Good location. All night pizza shop downstairs across. Good bistro n bar downstairs , just have to share bathroom n toilet at end of corridor no lift and check in open for linger arrival times. Good location to.shops and train station.

The hotel noisy and not recommended if one is is looking for some quite places. The toilet and bathrooms facilities needs to be shared and its stinky and dirty.

There are no bathrooms and toilet attached to the room. They are communal. The toilets and bathroom are dirty, smelly. The mirrors and other fittings had rust on them. The tv in the room has no service. I had bed bugs in my bed. The room smelled musky even tho it was empty and meant to be freshly cleaner.

It's just what you want for an inexpensive hotel: a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water in the showers, friendly staff, and good air conditioning.

Limited access to bath (only one bath for females which was in the handicap toilet). Loud humming noise every minute in room generated by aircon which couldn’t be fixed as it was the weekend.

Facilities were good but tv didn’t work for the entire stay and the cleaner forgot to clean the room twice

It suited my purpose of a short stay and I was pleased that the toilet was a separate room from the shower although just one per gender felt was not enough when sharing. Room was well attended (cleaned and fresh towels after 2 days) I had booked this with its close proximity to the light rail so disappointed to learn it was closed, (had been for some time) this should have been included in the description

Good value for a balcony room with shared bathroom and access to parking. The location is reasonably convenient and has a range of suburban and neighbourhood shops and Asian restaurants. The room has a jug and fridge for drinks and the bistro is great value. When the train station is finished, public transport will be easier.

I won't stay again in this hotel, it's dirty and didn't did what they commited. It was said daily room service is available, but we stayed 3 days and 4 nights, just had 1 day room service. The quilt cover and pillow are dirty with black spots, the bed looks urgly.

It’s a typical room above a dingy pub sort of place. Shared bathroom, very dirty room, a concerning amount of blood stains on an uncovered doona. You get what you pay for I guess but it was pretty pathetic.

My room window is face inside, once open it can see directly downstairs pub and cigarette smoke coming from the window. The whole room got very strong cigarette smell and never go away even with the window open and fan on. Carpet is very dirty, bed frame is broken, electrical powerpoint not installed properly. ceiling fan, TV, top of the wardrobe full of dust. Bathroom is very dirty. Only one toilet and 2 bathrooms for men. Rats in the stair area.

Overall, great location, the bed was clean and very comfortable, and the staff were lovely and friendly. But the rooms are very old and very dated, I didn’t shower there because the shower wasn’t very clean. No I would stay there again but I would have to be desperate.

furniture looked like randomly grabbed used parts. Topside of the fridge was still partially covered with the manufacturer's protective film, but this was partially marked with cut marks. And this in a whole looked kind of dirty.

Staff are very helpful but place is very dirty. Nothing works properly.Spider mites on the walls. Bathroom is dirty , nowhere to place your toilet bags, clean clothes or clean towels in the bathroom. Refrigerator is dirty and no milk in it. Carpet is so gross.

At time of writing this review the current rating is 3/5. I believe this to be fair concensus. However I had a solid 2/5 stay. For the first two nights we stayed in room 6, a room that smelled strongly of a rotting animal corpse. We're obviously very appreciative that an alternative room was arranged and that staff were very helpful but one of the replacement rooms was not properly cleaned with the previous occupants rubbish left completely filling the cupboard. The other smelled of mold, as the air conditioning system was damaged at had been left to drip onto the carpet. The lack of care in maintaining cleanliness in obvious places has me concerned about the less obvious things.

2024년 2월 8일 도착하니 호텔이 공사중이어서 우려를 표했더니 괜찮을거라 하여 숙박을 시작했으나 제 방 벽에서 새벽 6시부터 들리느 천지를 진동하는 벽 드릴링 공사 소음에 이틀을 머무르고 환불을 요청하여 10일에 나머지 4일 환불 영수증을 받고 다른 호텔로 옮겼습니다. 하지만 오늘 2월 16일 인데 계좌에 아직 환불은 못 받았습니다. 호텔이 리모델링 공사중이면 손님을 받지 않던가 사전에 공지가 있어야 할 것으로 생각됩니다. 내일이면 호주를 떠나는데 아직 금액이 환불되지 않아 찝찝하게 떠나게 되었습니다. 호텔 관리하는 분이 한국인 메니져 분이셨는데 잘 환불될 수 있도록 부탁드립니다.

Property was reasonable for price. Staff were very rude and unforgiving

I stayed at Hotel Campsie recently and had a very disappointing experience. I travelled from different state to meet a friend and expected a relaxed stay, but the security made it stressful from the start. As soon as I arrived, the security guard stopped me and said I wasn’t allowed inside without even asking why I was there. I explained I had a booking, and only then he let me in, but without any apology. While I was checking in and had already given my ID to the staff, the same guard came again and told me to leave the area and go upstairs, without asking why I was waiting. His attitude was rude and disrespectful, which made me feel very unwelcome. Later, I asked the hotel staff if I could have a few drinks at the bar with my friend and was told it was fine. But when we went to the bar, the security guard blocked us again, refused service, and even threatened to call the police for no clear reason. It felt aggressive and unnecessary. Also, the hallway near the rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes and was quite unpleasant. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was far from acceptable. I hope management seriously looks into the behaviour of their staff and security and improves how they treat paying guests.

I was beyond satisfied with service from the staff. It’s a great hotel close to public transport with many places to eat & shop at. Would definitely recommend.

Not sure what to say but have been double charged for my room payment through Hotel.com plus hotel to my credit card and charged me again as they said they hadn’t received payment from hotel.com will not be using the hotel again after staying there on 3 other separate occasions
