Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central by IHG

My flight came in earlier than the check in was allowed, however, the staff allowed me to check in early at no extra cost. My husband and I found the room clean and comfortable. The lobby area was nice and big, we played biard games in the evening. Although there was some very loud teens playing foosball on the other side of the lobby, we were still able to enjoy our game. The breakfast the next morning was hot and fresh. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to my request of a later checkout! I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers!

Very good value with free breakfast and so centrally located

Overall this Holiday Inn was a comfortable stay. The shower was great. Parking in the garage was safe & secure & easy enough to use. Hotel is walkable to the wharf area of Brisbane. Breakfast was okay except coffee, fruit and cups & glasses ran out & were not replenished quickly. There were a lot of people at breakfast so it might not have been easy to keep up with such demand

Location is great walking distance to river and $1 for parking was great. Breakfast a bit ordinary and disappointing

Room was clean and well maintained. Some of the staff on reception could not speak or understand English very well. The bar was well stocked but the Indian man’s knowledge of the bar was very poor, he had to keep asking the other ladies what to do. The food menu was limited and the room temperature in the evening was to cold lots of guests went up to there rooms to put on extra clothes. Breakfast was ok the choice kept changing every day some days not for the better but it was ok.The laundry room was good to have but the machines only take coins while I was in there 3 people came to do washing but were up set that it didn’t take card payments. The Chinese guest were there usual rood selfs but some things will never change.
