By booking with Expedia, they held a parking spot for me! Booking direct doesn't allow pre-booking for parking and whennwe arrived, rhe car park was full. So very glad we had booked with Expedia to secure a park also! The free breakfast was delicious- a great variety of hot and cold! Comfy bed, great staff, great location!

The room was clean and pleasant but very small. I liked that I could forgo daily room service. The staff were pleasant but sparce. There is a bar in the reception area but it was difficult to tell if it was operating as the whole area had one staff member and they were busy with check ins. Included breakfast was a bonus but lack of a restaurant at night a negative. The only close option was the Coffee Club next door which had a very limited menu. Not having a car made it difficult to reach other venues in the dark. Pleasant enough stay but not as good value as Meriton Apartments for a similar price (except the weekend I stayed, where the Sydney Marathon ensured most venues were well booked and expensive).

Booking had car parking as part of the pkg.BUT when we arrived back after our event there was a sign that parking was full so having it included/ paid was worthless. Staff told us no parking was guaranteed regardless of having it booked and we could have a $5 refund as that was the value in the package and to park wherever we could find a spot on the street.

Stayed here for 2 x nights. Loved the design of the shower especially the door which could be used for the bathroom or shower. I've never seen that before. Breakfast was good, parking excellent. The bed was a bit hard but we did sleep quite well. Check in was easy and really fast. We'll be back.

Was a great stay. Our room was on the first level near the balcony area overlooking entry so it was a little loud but later it quiets down so you won’t be disturbed at all. It’s a nice hotel and I try to stay at IHG hotels whenever I travel.

Our room was very small without enough facilities. The chair was old and broken.the table for putting laptop was too small, that room didn’t have microwave and spoon,just breakfast was Amazing.although it didn’t have cheese, cucumber ond tomato 😊 Also, between the toilet and the shower, there was no door not even a glass door.

The hotel was ok but the room wasn’t that great. The shower holder was broken and the curtains around it (why wouldn’t they install a box?) wasn’t enough to prevent the bathroom from becoming a flooded.

Tv wasn’t working called reception few times nobody bothered to come or compensate anything. Breakfast was cold, burnt scrambled egg. Staff was so unprofessional looks like they don’t even what they are doing. Such a disgusting Holiday Inn Macquarie park. Highly Not recommended to anyone.

Our room was booked with a guarantee of 3pm checkin. On arrival at 3pm we were told they’d let us know when our room was ready. Knowing there was a 3pm guarantee, we checked then and we’re told that they couldn’t give us a time when the room would be ready. They were very busy. As we had a concert to go to by 5pm we insisted they find us a room. We were IHG members and didn’t expect to sit around and wait indefinitely. The staff member swapped our room with one that was ready and we checked in.

If you are looking for a very well priced base for a Sydney trip, this place is a pretty good option. Being close to the Metro is now a big advantage, especially if the price is lower than CBD, North Sydney and Mascot options, as it was for me. It’s a well appointed, clean and standard Holiday Inn.

I am giving only 3 stars because the property doesn't deliver what it promises. Maybe next time I'll mark higher because I'll have adjusted my expectations. I chose this hotel in particular because it said onsite restaurant/dining. This was not accurate. There was a very limited menu and when I asked about the options, I was told "sorry we can't serve food. You'll have to go next door to The Coffee Club". Fair enough, I thought...in my room I saw I could dial 0 to put in a coffee club order so I asked for the menu. "No sorry, you'll have to go over there". I have no problem with there not being food service, I have no problem with having to walk to the Coffee Club (right next door). I do have a problem with a hotel advertising it has facilities that it simply does not have. You make life hard for your staff who have to deal with disgruntled, tired travellers. Update your websites!

room was very cold even after turning AC off and no blankets available and not able to turn AC to heat. No room service available even after being told there was. Was able to order food but had to be done through a separate app and was only a choice of two different pizzas for hot food, then had to go collect it myself, also took a very long time and app was not working properly. No Australian staff to be seen, staff were were difficult to talk to and understand.

We enjoyed our stay at the holiday inn. The facilities were clean, the staff were friendly and catered to our requests promptly. Our only issue was with ordering food- there was not service available (the online ordering portal did not state that there was no service available) so our money was refunded after we paid for it. Apart from this, our time was well spent at the Inn.

The property is greatly located in the safe suburbs of northern Sydney. Very close to 2 great shopping centres This hotel it is what it is…a place to come to and rest after a busy outing in Sydney. However if you are a vegetarian, and you plan to have breakfast …there aren’t much of a selection for eating savoury foods. If you eat eggs then at least on the night I stayed for savoury there was scramble eggs and a roasted tomatoe. If you don’t eat eggs like me, then it was just a roasted tomatoes, luckily there was a big selection of pastry and yoghurt. That’s basically the only small downside. Apart from that it was great for its purpose
