I would not recommend this property. This place is not what it seems in the images. We knew that it was a B&B and were not expecting a multi-star property. The property did not have a first-floor public-facing reception; instead, we had to call a number that was left in the hotels.com messages to gain access. I received the message the morning of our reservation and did not see it until we arrived. We called, and immediately Giulia began to berate me for not following "her rules". I apologized, yet she was continually rude and unhospitable. As with other properties, we thought we could drop off our bags early and return when the room was ready. She didn't like that and said she had to quickly prepare the room, all the while huffing and sighing while throwing dirty towels on the ground near where my kid was sitting. As we began the check-in process, she continued with her abusive attitude to the point that we felt uncomfortable and decided that we could not continue with the reservation. She complained about Hotels.com, called them, berating us and outright lying to the agent. She said she was canceling our reservation, so we left. Giulia then told Hotels.com that we still had to pay, even though she canceled. Hotels.com agents were helpful, although initially they were not going to credit us; yet in the end, after multiple discussions, they did. All of this set us back 3 hours as we scrambled to find another place to stay.

The location is perfect, walking distance to most attractions, amazing restaurants and dessert places. The room was 10/10 for cleanliness and the lovely hostess Gulia made sure we had clean towels, sheets and the bathroom was cleaned daily. Gulia was extremely helpful and recommended sites and restaurants to visit. Overall such a lovely experience thank you, will definitely book with you again next time we’re in Rome!

Stayed 4 nights
