Interesting property, cool art , some neat stores along King Street. Walkable to restaurants, simple parking. Room was upgraded, thanks, used to live in Chatham from 80-91. Had bot been back in iver 25 years. Sid not get chance to eat at Chilled Cork but the room was great and i alept well during my 30hr take in alot visit. Lives the Perch lunch u had out at OJ's pub & tavern. Thanks Retro Suites! I will be back again

Really fun stay at Retro Suites. We ordered the amazing room service from the awesome restaurant downstairs. The whole place has a surrealistic vibe. Sort of trippy. Feels like the type of place you dream about in a trippy dream except this is real. Parking is easy and convenient. Room is clean. The decor is super artistic and original. Nice little staycation spot. Really felt at home the entire time I was there.

Great place to stay, I loved that it had different themes all over the hotel that you could walk around and explore. Rooms were clean and lots of character. Morning light breakfast in the lobby hit the spot for grab and go as I headed out for the day. Friendly staff. I highly recommend staying here and I will be coming back for another stay.

The decor and ambience of this hotel is like no other. Every staff member treated us with Respect and kindness. Our room was comfortable and unique. The continental breakfast catered to every dietary need and was clearly labeled, Including fresh fruit, pastries, and meal bars for all dietary needs. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The staff that checked us in suggested we eat at The Garden. It was a Short walk down the street, With excellent food and an outside patio. I had a concern two weeks after we had stayed about a bill, Staff was excellent and fixed my issue immediately. I read other reviews with concerns about noise, Our room was close to an intersection, noise did not interrupt our sleep. There was plenty of parking.

Loved this hotel! We had such a good time wandering the halls looking at the eclectic artwork and nostalgia. Gathering the pieces must have been such a fun job. We could have stayed there for weeks and not noticed everything, it seems that we walked past the same places several times and would then notice something new. Our room was large and clean with a huge bathroom and fun decor in there too. Love that each room is unique.

The Retro Suites Hotel is one of those hidden gems that are an extremely pleasant surprise when one encounters them. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The adjoining restaurant has wonderful food and is priced accordingly. They also made one of the best "Old Fashioned" I have had in ages.

The bed was rock hard and pillows were lumpy. The train that goes by multiple times a night could be easily heard from my room. Wasn't terrible but I definitely expected more.

This is an extremely unique hotel experience. Every room is a unique shape and design and our particular room was huge with tall ceilings and plenty of room. Our trip was a last minute staycation and we already plan to make it a regular location for planned and unplanned trips.

There are theme rooms in the hotel. The room was clean, mattress was comfy. The Lobbies were nice and clean. The main issue is neighbouring the railroad and noisy floorings. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a quite sleep because of noises from the above floor. We could hear every single step people walking on the next floor and from corridors.

In town for the Mudmen Celtic Rock show at the Kiwanis Hall. We had the Town and Country room which is a 2 story room (beds on 2 floors) directly above the main lobby. Not a problem, never heard a thing and Retro Suites hosted a party that night. Very unique place, allot of interesting art through out. Hotel is walkable to downtown. This is our go to when in Chatham.

The Main Street area of this town is very rough with lots of empty stores and few amenities. Looks like the city is trying to ‘’spruce up’’ but a long way to go. I was born and raised in this town and it looked better in 1985.

Our stay was delightful. We were in Little Haven the first night, but upgraded from a Queen to king room, known as The Study, the second night. Our queen room was spacious, however The Study was over the top. Breakfast offered fruit, yogurt, cereal and delicious pastries. Staff recommendations for dinner were excellent. The Retro Suites has saved and found a new use for downtown historic structures. A win-win for Chatham and its guests.
