Limited parking, and expensive parking at that - if you can get it. Clearly isn’t prioritised for guests. Nice, new and modern hotel. Clean and good amenities in the room. Uncomfortable beds. But most of all, it has 4 elevators that go ALL night and they howl loudly through the elevator shaft all through the night.

House cleaning is terrible I didn’t even get a fresh set of linen and I stayed for 10 nights. On a positive note the front desk staff are wonderful and friendly and the pool and gym are great.

Place is located in the north of Sydney and close to the Harbor Bridge. My stay was due to elections taking place in my home country and the consulate being located nearby. Place is really nice and you have plenty of restaurants nearby also a supermarket within walking distance. Bed and other amenities was very comfy. The only downside was the lack of parking on site. Had to park some distance from the Hotel due to their parking garage being fully occupied.

The staff were pleasant and able to answer any questions we had. So close to North Sydney train station, it was fantastic. We used the spa and pool, they were very well maintained. Great stay, we will be back

Great location, well maintained building. I can see the Opera House from my room. Generally I had a good stay but there are a few minor issues that I shouldn’t have to deal with at this price point: - one time reception told Uber Eats that they can’t hold my food for me. The Uber Eats guy put the food outside the building instead. Not sure who is at fault here but just really weird IMO - elevator is sometimes buggy and sometimes out of order - my blanket has a yellow spot that I didn’t notice for a few days

The property was nice but when the cleaning people came in to clean they did not sweep the floors or pick the crumbs off the counters When we went to use the microwave it started smoking. If they could fix these two things it would have been a perfect stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodation was beautifully clean and more spacious than shown in the pictures. The pool was in excellent condition and stays open until 10pm which was a great bonus, especially if you have kids. The location was so close to the city with Ubers being speedily available and the ferry is also very convenient. We will stay again!

Staff were very helpful and friendly although when I checked in noticed main television wasn’t working, blinds bent and hard to shut and long black bars through the entire apartment and bathroom, the floors had not been vacuumed, also 2 of the elevators were not working and the wifi was broker for several hours

The room needed to be thoroughly cleaned again. The balcony was full of cobwebbs and the lounge chair and lamps were very dusty The staff were very efficient is putting things right.

Booking platforms misrepresent views of single bed rooms non existent. Rooms poorly maintained, mould in shower and overall rundown and not clean. Hotel staff moved us to a room more aligned with our booking expectations only to have a further issue toward the evening with a noise issue with air conditioner and had to be moved a second time. Frankly we lost 2 nights of stress free sleep only to have Meriton compensate us with late check out, that we couldn’t take advantage of due to our early flight out of Sydney. Our overall experience was ruined and Meriton have a lot to answer for and would not recommend them to friends or family or any travellers through Sydney. I more than happy to share photos as proof.

Nice comfortable bed, location great, amazing views,staff nice to deal with. Overall though we were disappointed with the room, not really like on the website. Lots of aspects needed a makeover particularly the bathroom. After one night we had to call for maintenance... glass shower doors wobbly, shower head broken, door squeaked and had water damage on one side which looked terrible. Curtains and couch grubby. We were offered another room but once the shower had been fixed we persevered with staying and we were there 6 nights!

The lifts were very slow despite there being 4 lifts. One of them was out of order and the cleaners appeared to lock one of them and continued to use the others. This meant long wait it times and crammed lifts. The rooms were barely ever cleaned. We stayed for 12 days and only had our room cleaned once and attended to twice. It was a good location, close to train station and shopping center, but ordering Uber or taxi could be difficult since the location is not set yet on the apps or maps.

Spent 3 nights in a one bedroom Harbour View Suite. That view is one of the best views I have seen in my life, it was just as beautiful as an ocean view of waikiki beach or a strip view in Las Vegas. The floor to ceiling windows really allow you to appreciate the view during all times of the day.

There was no view from the balcony but an alley, not what I was expecting. The whole reason I booked them is because I thought I would have a view of the harbor, but I was told at check in those rooms were not available and cost more. I thought that is what I booked, so pretty disappointed in that. Also had to leave windows open to cool the place down.

We had stayed here before in 2019 and loved it but our visit this time wasn’t so good. While the apartment was still good- spacious, comfortable and well equipped- right outside the hotel is a massive roadworks site . This is operating 24 hours a day and was incredibly noisy. We weren’t overlooking it but it was still far too loud to sit outside on the balcony and you could hear it in the night . Whilst there is nothing the hotel can do about this I feel they should have informed us before our visit and perhaps offered a discount/ free extras as a gesture of goodwill. Staff were not very friendly and helpful- definitely a decline from 2019.

Anna and her team at the Meriton North Sydney made us feel like celebrities! Upgraded our room and gave us a balcony too… and arranged a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our 20 years of marriage! Pool was pristine and the staff at reception were only too happy to call the local cab service when Uber let us down… we made it to the restaurant in Darling Harbour with 2 minutes to spare. The secure underground car park was only just ok height wise for our Toyota Fortuner but eased our minds to know it was safe.

I parked downstairs in the Meriton parking and upon going upstairs to checkin the concierge rather rudely stated we cannot park downstairs and we can either risk parking on the street and getting a fine or parking a 3 minute drive up the road and paying $35. When questioned why he could not provide an accurate answer but was nice enough to let us check in and dump our bags in the room prior to making us leave to go move the car in 37 degree weather then making us walk 5 mins back in the exact same heat. Once we got to our room he I went to put food in the fridge only to get. Bad stench of what seemed like food going off. I couldn’t put my own food in there till I had to call someone to come and clean it up. I’ve stayed at numerous meritons before and can with absolutely certainty say this was the worst. Wouldn’t recommend swimming in their pool either.

Great experience. The staff at the reception desk was always available for any assistance you might have needed. Beautiful apartment building. Good location but not walkable to Circular Quay. Train is 3 minutes walk and very easy to use and can take you all over Sydney.
