A 5-Star Fraud – Do NOT Stay at Origin Lombok! We left after just one night because the experience was so atrocious, and I feel it’s my duty to warn others to avoid this place at all costs. Below are the nightmare issues we faced: 1. Rodent Infestation – On our first night, we were greeted by the horrific sound of a rat slowly dying in a rat trap in the room. The fact that this was allowed to happen in a so-called "luxury" villa raises serious questions about the cleanliness and hygiene of the property. We were so disturbed by this that we checked out the very next morning. 2. Broken Plumbing – A Health Hazard: The toilet didn’t flush properly, and the shower didn’t drain at all, leaving the bathroom floor flooded after every use. This turned the bathroom into a slip-and-slide hazard. It was unhygienic, uncomfortable, and dangerous. 3. Coercion to Sign a Silencing Agreement: A partial refund was offered BUT only if a silencing agreement was signed. The refund was withdrawn when I refused to sign. This was a blatant attempt to silence genuine customer feedback.

Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend This hotel was by far the worst of the five we stayed at during our time in Bali. We booked a deluxe pool room, but instead of a nice pool view, we were stuck looking at an unused, dirty pool. While they did have another pool that was in better condition, it felt frustrating to have been placed in a room overlooking such an unappealing sight. There were multiple issues throughout our stay. Our check-in was delayed by 30 minutes, and the room quality was very basic, with a run-down bathroom that was far from acceptable. For a hotel with high reviews, the poor room and bathroom conditions were shocking. The service was equally disappointing. We ordered food and drinks, but the drinks were forgotten, and when I raised this, there was no follow-up. The assistant initially offered to waive our lunch bill as an apology for the issues, but later changed it to drinks only. At checkout, I was surprised to see that I was still being charged for the drinks, and it took them another 5 minutes to sort it out after I questioned the bill. To add to the confusion, I was told one price for a taxi to the airport, but when we checked out, the hotel charged me a lower price. I questioned this, and they insisted it was correct. However, during the ride to the airport, the driver received a phone call saying we had underpaid. This was very frustrating, especially since the confusion was entirely on the hotel's end. Overall, the service was poor

Our experience at this place was terrible. Dont be fooled by the nice pool. The rooms are a not a nice and pleasant place to sleep at all. First of all they are not well maintained, full of humidity and insects everywhere, you can tell they haven't had a proper maintenance since they where build. But the worst thing was that the room was not properly cleaned and sanitized. In the shower there are some small pebbles placed on the floor that are full of hairs and dust, honestly disgusting. But the worst thing for us was that the WC is inside the shower!!! they dont show this on the pictures, you think you are paying for hotel accommodation but this is like hostel for a 20 year old. There is no direct line to call to reception, you just need to WhatsApp them which they never reply. I am still waiting for the manager to reply hahah its incredible, in any hotel if a guest complains the manager is the first one to come to try to solve the situation. The staff is not nice AT ALL, there was always a NO coming out as a reply (we had got used to Bali where people are extremely nice). We had payed for 5 nights and we stayed only one, we ended up leaving the next day. And again, nobody even tried to apologize or cared at all that we were not having a good experience. It would be an understatement to say I dont recommend anyone this place to stay.

We had a beautiful stay at the Origin Lombok. The pool area was stunning and felt Tranquil and idilyic. There were great food options and was to a high standard. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is a 10minute drive to the main town, the reception team were on hand to order us taxi’s. Would reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Lombok.
