The property offers a kitchenette but no adequate utensils, dishes or cookware. When i asked the front desk, I was told that items get stolen so they were not available. I had to purchase items to be able to utilize the kitchenette that I paid for. Very upsetting.

Pet friendly- they had a little welcome kit for my dog! Very ckean rooms and friendly staff.

The hotel is in a great location minutes from Auburn campus as well as restaurants and shopping. The rooms were very spacious and we loved that there was a separate sitting area where the sofa bed was and the kitchenette had everything you needed. It was very quiet as well will definitely stay here again!

Good gym

Upon arrival, the parking lot was being redone and roads were blocked. Made it hard to check in, park and get my stuff into the hotel. The water would not get hot for my shower either. The hotel was safe and staff was very friendly.

Hotel room was comfortable and had a few nice extras like a fridge and freezer. The room lacked in cleanliness. Although most of what you saw at quick glance appeared clean, moving the shower curtain revealed multiple hairs in the tub, The cabinets in the room were quite dusty just above eye level. The space between the bed and nightstand was very dusty and contained pills and an old nail file. The breakfast was sparse and they were out of most items.

Mixed reviews: Mattress was too firm and made it difficult to sleep. Queen bed was more like a full and was crowded. I liked that the hotel was pet friendly. Check in staff was friendly. Staff was also friendly when we called ahead of our stay with questions. Starbucks next door is a plus. Our toilet would not seem to flush well. They also forgot to clean our room before day 2, even though we asked at the desk. Average overall. I will most likely explore a different hotel on my next visit.

It was fine for the price. Seems like the room could stand an upgrade. Fitness center definitely needs an update.

Over our stay the room was not cleaned or towels replaced

Glasses inside our cabinets were not clean. Lip print marks were all over the rim.

We have stayed here multiple times and there is always dirty dishes in the dishwasher. However the place is exceptionally nice and the staff as well! We will always choose this place when we come down though!

The location was convenient overall, but I do not think we’d stay here again. There were several wet spots on the carpeted floor, which led me to believe it was from pets (pet friendly hotel). The bathroom had moldy spots in the shower and part of the wall had either rotted or removed and not been fixed. Lastly, the smell in the room was the most offensive. It did not smell clean, but rather musty and like animals.

I waited about 15 min to be checked in. The staff had stepped away. Once she was present, she helped someone else that walked in way after me. The AC never must be broken because it did not ever cool the room. The carpet was disgusting and needed to be cleaned.

We stayed in rm. 418, and there was an A/C unit outside and below our room that came on and off every several minutes all night long and kept me awake most of the night. Also, there was red and black mold in the seam of the shower floor.

I’ve always stayed at TownePlace suites in Auburn for its convenience and its neighboring shopping options this particular time my sweet the refrigerator bottom was not cleaned. The bathroom sink was stopped up, and there was no Internet on the television in the bedroom. In addition, then a Marriott rewards member, the front desk attendant did not provide much flexibility when it came to asking for a late check out. this visit gets a 2.5 stars review.

This property is pretty shabby and needs an update; If not an update then a serious deep clean.

Needed to extend my stay an additional night on arrival. Staff explained I could extend but would require switching room types, staying in one room one night and a second room the second night. $50 upcharge from the cost of the original room l (both booked on weekdays). The next morning it was explained the new room needed to be cleaned, the switch would need to take place after 11am. I told the staff that I would be back at 5pm and “don’t give my room away!” Haha, right? I arrived back at 5pm and was told the room was no longer available and I was being moved back to my original room. The room had not been cleaned between check-out and check-in. Hotel did not set clear expectations, had me carry around my luggage all day, and then placed me in a dirty room after charging an increased rated. Manager spoke to me via the front desk attendant with no resolution. Disappointed. Mold in the bathroom. Long hair covering shower wall on arrival. Soap dispensers need to be cleaned.

We have stayed here twice. The hotel is newer, but is showing a lot of wear. It needs a complete update. Reasonably close to Auburn University.

The 2 bedroom suite was spacious. Each area had a separate thermostat which was great.

Stayed in the 2BR suite and one of the rooms had no tv remote (had to unplug), the AC in the living room was very loud (had to turn off). Bed was very comfortable!!! The floor in main area was cut and should be replaced.

Wifi service was very poor. Very slow. Would not connect good enough to interface with websites.

Smells nice and the room is really clean! The internet is very slow so Netflix wouldn’t load on the TV. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay!

The customer service at this hotel was excellent and the staff truly cared about their guest. The room was clean and comfortable and very spacious. The hotel is close to Auburn University, downtown Auburn, and within 15 minutes from Opelika.

We arrived at the hotel at 5:00 till 4:00 in our room was not ready. We had to wait a half an hour. Once we got in the room there were no blankets or sheets or pillows for the pull out bed.

This was my worst stay at a Marriott property. I arrived at 1:30am and it was 28 degrees outside. I stood in the cold vestibule for 15 minutes waiting for someone to open the door. I called the hotel and there wasn’t a response. The bell/intercom wasn’t working. I got checked in smoothly. I went to my room and it smelled awful. I felt cold in the room and saw that the thermostat read 59 degrees. I called the front desk and there wasn’t a response. After that I went down and I found the front desk person who said she come up with me. I was lugging a duffle bag and other bags. She proceeds to take a stab at being a HVAC tech for 10 minutes. After her assessment and troubleshooting, she says “let me switch you to another room”. So I follow her with my bags to the front desk. I get checked into my new room my complimentary “upgrade” and it swells far worse. I start sneezing due to a smell of heavy mold and mustiness. It’s now after 2am, so I just accept it. I look at the beds and one bedroom doesn’t have a mattress protector. The other bedroom has hair and what I assume to be skin flakes in the made bed. The microwave was also dirty. At this point I decide to pull an all nighter and I napped on the chair/ottoman on a bed of towels. The front desk agent from that night was the manager when I asked to see a manager. Her response was to give me 5009 Marriott points. I’m familiar with Marriott’s brand and this hotel should be rebranded to a motel 6.

A wonderful experience! Super clean and staff was so kind. The only issue that came up was there was no blow dryer in our room. I’ve never stayed at a hotel without a blow dryer, so, we definitely didn’t bring ours. Unfortunately, the staff was unable to find one we could use. He did mention they were on back order and I understand that is not their fault at all. I ended up using the AC vent to dry my hair. Staff was super kind and breakfast was great. Wonderful hotel.

A man unlocked the door at about 1030 before we checked out and that’s inappropriate. You don’t just barge in the door you knock first and if nobody answers then you come in only after checkout time he walked in and said oh thought you had already checked out no we had not checked out and you don’t just come in somebody’s door. that’s not ok

Love staying with marriott @ town place suites auburn! Great location that is convenient to university & many off campus apartments. This Marriott will be our place to stay when we come to visit our child.

Very Clean Property. Check in was easy and fast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Next time I am in Auburn I will make this hotel the first option.

It said breakfast included between 6 to 10am. And we were there at 920am and it was closed already..

Room was clean and comfortable. No hot water in the shower. No water pressure. Continental breakfast was not good.

The AC was not cooling as it should. Bottom floor evening and manager came in to bring 2 extra towels and noticed immediately. Sadly it was full booked and we were exhausted so we made do sleeping with a sheet. Manager very nice, room clean but the next morning we were promised a full buffet and at 730am nothing left and no attempt to offer besides a yogurt, milk or dry cereal. No eggs, bacon nor sausage or waffles or bagels nothing. That was disappointing. Still---will likely go back and hope its improved

The breakfast was awesome! I love grits. They were cooked just right! There were so many fixings to put on your eggs, oatmeal, waffles, bagels, etc. The atmosphere was nice! So many were there for the football game. All had a great time! This is my favorite hotel!

Everything was great, but because it was Christmas season the breakfast was only grab and go, and the cleaning services were limited. That said, it was understandable because people deserve Christmas off.
