Architecture is really on another level, the property is gorgeous and magnificent. People who want to be on the gram can do so all day. Staff are very well-trained, polite and truly there to enhance your stay. Pool was very well designed, the U-shaped nooks let you have privacy at the large pool and made it feel like pools within a pool. The water slides were fun for kids and adults alike. Villa lounge for villas was great, easy check-in and gave you a bit of exclusivity. Gym was very expansive with views.

Very grand and impressive. Great selection of restaurants, a gym, and other facilities. The staff are extremely friendly, and the spa was excellent. However, I have to admit that the hotel feels too big. What tends to disappear when hotels become this large is the feeling of being unique as a guest.

I had an amazing experience at The Apurva Kempinski Bali resort. The staff were always available to address any questions or needs that arose. The food options were plentiful and delicious, with 8 different restaurants catering to every traveler's palate. We enjoyed complimentary happy hour at the Pala Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, watching the sunset while savoring drinks and tapas. Our dinners at Bai Yun Hotpot and Reef Beach Club were excellent, and we also had an 8-course lunch at the resort's crown jewel restaurant, Koral Restaurant, which offers Bali's first aquarium dining experience. The Apurva Spa was top-tier as well. My wife and I booked a couples massage overlooking the beach, and it provided a great way to relax and reset. What an amazing resort! This was the most visually stunning resort we’ve ever seen. And we have been to many. Amazing food quality, and extremely helpful, friendly staff. Balinese hospitality at its fullest. From the underwater restaurant, to the pools and beach club, that had a DJ every afternoon till night time. It’s a very large resort with many guests, including those that come for the day, or to the restaurants. Special shout out the staff at the Reef club and restaurant.

I can admit, things did not start well upon arrival and registration at the hotel, however after a conversation with the Duty Manager (Niati), our stay at The Apurva started to look more promising, so I am very grateful to him. The hotel is a huge resort; stunning and the lobby itself is impressive. Breakfast is amazing; so many choices! The rooms are a generous size; the furnishings are elegant, and the bed is cloud, super comfy. The bathroom facilities are also a delight; spacious oozes luxury and very clean. There are so many highlights to this hotel that other reviews will point to, but let me touch on the downsides. First off, it is best to be aware this hotel has a wave breaker which aesthetically is horrid, but it allows for safe kayaking (but I don't recall seeing a vast amount of people wanting to kayak). So that dreamy sandy beach, open water view is non existent. Secondly, the food offered at the Reef (beach) or Kubu (pool) restaurants/bars are at best average. Lastly, and this is the worst part. The beach attached to the Kempinski is public! So public, that even non-guests can make use of the cabanas, day beds, loungers, and bean bags with no priority given to hotel guests. You can easily forget you're at a luxury brand hotel. They have a smaller pool near Reef Bar, which should be an adults-only pool. The kids pool and larger resort pool are accessible to all children, so why they need to be at the Reef Bar pool, makes no sense.

The villa two bedroom was amazing- comfortable and luxurious. The included breakfast and tea time was very good and the service and attention of staff amazing. BUT!! there were two major downfalls- the beach in front of the hotel was not nice. Due to a manmade barrier, the majority of the day the water of the beach receded and you could not swim or even have any beach water. The second major fault was that if you have a camera, you cannot use it on hotel property or the beach front! You are allowed to use a phone video or camera, but not a physical camera. This is the only hotel in the world we could find such restrictions. In order for us to take nice family pictures, we had to walk to the public beach next door. Completely ridiculous!

The view from the lobby is stunning. Superb facilities and room. Great service. Very good breakfast with enormous selection. The beach is nice and well-kept. Big main pool and nice infinity pool by the beach. One thing to note is that the hotel is so big that can be perceived as bit impersonal.

The staffs are friendly and helpful, but the room or the architecture has its problems. Sadly, it was not a good experience for me especially when you are paying for the luxurious experience. Try to avoid the Lagoon View Room on the first floor. - The AC didn’t work in the room. It was too cold and no way to change the temperature at the beginning. Then the hotel sent a technician to fix it. However, we couldn’t turn the temperature down after the “fix”. So it was humid and hot. - The entire room smell moldy, and the pillows and beddings were all humid the entire time. It’s such as bad feeling living in a not dry room for multiple days. - After another 5-10 more phone calls back and forth, the hotel said they could show me another room. Sadly, the other room, which is the same room type, has the same issue. And it was already midnight. I really wanted to rest. I kinda know that all the lagoon rooms on the first floor might have the same issues. - Then the second day, I said that I want to change a room type. They showed me a junior suite room with a private pool in a side building, not in the main nice building. The room is actually worse even though it has a small pool. It looks like a sad studio apartment with a pool that is tiny, no greens nor shades outside. I decided to stay at the old room. I was so tired for this 2- day hassle at that moment. I was only there for 5 days. I just wanted to relax. - The hotel staff provided us a free breakfast voucher and some shampoos

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and the hotel certainly lives up to many aspects of a 5-star experience. The facilities are beautiful, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were excellent for families. However, there were a couple of disappointing issues that are important to mention. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the kids’ club was not up to the standard we would expect from a luxury hotel. Shortly after attending, my daughter contracted hand, foot and mouth disease, which was extremely upsetting and impacted the remainder of our holiday. Greater hygiene measures and monitoring in this area would be strongly recommended. Additionally, the noise level in the bedrooms from outside areas was quite noticeable, particularly at night, which made it difficult to rest comfortably. Improved soundproofing would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. Despite these concerns, we did enjoy many aspects of our stay and hope the hotel addresses these issues, as it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

Area has development around noise all day next door hotel being built. Can hear noise in corridor in morning and night not peaceful. Breakfast was good but too busy, on last day waited 45mins for eggs and order came cold. We stayed at Jumeriah Bali as well this was a true 5* so if you plan to relax and do nothing this is perfect location with brilliant service. Apurva the pictures and structure is good but don’t let that mislead you to booking a lot of other better hotels. You feel like a number at this hotel not personalised at all.

Room = Spectacular layout and furnishings. Ocean front suite with own infinity pool was perfect layout for 3 of us. Service = hit and miss for a kempinski. We’ve stayed in Kempinski Dubai and Bangkok where service is superior. Lady in red is more active and you also get butlers in the high end suites. The lady in red here panick about my request for keys and interupt the highlight of the stay dinner at Koral restaurant in the aquarium tunnel. Also room service and bell boy slow and room service food basic at best. Major issue was them dismantling a wedding marquee with hammers and waking us up at 4am. Very apologetic but offered us a mere free upgrade next time when we lost hours of sleep. It is crazy to knock down a marquee in a 5 star hotel at 4am while all your guests are sleeping and paying a premium to do so!

What did we like? We were staying at the Ocean View Junior Suite. The best thing about the suite was of being spacious, clean and artistic. It can accommodate an extra bed easily. All beds, including the extra bed, were comfortable too. The bathroom has a double vanity with separated toilet and shower. The bathtub was facing the ocean. The shower had three options: fixed rain shower, shower head with hose and side shower heads. The toilet was automatic with heated seat and bidet. The pool was also facing the ocean. The food at Apurva was also amazing - we tried the breakfast buffet, in-room dining and afternoon tea. They all had great taste and options. Unfortunately we weren’t able to try the famous aquarium dining because it was fully booked. We we didn’t like? The bathtub was too shallow and the edge is too sharp - it’s a safety hazard. You need to be extra careful when using it. We asked for a non-smoking area, but our suite was next to their smoking area near the lobby. We had to close our doors often to avoid the smoke penetrating to the room. The entire atmosphere was a bit gloomy and scary because of the dark tone. They could’ve added more lightnings to help make it more comfortable. We had to wait for our room, even after the 3 pm check in time. But, we could wait in their lounge offering free coffee and tea.

There’s not much sightseeing in the area but the hotel itself is grand and beautiful. We stayed in a 2 story villa and when we arrived they did not know what they were doing. We had to walk back and forth between two different hosts for one of them to find out that our check in was way on the opposite side of where we were. There seemed to be a communication issue among them. It was not a 5 star first impression. The suites were nice, apparently Obama and Elon Musk had stayed in the villas so they are fully stocked and comfortable. We had lunch at the aquarium restaurant it was lovely and the view spectacular. The sushi restaurant overlooking the entire property on the top floor is wonderful too. Room service was excellent. The pools were a bit dirty but our private pool was pristine and perfect for a dip. Overall I thought the Apurva left a grandiose impression but their hospitality lacked the warmth and professionalism of a Four Seasons. The bell team was especially great. View is nice but we enjoyed other parts of Bali much more.

We had an excellent stay at the Apurva. The hotel is huge, lavish and with an exceptional staff. Nice swim out from the lagoon rooms and shuttle service to the beach even though the walk was short. Good food and drinks and prices to match. Pool and beach area is well maintained and never any shortage of chairs and beds. Recommended to everyone after a luxurious experience before exploring the rest of Bali

Luxurious hotel with superb facilities and services. Location is isolated as expected for hotel at this level, everything can be done in the hotel with the price. Nice and big room with bathtub and bidet toilet. Food is excellent, love the crispy duck. Love the idea about "departure lounge" where we can use the hotel facilities while waiting for plane as an alternative for "late check out" which mostly only for 1 hr. Definitely will be back.

Amazing resort with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are large and immaculate. Excellent variety of restaurants. The entrance/lobby is extraordinary and views from the lobby exceptional. If you want to travel to Seminyak for a change of scenery be prepared for a 80 to 90 minute taxi ride. Not the resorts fault, traffic is horrible in Bali. And our taxi to the airport normally takes 30 minutes. Actually took 3 hours. Horrible. But again the resort is brilliant

Beautiful hotel, amazing food inside the hotel but not close to outdoor restaurants etc… Great if you just stay in the resort

Servicepersonalen förtjänar en extra stjärna. Så trevliga och tillmötesgående varje gång de stöter på en. Rummet var väldigt fräscht och vi kände aldrig att vi saknade något. Sköna poolområden, strålande upplevelse på coral. Man kan inte göra så mycket utanför hotellet men för oss gjorde det ingenting utan det var bara sol och bad för oss. Det enda dåliga är att folk kommer och paxar solstolar från morgonen sen tar de sin tid för att gå bada medan andra väntar tålmodigt.

一応バリコレクションまでの送迎が出ていますが、それ以外に行くのにはGrabが必要で他の場所よりも距離がありコストがかかる印象です。大人も使えるようなプールの滑り台などがあるといいなと思いました。

Le lobby est impressionnant, l’hôtel est récent ,la chambre accès piscine est propre simplement le service des restaurants est à revoir, le koral est jolie mais la nourriture à revoir comme le petit déjeuner trop d’attente !

Overall excellent the restaurants are the highlight of the stay. The breakfast buffet though is soso. The age of the hotel is showing so it needs a renovation badly

The hotel was gorgeous. The staff was amazing from check in to check out. Loved our room with private pool. Everyone was so friendly. Had great meals at Izakaya. Enjoyed afternoon tea. Breakfast staff was wonderful. An overall exceptional stay!

Luxurious hotel with superb facilities and services. Location is isolated as expected for hotel at this level, everything can be done in the hotel with the price. Nice and big room with bathtub and bidet toilet. Food is excellent, love the crispy duck. Love the idea about "departure lounge" where we can use the hotel facilities while waiting for plane as an alternative for "late check out" which mostly only for 1 hr. Definitely will be back.

I had an amazing experience at The Apurva Kempinski Bali resort. The resort's architecture was designed to resemble a temple, providing beautiful 360-degree waterfront views of the beach from most locations. This 5-star resort excelled in all areas. The staff delivered the best customer service I have ever experienced at any resort. They cleaned our suite twice a day and left local desserts for us to enjoy. The staff were always available to address any questions or needs that arose. The food options were plentiful and delicious, with 8 different restaurants catering to every traveler's palate. The complimentary breakfast was more like brunch, with breakfast and lunch options available from 6:30 am to 12 pm. We enjoyed complimentary happy hour at the Pala Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, watching the sunset while savoring drinks and tapas. Our dinners at Bai Yun Hotpot and Reef Beach Club were excellent, and we also had an 8-course lunch at the resort's crown jewel restaurant, Koral Restaurant, which offers Bali's first aquarium dining experience. The Apurva Spa was top-tier as well. My wife and I booked a couples massage overlooking the beach, and it provided a great way to relax and reset. Once again, the staff were attentive to all our needs. If you have the chance to visit Bali, I highly recommend staying at The Apurva Kempinski Bali resort!
