Everything about the hotel was excellent- Hampton Inns are wonderfully consistent in their quality. My only complaint is that sound proofing could be improved. The interior sounds are loud. Also the hotel is on a main road and the sounds from the road outside are loud all night long. We could hear the people above us stomping as well as people in the rooms next to us. We appreciated the shuttle to Busch gardens so much! The parking lot is also inadequate. We ended up having to use our handicap decal to park as there were no other options left to park.

The staff (especially Pam!) were wonderful. Room was clean. There is traffic noise, but watching the fireworks from BG out our window more than made up for it. Unfortunately, they just changed the shuttle schedule from daily to only on the weekend. One of our stays was during the week, so we missed out. The next part of our stay was a Sunday, so we had great service on the shuttle. Only downside for this trip was we had paid for the largest suite that accommodates a cot. I was assured prior to check-in and at check-in it was ready for us. When we got to the room, no cot. We were told somebody must have put the cot in a smaller room, which they aren't supposed to do, which meant they didn't have one for us. We had a couch, so it was a huge issue. We just prefer a cot, and had paid extra for the room that accommodates this.

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was clean, well-equipped, and a great size. Good breakfast selection that included eggs, meat, waffles, oatmeal, etc. Comfy bed with squishy pillows. Small but decent gym. Location was a bit sketchy, but security was implemented by requiring use of room keys to move about in elevators and other hotel doors. The only negative was the road noise from the room being on the highway side.

I've stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns and continue to do so because they are always clean. This one wasn't. The sheets on the pull-out sofa bed were dirty with crumbs and other debris. The towel hook in the bathroom was falling off the wall and there was rust all around the sliding closet door near the bathroom. I paid over $250 per night for this room, and I had to request fresh sheets for the pull-out bed. On the flipside, the staff at the front desk were great.

Unfortunately, I chose to sleep in this hotel, but I never imagined that in the middle of the night I would have cockroaches in my bed. And not just one, but a lot, I was bitten all over my body while sleeping. I recommend that you do not come to this hotel. In the middle of the night I had to move to another room, which I would not have slept in if I had no choice. The manager, Angela Garcia, was not interested at all, was really indifferent, and did not apologize at all, and only after talking to Expedia did I receive a refund for one night. Just be careful when approaching this hotel!

The check in desk was very nice. Room was fine until…. We were there visiting Moffitt Clinic and I had laid out middle of the night medication. When I got up to give my husband his, there were 5 roaches scampering away! Breakfast the next morning was adequate. Scrambled eggs, link sausage cut into rounds. Canned gravy and bisquits. Waffle maker, toaster, good assortment of breakfast muffins. Juice and coffee. Yogurt and bananas and oranges. It was just hard to put the roaches out of my mind while eating. Will not be staying there again.

There are no bags in the trash cans on the rooms!! We asked the front desk for bags and she even mentioned that, yes the cleaning staff does not put bags in the trash!!!, also room smelled like mold, the ac temp is set to 64, if you set the temp any higher the smell gets worse!!!!

Check in was quick and the representative was courteous and kind. Our room was spotless and very nice. Had everything we could want! The bed was super comfortable! Breakfast was great and the attendants were beyond nice & helpful! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Room needs another chair. The shower door track wasn't straight making the shower door difficult to close all the way. We really enjoyed the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Stay was great. Very close to Busch Gardens. Trina checked us in and she was so pleasant! Only negative was one of our rooms was right next to the elevator and we heard the noise of the elevator all day/night long!

We only stayed one night here, but we really liked it. The welcome was so warmly, Pam at the reception was the nicest lady I’ve ever met. She was very friendly, helpful and had such a heartwarming attitude. Our huge room was exceptional clean, very comfy and beautiful. We also used the free shuttle from the hotel to Busch Gardens with Miguel the driver and it was great. He was so friendly and helpful. Everyone from the staff we met was so lovely. Breakfast was also really good and fresh. We can absolutely recommend this hotel.

We were put in a room facing the road. The noise from the road all night made it impossible to get any meaningful sleep. The glazing is woefully inadequate even though we were on the fourth floor. Frequent emergency service vehicle sirens, loud trucks and motorbikes. Since half the rooms face the road and presumably suffer the same awful noise, I cannot understand how the hotel has such a high rating (8.8). Being able to sleep is criteria number one for me. Shame as the rest of the hotel is well insulated -we did not have noise from other rooms or the corridor. Breakfast was decent and room was a good size and adequately decorated and clean.

We had an outstanding stay at this hotel for Howl-O-Scream! The front desk staff and shuttle bus driver were both exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team was welcoming, attentive, and quick to address any of our needs. They made check-in effortless and offered the shuttle service as a convenient option. The shuttle bus service was equally fantastic, with a driver who was both friendly and accommodating. We truly appreciated the care and professionalism from the entire staff. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Howl-O-Scream!

Great hotel with close, convenient proximity to Busch Gardens and a complimentary shuttle service to and from the park. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. From front desk, to housekeeping and food service, the entire staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Trina and Charles at the front desk were particularly helpful and went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Very pleased with our stay!

Friendly professional person (Charles ) was a great start. He arranged early check in (2pm) for us which was very much appreciated. We were in Tampa for medical appointments at Moffitt Cancer Center. Charles suggested a lunch spot, Four Brothers, within walking distance that we enjoyed. This hotel was clean comfortable and quiet. What more can you ask? We will stay here again.

We only stayed one night here, but we really liked it. The welcome was so warmly, Pam at the reception was the nicest lady I’ve ever met. There was a flood in the room above us which leaked throughmy roof. I reported the leak to the front desk at 2am in the morning. I was told that the hotel is booked and they were not able to move me. Wasn't able to sleep because of the water coming through the ceiling. At checkout I was told that they don't give discount for inconvenience. I will not be a repeat customer withthis brand.

Keyless entry did not work. Totted all my stuff up to third floor and then had to take back down to get card key and then back up again. Room was clean and nice. Right across the street fron Busch Gardens.

Love that this hotel is secure and clean and right across from Busch Gardens. The hotel also has a free shuttle. The surrounding area is unsafe. We took a walk to a nearby restaurant and were met with homeless people asking for money and crazy people yelling and screaming at nothing.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Very clean property and rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel was sketchy and felt a little unsafe. The hotel is on the main road, residential side streets. There was a homeless gentleman camped out on the sidewalk outside the Mc’Donalds across the street and lots of transient people walking by. Location to Busch Gardens is excellent, short drive. The hotel shuttle to Busch Gardens only runs on the weekend.

Hotel is under construction and we were NOT informed prior to our arrival. When we arrived they didn’t have any rooms available and they went floor by floor looking. Don’t know why they couldn’t use their computer system. We waited in the lobby for over one hour till they found a room. NO Breakfast buffet as advertised.

Hotel was perfectly located close to entrance of Busch Gardens. Staff was professional and nice. Everything was clean from the lobby to the room. Room was clean and nice cold A/C. Best A/C in a hotel I have been in so far and I have been in many hotels. Only negative thing would be the breakfast, it not having enough food, but that is expected the later you go. Great hotel to stay at overall!

We chose this property over others because they had free breakfast. We thought this would be fast and save us the cost of breakfast. Once we arrived they did not offer the free continental breakfast. In place of that they have brown bags with a bagel and some fruit. Due to dietary needs this did not work for us

They allowed people to leave animals in rooms that were quite loud for hours! The breakfast was subpar and even when we complained about the animals or food, nothing was done. The bedding did not appear too clean and the shower was not working well with very little water pressure. Would not stay again!
