The location is amazing, each room has a view of the volcano. However, this means the one window receives direct sunlight most of the day, and with just one small part of the window actually able to be opened, it gets very hot in the room. We also could not leave this window open at night due to the bonfire lit right outside. And there is no fan. So we had a miserable night’s sleep. Again, the location made it worth it, but I’m glad we only stayed one night.

From an American…,if you don’t speak Spanish this is not for you. Staff laughed at my son who wanted to do the zipline because he couldn’t understand them and for adults to make fun of a child is the reason they got a low rating. Property is huge and great for kids. Lemurs, tiger, petting zoo, ziplining, bike riding, archery, etc it will keep you busy! Lastly, if you’re a person of color you’ll experience some racism from locals and staff in Amecameca. Stay in tourists areas if you don’t want to see how locals live. It’s about an hour away from major airport anyway and the driving in Mexico is lawless.the women at front desk were helpful and spoke English and overall a good stay for the kids and they do keep the property and pools clean!
