavouring, just bland As all-inc we were allowed to have obe dinner at eaither the italianor American restaurant at the hitel, when we attended for our booking, we were treated as if we were cheap skates! Staff has no sense of humour! Sold us an awful bottle of wine, upon tasting the wone tasted cheap and venegary! When we tild him the wine wasnt good, ge rhen admittedhe knew nothing about wines and said he probably shouldn't have recommended. But of course, we had to pay for it. I then went on to order an additional garlic bread as my 2 year old rrally liked it, I was sloken to in a stern voice that i should be aware anything more than one starter, main amd dessert, i had to pay for any extras! I replied that Iwas aware of this and did ge think after paying £9800 fir a 10 day stay, i couldnt afford a piece of garlic bread? It was after this they returbed with a dessert menu but at that point, I just wanted to leave! He probably noticed their service hadnt been great, and offered for us not to pay for the said garlic bread!🙄. The phone is the room wasnt working from day one and after numerous reports it was then that it was finally fixed, 2 days before we departed.! The room walls are paper thin!. We were disturbed until about 330am daily by next door people who were drunk daily.

The rooms were spacious beds were good it was clean.the buffet wss not great breakfast was ok

The apartemento was great with two balconies to the sea and a bathroom with a tube. The breakfast exceeded expectations.

The staff were amazing. One of the best places we have stayed as a family. It catered for everyone. The all-inclusive food was just great as everyone you were spoilt for choice.

The restaurant staff, especially Alberto, were very good. They used to make veggie food twice a day for us. The only problem was that there was a very limited choice. T The restaurant opening times are late. You are not allowed free drinks in the sister hotels even though you have gone all inclusive. The reception staff were also very helpful. Evening entertainment also starts very late at 10pm. Due to this, the audiences were limited.

The resort is perfect for families. The staff are so helpful. I’m vegetarian and asked for an alternative on ‘seafood’ night and within minutes the chef had made me an individual dinner. Highly recommended.

Gut gelegene Hotelanlage, viele Ausflugsziele in der Nähe und einfach und schnell mit dem Taxi und dem Zug zu erreichen.

Fantastiskt bra barnhotell. Rekommenderar att man tar all inclusive då det är långt till restauranger. Vi reste med barn 2 och 4 år gamla och de har haft så roligt!

I'm a seasoned global traveller. Expedia messed up my private shuttles twice, I was travelling with young kids. I booked my own and I'm still waiting for a refund. I spent 4-hours on their chat and phone calls trying to resolve it, no solutions provided. I kept a copy of the chat also, for reference. The flight via Whizz appeared cheap, but isn't, they add £20-£25 to select a seat, normally I wouldn't care but I was travelling with kids, so needed to. Whizz also charged me £90 each way to check-in one bag, scandalous! - book a different flight company. I booked this particular hotel for the kids as it showed lots of water parks, however they were all closed!! This should have been advised in advance. There are 3 or 4 hotels within the same complex and they don't actually tell you the hotel name until you've paid - the photos looked good, which is deliberate mis-selling! I stayed at the Polynesia hotel, and the hotel itself is fine, nice architecture within, however it's facilities were also very very poor. Only one restaurant open, and although I paid for half-board they charge you for your minerals, beers and wine - one should be free min. The one tiny paddling pool is surrounded by smokers, ditto the restaurant, this is not ideal for kids. No other pool for free. It has one indoor paid pool, its £15 for each adult, £12 for each kid, for one hour, its tiny! Food was average, lacked taste, boring, we ate out, much better food locally. You need a car, it's a long way out

Vi är väldigt nöjda med detta boende. Vi hade all inclusive (perfekt när man reser med barn) och god mat från olika delar av världen serverades under veckans tema-kvällar. Detta hotellkomplex består av 3 hotell och vi bodde på det mindre av dem, Riwo - men med gemensam Beach club nere mot havet dit shuttle-bussen gick hela tiden. Antingen kunde man välja det lite lugnare poolområdet vid hotellet eller Beach club:en med fler pooler och vattenrutschbana, men med något stimmigare miljö. Städning av rummen varje dag kändes fräscht. Om vi ändå ska nämna en nackdel med hotellet så var det att solstolarna inte var fällbara, men en petitess i det stora hela.

Stort resort med litt upersonlig preg og noe nedslitt. Bildene er fra alle hotellene på resortet + beach club/badeland, så vanskelig å vite hva du får når du bestiller. Det koster ekstra for f.eks badeland, baderinger til sklie i badeland etc etc… Lurt å ha leiebil hvis du ikke planlegger å være på resortet hele tiden,siden det er et stykke til de nærliggende byene/sentrum. Ellers raskt/lett å komme til fra flyplassen. Renhold tipp topp. Det sier møblert balkong,men det var 2 plastik stoler og et bord (vi hadde leilighet til 4)…

Mycket lurenderier tyvärr. All inclusive är inte riktig All inclusive. Fanns ingen snackbar i beach cluben som det var lovat. Man får bara äta på amämvisade platser i restaurangen. Ingen mat i solen exempelvis. Maten var strax under ok. Funkar men långt ifrån bra. Vatten ingår inte, man får köpa vatten själv. Inga uppvärmda pooler vilket är ett minus. Snålt med tvål, örontops, övriga badrumstillbehör. Ohjälpsam personal men vissa var trevliga!

I stayed here for a few nights in November and absolutely loved it. The room was large and clean. The hotel is very nice. The food was REALLY good! Staff were kind and helpful. There was an issue with adjusting my stay that Expedia tried to help with but the hotel did not respond to which is a shame. But regardless of that, I will definitely return.
