I stayed at this hotel for two nights and highly recommend it because of its excellent location with stunning views of the river and bridges: there is a cable car that takes you to the city center, and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with beautiful views.

Knowledgeable & friendly front desk staff available 24/7. Beautiful location along the riverfront within 5 minute walking distance to town. Rooftop bar is closed but the patio is still open for seating with amazing views.

Everything was great except for the breakfast room. The sun was bright, pouring into the room with few blinds. It was hard to enjoy breakfast with the sun shining into your face . The last day we realized we could have had our breakfast in the bar area, there were a lot of tables and a German couple was in there in the shade . The roof top bar get crowded but has a great bar tender, he made me a Little Havana Sangria.

Et fantastisk ophold ❣️ Skønt stort lyst værelse med udsigt direkte til floden og broerne. Super god beliggenhed i gåafstand til den gamle bydel af Porto og samtidig nemt at gå over broen til Gaia-området. Dejlig stor og komfortabel seng. Rent alle steder på værelse og hotel. Lækker velassorteret morgenmadsbuffet - også med lokale produkter. Søde og imødekommende personaler. Helt igennem anbefalesværdigt.

Great location along River, central to both Porto and VdG port houses. Lots of restaurants nearby, and within walking distance (15-20 min) from many areas of interest. River view room was total value - food was mediocre and updates to room where aesthetic only, as unfortunately mold was already growing in bathroom.

Five Stars!! Clean, modern, spacious bathroom & sleeping area, beds comfy which is hard to find in Portugal, balcony and roof top view amazing, friendly staff. Location close enough to walk yet quiet for sleeping. Parking garage a plus in Porto. Will come back and stay again. Highly recommend.

직원분들이 다들 친절하고 호텔방에서 바라보는 도루강 뷰가 너무 예쁩니다. 비수기라 그런지 룸 업그레이드도 해줘서 더 선물같은 여행이었네요^^ 아파트먼트 스타일 룸이었는데 아직 식기류나 조리도구는 좀 부족했던 것 같습니다. 나중에 또 포르투 오게 된다면 꼭 다시 가고 싶네요.

Eurostar is a beautiful property in a convenient location with a wonderful buffet breakfast. Our issue with the hotel is that Your room key is required to remain in the holder at the door in order for anything electrical in the room to operate! That means, everything in the mini fridge is at room temp usually. Most importantly is also means that if you are sightseeing all day and have your only key with you , your room will be very hot and then if you go out for dinner, again taking your key, your room does not have time to cool down and will be very uncomfortable most of the night!!! The AC in our room was awful! Also, pillows were terrible and the in room coffee is instant, which is unheard of almost everywhere! Eurostar, you are a nice hotel and can do better than this!!!! The electric situation spoiled it for us! I will not be able to stay with you again for that reason!

Great location along the Douro. Easy access to the Riberia area of Porto as well as Gaia. Stoingnsmell of cleaner/bleach in the hallways. Hallway carpets were worn. Great roof top bar with a river view!

Hotel was disappointing. Very small room with scuffed up walls. Our river view on the fourth floor was a concrete wall you needed to peer over. Bed not very comfortable and water not provided. Have to buy water or get it from the bathroom sink. No coffee maker in room, only a kettle, and most days the tea or instant coffee was not replenished. Location not great- nothing around the hotel if you need to grab a coffee or snack.

É ruim. Quando chegar nao espere que alguem pegue ou ajude com as malas. Nao existe funcionario para isso. Nem para levar suas malas no meu caso 8 malas. Os emails antes de chegar a propriedade foram rudes. Ao chegar somente 1 pessoa para fazer check in. Fila. Espera de 40 minutos. Os dado da reserva estavam todos errados na reserva do hotel. Cafe da manha quase sem opcoes.

The staff was very helpful. We did not like our first room, so they changed us to a better room. Bartender and waitstaff were very nice. Great location away from the crowds but close to get to both the historic district and across the river to the port wine makers.

this hotel has a hidden gem. if you want good service, a smile and extra effort to make your stay very pleasant you must see Jasmine at the front desk. Her recommendations were on point. She went out of her way to contact us acting as a concierge for the hotel, although probably not paid as a concierge. whatever we needed she was there to help it. She took a day off and it was not a good experience, but she was back the next day to make it all better. As far as the hotel, it was pretty nice. the food was OK and the place was clean and spacious easy walk to all the bridges and tourist things. Port tasting and great food I must say watch out for the cobblestone streets. They have a lot of potholes as I hit one and fell on my knee and face.

This hotel is amazing and in a perfect location. Upon arrival we were offered a free upgrade with a side view of the river. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with places to go and suggestions for the amount of time we had to explore. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. I certainly would stay here again. Our rental car was safely parked in the garage as well.

This was a beautiful hotel with a kind and very attentive staff. Breakfast was superb and location was magical. And one day, after I had asked that the maid only do the bathroom (but she ended up doing the bed too as well as my clothes…which I didn’t want), the staff sent me a bottle of their amazing Port wine and delicious nata desserts as an apology. I loved this hotel!

The hotel is in an excellent location with excellent views of the river and the famous Louis I bridge. The rooms were large and bathroom good. The staff were very helpful. Although the street outside can be noisy at times, the rooms were soundproof. Some people with limited money may have problems walking to the city centre. There is a funicular for those wishing to avoid the steps up to the upper tier of the bridge and cathedral area.

I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be near the Ponte Louis 1 bridge and walking distance to a multitude of shops, restaurants, and port wine cellars. It’s near everything (about a 5 minute walk to the bridge) but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quiet and peaceful for sleeping (even with the window opened). The staff we encountered were all pleasant, professional, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable; our river view room did provide an exceptional view. The breakfast selection was extensive and the dining space was beautiful as well. I only have two tiny suggestions for improvement: better lighting in the bathroom, especially over the magnifying makeup mirror; a hairdryer that does not require constant application of pressure on the power button.

This hotel was nice and in a beautiful location. We were able to walk to the main attractions in Porto and had a beautiful view. The breakfast was just ok and very crowded so we actually skipped it 2 mornings. Ive never had worse coffee in Portugal either. The elevator is slow and tiny. Overall a good experience.

La chambre et la salle de baintrès sont très belles, spacieuses et bien équipées. La vue sur le Douro et le pont Eiffel de la chambre est magnifique. Le personnel est très gentil et très serviable.
