First room wasnt great but then they accommodated us and the second room was really nice. Some rooms have better natural lighting. Service and location is great. There is access to a spa but it is a bit of a walk.

Everything about our stay was amazing. From arranging transportation to packing us a boxed breakfast because we had to leave before the restaurant opened for breakfast. The rooms were beautiful and the air conditioning was plentiful! They had a gorgeous rooftop bar/restaurant where we enjoyed appetizers and drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Rome.

Everything was outstanding. Especially good for ADA, I use a walker and it was most accommodating. Rooftop was beautiful as well. Don’t hesitate!!

It is a gem of a hotel The staff is gracious and welcoming. A shout out here to Vittorio, the ultimate Roman gentleman who will greet you. Breakfast is a great start to the day. Overall, Martis Palace Hotel was a great place to stay for our 5 days in Rome. In terms of the location, you can’t beat it - easy walking access to all major historical sites and attractions, as it’s truly in the center of the city. Their customer service was excellent - was greeted with a smile and helpful attitude every single day, from check in to check out. Their rooftop bar is a best kept secret & an amazing place to watch the sunset over Rome. My only critique is that the walls are very thin - we could hear full conversations of the people staying in the next room over, which dampened our experience a bit. The room overall was very clean and well appointed. Like many hotels in Rome, it did have some visible signs of wear & tear on some of the walls (scuff marks, etc.) but did not impair the functionality of the room. In all, I would absolutely stay here again & am very appreciative of the hospitality we were shown during our stay.

The hot water in the rooms was not hot enough for my wife. The room was tiny. As with most Italian hotels, they don't want you messing with the room thermostat much and put a lock on it that you have to call to get changed.

I love this hotel! The entire staff is friendly and very accommodating . All of them. The beds are fabulous, the linens are perfect, the rooftop terrace is lovely and the restaurant downstairs is not only great for breakfast but great for dinner as well. I very much recommend eating there. Much better than the restaurant down the street! Just a fabulous hotel in size and everything else. I wish I was back there. And oh yes, wonderful showers!

The junior suite was very large and comfortable. The floors were not carpeted, which is what I prefer. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. There was a sofa and two windows, which was great. The bathroom was large and clean. No bathtub. The only recommendation I would make to the hotel would be to improve the breakfast experience. It was very small and not very appetizing.

O primeiro quarto que ficamos era um pouco pequeno, mas a metragem estava claramente descrita no anúncio..foi apenas uma desatenção nossa no momento da reserva. Mesmo assim, ao solicitarmos um upgrade na recepção, ele foi concedido sem nenhum acréscimo de valor, com muita gentileza. Fomos extremamente bem recebidos desde a chegada. A equipe é muito atenciosa, o hotel é aconchegante, acolhedor e transmite uma sensação muito agradável. Tivemos uma experiência muito positiva e confortável durante toda a estadia! Com ctz vale a pena se hospedar nele. Localização ótima tbm!!

This property is nicely located about a mile or so from most attractions in Rome. It is in a great location for eating as there are loads of great restaurants in the area. The best part of this hotel had to be its staff. From the front desk staff that assisted us over the phone after our flight was delayed and we missed our transportation. They assisted in booking trips, getting taxi rides, and making sure we had breakfast to go on days we left early. Through to checkout they made us feel welcome. The restaurant/bar staff was very attentive and helpful offering some local advise of places to check out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying in rome.

Loved the location! Steps away from the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, etc. Twenty minute walk to the Vatican. Great rooftop bar with panoramic views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hope to stay again soon!

We chose this hotel due to location and quality. It certainly delivered. A brief walk to most spots and an inexpensive taxi to Terminie for the train. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes’ walk.

We stayed in the Martis Palace (as well as its sister hotel Hotel Lunetta) during a 5-day stay in Rome before a cruise, as well as an additional night after the cruise. This was a phenomenal experience. The staff was amazingly helpful, friendly, and efficient, and they organized smooth transfers to and from the port and the airport. Over the course of our stay we ended up staying in a few rooms due to our own scheduling problems, and the staff were amazing at helping us work through the logistics. The rooms vary in size with the smallest being quite small, but the larger rooms were really very comfortable and all of them were very clean, well-kept, and felt luxurious. The morning breakfast buffets were truly amazing! We also enjoyed a late-night drink at the rooftop lounge, and it was like something out of a movie. Magical! One final thing to note: the location of Martis Palace (as well as Lunetta) is perfect for visitors who want to explore Rome on foot. You are in the center of everything with so many restaurants, attractions, and beautiful scenes right outside your door.

Excellent location. Excellent air conditioning. We would rate this a 5 star hotel. It's new. It's elegant. Service is wonderful. The rooftop for drinks or dinner is an added bonus. It's quite and only 1 block from the lively Piazza Navona and only a few blocks from the Pantheon and a 10 minute walk to Capitaline Hill (excellent in the evening all lit up) or Trevi fountain.

I love this hotel! The entire staff is friendly and very accommodating . All of them. The beds are fabulous, the linens are perfect, the rooftop terrace is lovely and the restaurant downstairs is not only great for breakfast but great for dinner as well. I very much recommend eating there. Much better than the restaurant down the street! Just a fabulous hotel in size and everything else. I wish I was back there. And oh yes, wonderful showers!

The junior suite was very large and comfortable. The floors were not carpeted, which is what I prefer. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. There was a sofa and two windows, which was great. The bathroom was large and clean. No bathtub. The only recommendation I would make to the hotel would be to improve the breakfast experience. It was very small and not very appetizing.

This was the start of our trip in Rome and they made everything so special for us! They offer private pick up from the airport, and had cappuccinos and pastries ready for us when we arrived. They upgraded our room at no charge, and allowed us to check before 10 am. The room was spotless, great shower, AC, super comfy bed, spacious room ajd bath and modern. We loved it!! The roof deck is a bit small but really amazing to have a cocktail and watch the city lights!! Breakfast is AMAZING!! The best part about this incredible hotel is the staff. They are such awesome hosts and service oriented. Truly a special place! We will be back!

Excellent. Really nice quiet hotel. Recently refurbished. Excellent front staff particularly Carlo and Elysia ( check spelling ). Made excellent recommendations of quality non tourist restaurants in the area. Very comfortable beds and bedroom. Hotel in ideal location to walk to all main attractions. Our room was the smallest available (tight navigating around bed with luggage packed for 11 day cruise) but bathroom was spacious and hotel extremely clean. Nice library where we were offered welcome coffee and snacks that were delicious. The breakfast was scrumptious- lovely buffet available early with many options. Location very convenient to tourist attractions and we were able to catch a shuttle to the cruise port less than a block from the hotel.
