Absolutely love the roof Restaurant & Bar

Great option for a family vacation. Centrally located, with easy walk/bus routes. Large room that fits 4 very well. Great breakfast and roof terrace! Note that the jacuzzi is actually not available, but requires additional (high) payment.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were super cute. Breakfast was great. Rooftop bar and restaurant is one of the best.

The hotel is very nice and well located. We were given a nice corner room. Check in/out was very good. Only downside to this hotel was the service at the roof top bar and restaurant. Service was extremely poor, some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Bartender was inefficient and somewhat rude. We stayed for dinner and after main course was served we didn’t see anyone at our table for the next 30 minutes. We rose to leave and paid the bill. The staff seemed more interested in horsing around with each other. Worst bar/restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The hotel itself is great and the other staff all fine.

The roof top terrace and bar was a lovely retreat after a long day walking around the city. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food including both hot and cold options. We had such an amazing time in Rome, made all the better by staying at The Glam. We'll definitely stay here again when we go back to Rome and highly recommend that you do too!! You won't regret it!

Great location for getting to all the attractions. Excellent staff and good rooms . Bed very comfy. Roof top restaurant is great for breakfast as you can eat outside. Space inside is a bit tight. The only criticism would be the cost of the drinks at the bar ( 18euro for a g and t ) puts you offf staying for more

Hotel is in a great location (unless you are driving ) . Great rooms , wonderful restaurant . Two issues , the hot tub is 100euro extra charge for 2 people and you have to book a 2 hour slot of which they had nine during our two day stay . Breakfast is poor and they charge 8eur for poached eggs as a supplement .

Front staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Hot tub closed too early to use (7pm) and was kinda pricey 50eur.

Walkable to major sites. Decor is moody and dark- needs better lighting in rooms. Seems like core staff numbers are low. Cleaning staff skipped room cleaning despite my ask.

Not worth the price and not what was expected. Appreciated that they let us check in early and staff was kind but in terms of room cleanliness, there was dust on lamps, the tables and things hadn’t been wiped down that well. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed and was also dusty. After one night when room was supposedly cleaned, there were no towels or wine glasses. Nothing was replaced which I found odd. Overall felt like a 2 or 3 star hotel. Breakfast was nice though and breakfast service was great .

nos decepcionou de maneira geral, a arrumação dos apartamentos e a limpeza péssimas. quarto escuro, isso que compramos o mais caro, barulhento , armários mínimos para colocar as roupas, colchão duro,box de banho diminuto. o único positivo o roof top, cujo atendimento por vezes deixou a desejar. Péssima experiência.

Excellent 3 night stay! It was over 100 degrees daily in Rome during our stay and I was super grateful for the room AC. The AC ran continuously even when we were not in the room which some might say is wasteful but again it was so nice to come from the intense heat to a cool room and be able to sleep comfortably. This might change depending on time of year since I believe there are laws in Italy that prohibit the AC during other times of the year. The breakfast was excellent. Yummy savoury things linked scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. I liked this chickpea dish too. They had pies, cakes and doughnuts too.

Lovely modern hotel however the lighting in our room was very poor. We didn’t have natural lighting due to the placement of our room. Otherwise very nice.

Kinda far to attractions. Need to walk over a mile to get to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona. Has daily breakfast, bed comfortable, felt safe, front desk helpful getting a taxi, but a little dated, shower has no privacy.

Mostly very good! Room(201)was large and linens lovely! Good TV setup and options. Great bkfst and rooftop bar! Staff service great, friendly and very accommodating. Location central to everything we needed- walked over 35 miles in the 4 days. Now the not so great- no privacy door to sink shower area located immediately inside hallway door, Glass sliding door to toilet was stuck, glass shower door also sticky and screeched when closing, towel heater did not work.

Hotel is modern, comfortable and clean. Family room sleeps 4 - two teenagers were comfortable. One king and two twin beds. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant. Staff was helpful. Walkable to Termini and Colosseum. Restaurants and bars along busy Via Nazionale and surrounding side streets. Recommend.

The hotel is very nice. The location is amazing. The ceilings in the room are high. Beds are very comfortable. Shower floor is extremely slippery with half door, which is a big no for me. The shower water switch didn’t work properly, it was either burning hot or cold. The water pressure was so low, I couldn’t wait to be done and leave. Our room came out to the main road, it was incredibly loud all night. Not sure what’s going on with their windows, but there was zero isolation from thr noise coming off of the road. Breakfast area and quality of food for breakfast was great. Service was good. We had a phenomenal view from our room.

Nice Hotel, comfortable rooms and clean. Hotel is not well marked, so make sure to put into google maps. The windows aren’t very sound proof so you do hear a lot of the outside noise when trying to sleep. Nice views, rooftop was comfortable and a nice place to unwind after a day of walking. Street is extremely busy, both pedestrian and traffic with a lot of homeless tents set up, specifically at night around the property and across the street, not a knock on the hotel, but something to be aware of when travelling with kids.

The staff were outstanding, very friendly and efficient. The rooftop bar is a gem, as are the bartender and waitstaff. They know how to make excellent standard drinks and are willing to experiment upon request. Breakfast had nice range of fare and was high quality. In pre-stay communications, we requested a quiet room. They put us in 105, which is on the airshaft and literally as dark as a cave, and it is noisy because it picks up the incessant music from the clothing store below on Via Nazionale, until it closes at 20:30. We asked for a room change to a higher floor, which they accommodated the next day, to room 304. Still internal, which was fine, and much better lighting, and very quiet. Mattresses sagged a bit under normal weight but at the same time were unforgiving, feeling like you lay directly on canvass; tough for sides sleepers for 3 nights. They could improve the quality of the stay significantly by upgrading the mattresses. There are no doors to the bathrooms, specifically the sink and shower area. There is a door (sliding colored smoked glass) to the WC. The doorless opening seems a cheap design choice as a door could easily have been designed in. Sink itself was a rough, porous marble material, so it held oil and was hard to keep clean. Room servicing was very good. There are many hotels of similar quality and cost in Rome. We’d stay again if we needed to stay in the area, especially if we heard they upgraded the beds.

This hotel is superb with a beautiful roof top. All staff members are wonderful appart from the lady manager at breakfast....always moody , not welcoming....not a smile and doesn t look like she wants to work at all. Despite this , it was our second stay here and won t stop us from coming back.

Incredibly friendly staff in a great location in the Monti neighborhood. Easily walkable, great shopping and cafes nearby. On a busy street but quiet rooms. Would highly recommend.

Staff was extremely helpful with transportation, holding luggage before check in and meeting our needs. The complementary breakfast offered had a wide variety of delicious food. We truly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Maddalena was the friendliest and most helpful person I’ve ever encountered in any of my hotel experiences. She booked us a reservation to her favorite restaurant, helped us with an unrelated issue we had while in Rome, and made sure our experience was as enjoyable as possible throughout our stay. The hotel was absolutely excellent, but we will most certainly return because of Maddalena.

This was my second stay at the Glam. Last time, it was great and there were no issues. This time, I had some negative experiences with staff- such as sitting in the roof top restaurant and being ignored by staff. Also, one person would say I could use an amenities early morning but then the next person gave me a really hard time, told me “no” and had me stand at the front desk for 30 minutes for no apparent reason. I will not return for a third stay.

Overall, it was a nice stay. The staff, for the most part, was great. They welcomed us to breakfast since we arrived early and our room wasn’t ready. The manager of the restaurant was not friendly; she was borderline rude. Also, the housekeeping only consisted of making the beds and emptying trash. The hotel is walking distance to lots of restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions, etc. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Only negative was the noise from the streets

Very clean and modern. Not a far walk from the train station and Colosseum.

Great Hotel, centrally located.

The property was clean and organized and very helpful. Magdalena as the front desk was such a delight and we really enjoyed the way she made us feel special. The property is located on a very busy street, so prepare for the sounds of the city outside.

Centrally located - Monti is a beautiful and quite area of Rome!

I’m writing this because I am just a little disappointed about my hotel choice. I wanted to have a really nice room for my family. I guess nearly $500 a night isn’t enough money spent in Rome to stay at a really nice hotel. It’s a lot of money for us! Location is great (close to the colosseum) but be aware that the hotel is in the restricted driving zone (ZTL). During the day you can NOT approach the hotel with your vehicle! The front desk lady told us that we can approach the hotel for unloading our luggage via a side street. BUT you have to drive THROUGH the ZTL to get there…that’s what happened to us. No warning signs etc, just one tiny sign at the beginning of the street. Can’t wait to receive the ticket for our mistake via mail! We’ve found a parking garage outside of the ZTL. 40 euros for one night parking and a 20 minute walk away. The room was small and the noise from the street was horrible. Especially at night when the garbage truck is in full action! There’s no bathroom vent. I don’t have to explain why this is a problem with a family of four. Bathroom had an unpleasant smell overall. Overall clean but not in 4⭐️condition. See photos. The minibar was well stocked and the beds comfy and clean. Staff was friendly.Free welcome drink at the rooftop bar was nice. Overall experience for $460 not really worth the price. Next time in Rome, our hotel will be outside of the ZTL, it’s cheaper and much more convenient (when you travel by car) than this hotel.

Great staff, excellent location, easy walking distance to Colosseum and other attractions. Very nice restaurants in the area as well as public transportation and a taxi stand across the street. Looking forwards to staying at the Glam on our next trip to Rome.

Excellent location with short walks (10-15 min) to many of the more popular tourist attractions

hotel could have been top notch except for service at the roof top bar. Setting is second to none but the service was mediocre.

This hotel is very close to the Vatican and the Colosseum. We walked to both for our tours. Also very close to Trevi Fountain and tons of shopping and restaurants near there. The hotel itself is nice. Our room was well appointed. Breakfast was a disappointment compared to the amazing pastries and meals we had been having in Paris and Florence.

The property is very nice, the location is super convenient. I found the restaurant small, and the food variety is not very good during the breakfast.

Located within walking distance of Roma Termini, this hotel is in a perfect location for walking to the colosseum. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was phenomenal!

The breakfast buffet was outstanding and Helen and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms and hotel was in great condition, clean and very secure.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms are modern with enough space. The shower and toilet separate from each other on opposite sides of the room, wasn’t an issue for us. The VIP amenity included use of the minibar for free for the first day. The breakfast was decent, nothing terrible and nothing fantastic. The only annoying about breakfast was the coffee situation. We love our Italian cappuccinos and cafes (espressos), seems everywhere you go you can get an amazing cafe. However, at the hotel breakfast they did not provide fresh cafe, they have a machine much like one you’d find at a gas station. They did make a cappuccino for us however it was terrible. They assume Americans don’t like real cappuccinos so they put less espresso and a lot of milk. Needless to say, we’d eat breakfast then go out to get our caffeine fix. The bar is really nice, the bartenders can make beautiful cocktails. The hotel reception is there 24 hr a day which is great. The reception even booked our taxi to the airport days in advance. The hotel is walkable to all the major landmarks. Overall, fantastic hotel and would stay here again.

We stayed one night pre cruise trip. The room was very spacious quiet and beautiful. Walkable to the most landmarks of Rome. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful. and great shopping stores nearby.
