The property was basic but functional, it is clean and provides the basic needs for a short stay. The beds are comfortable although always annoying when a queen bed is actually two singles combined. The facilities and amenities were good, there was limited onsite parking. The lift to the rooms is only open between 9am and 9pm and while the staff were generally friendly, they seemed inexperienced and worked extremely long hours. The area around the hotel is quiet except for a nearby pub which can have noise especially at closing time. A fire alarm activated requiring evacuation due to a guest smoking about 12:30am. One the reception staff arrived as the key holder long before the MFS but had very limited interaction with guests and a worker in the kitchen ignored the alarm totally. No breakfast is offered onsite, and the evening meals are variable. You can request a toaster or microwave at no additional cost.

We were not happy not being informed that the lift to the first floor where our room was located is blocked off during the night and not open until 9 am. My wife needing a disability walker to move was forced to walk down stairs and only made possible by the help of other guests. Calling the after hours emergency number left at the lift failed to have a reply call back from anyone. At no point had we been told that the lift is blocked off during the night and not open until 9 am. Had we been informed their was no access lift for disabled people we would have found other accommodation.

The room was OK although the window wouldn't shut completely. Not a huge issue but it was rather cold when we stayed. The biggest issue was that we were expecting to use the guest laundry facilities as listed on the hotels.com listing but unfortunately the hotel does not actually have any laundry facilities.

Parklane Motel was centrally located in the township and you could easily walk to local shops, clubs and also having the pub opposite the motel was very convenient. The Vietnamese Restaurant located at the motel was very good. Free parking behind the motel was also good. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly, service at reception desk was unattended and had to wait til the dining staff got someone to check us in, room wasn’t ready when we entered so had to go back to reception to swap to a prepared room, stains on carpet looked gross and we were told we could park out the back but no parks available so had to park on the street, luckily car was ok and untouched in the morning

Very ordinary for price. Exhaust fan in bathroom filthy. Shower not hot. Tiles still had masking tape on from recent repaint of ceiling. On arrival at 4:30pm sill had cleaning trolley vacuum etc strewn across hallway. Would not recommend.

Stayed at the motel for a week for work. Pros: • Check in was great and easy. • Parking was easy and on site with plenty of street parking. • Restaurant on site was great • Food options were amazing and delicious - would highly recommend the restaurant • Located across the street from a pub • Cleaned the room daily but didn't replenish tea/coffee • Was cheap • Close to where I needed to go Cons: • Lifts shut between 9pm and 9am • Shower had mould around the bottom • The "king bed" was two neds pushed together and they moved a lot and sunk in the middle. • Both beds were super hard - even with a mattress toppers • Sounds from other rooms were loud • Trains came through all night. Brakes screeching and rumbling • Soap was left in the shower from a previous guest • Pillows were uncomfortable and only gave 2 and took the spare one day when cleaning. In hindsight I should have complained and asked to have my room changed. I figured that I got what I paid for being a cheap option for a week's stay.

It was quite nice, modern room and bathroom, but a bit cramped. I wish I had known that it was upstairs as we had a lot of luggage, also the lift didn't open until 9am the next morning and we left well before that. We were on a 4 week holiday to Western Australia so had a lot of luggage, quite a few trips between our car and our upstairs room. We had to put our suit cases on the 2 lounge chairs so could only sit on our beds to watch television.
It was quite nice, modern room and bathroom, but a bit cramped. I wish I had known that it was upstairs as we had a lot of luggage, also the lift didn't open until 9am the next morning and we left well before that. We were on a 4 week holiday to Western Australia so had a lot of luggage, quite a few trips between our car and our upstairs room. We had to put our suit cases on the 2 lounge chairs so could only sit on our beds to watch television.

There was a pub across the road that was super noisy and some of the patreons ended up close to our hotel before the police came. While cheap, wouldn't stay here again

We initially checked into a room after hours that wasn’t serviced, and thought someone was staying there. We phoned the after hours no. And the lady attended and sorted us with another room. The area was quiet and the room was great for what we needed.

1. The location is perfect. 2. Food is really good but the service is really bad. It was only me and my wife who went to the restaurant. We have placed our orders way ahead of the family adjacent to our table but their food around 8 of them were served first ahead of us. My wife followed up our order to be serve on a wait of another minutes seeing the family adjacent to us already ordering their desserts. 3. We have stayed for two nights and two days with only one complimentary small milk in the fridge. We have let the front desk know of our concern but they don't seem to bother for we have said it two times. 4. The hotel is so UNSAFE! Around 5am in the morning, I wanted to get something in my car finding out that the FIRE EXIT at the back is locked! If fire will break out there is only one beside the elevator that is accessible and that is unacceptable and the hotel will be fined if there will be a random inspection by the fire department. 5. My wife and I are travellers from Queensland. We have stayed so far in two hotels in Adelaide and hoping to have a good experience in Murray Bridge. Please don't get me wrong, we really had, just wanted for you to know some of my concerns to set the bar up in your accommodation.

We have stayed for two nights and two days with only one complimentary small milk in the fridge. We have let the front desk know of our concern but they don't seem to bother for we have said it two times. 4. The hotel is so UNSAFE! Around 5am in the morning, I wanted to get something in my car finding out that the FIRE EXIT at the back is locked! If fire will break out there is only one beside the elevator that is accessible and that is unacceptable and the hotel will be fined if there will be a random inspection by the fire department. 5. My wife and I are travellers from Queensland. We have stayed so far in two hotels in Adelaide and hoping to have a good experience in Murray Bridge. Please don't get me wrong, we really had, just wanted for you to know some of my concerns to set the bar up in your accommodation.

We were greeted with a nice friendly helpful staff member. We had easy access to upstairs room. The room was very comfortable and clean.We were attending a Fringe show at the Town Hall, this accomodation was within 1 min walking distance, so very convenient location. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly, service at reception desk was unattended and had to wait til the dining staff got someone to check us in, room wasn’t ready when we entered so had to go back to reception to swap to a prepared room, stains on carpet looked gross and we were told we could park out the back but no parks available so had to park on the street, luckily car was ok and untouched in the morning

This place has seen better day's. Quite run down, dirty and not very appealing at all. Check in was worse than pulling teeth, one poor girl working who was bar tending, waiting tables and trying to run reception. Definitely would never stay here again. Rough!

The property was basic but functional, it is clean and provides the basic needs for a short stay. The beds are comfortable although always annoying when a queen bed is actually two singles combined. The facilities and amenities were good, there was limited onsite parking. The lift to the rooms is only open between 9am and 9pm and while the staff were generally friendly, they seemed inexperienced and worked extremely long hours. The area around the hotel is quiet except for a nearby pub which can have noise especially at closing time. A fire alarm activated requiring evacuation due to a guest smoking about 12:30am. One the reception staff arrived as the key holder long before the MFS but had very limited interaction with guests and a worker in the kitchen ignored the alarm totally. No breakfast is offered onsite, and the evening meals are variable. You can request a toaster or microwave at no additional cost.

We Stayed two nights. We had dinner the first night. The food was good, and the service was fantastic. Alesha was amazing. Made me tired watching her. She is a credit to the hotel. If all staff worked like her, Australia would be #1 for tourism. But the 2nd night wre had Squid which was not really edible, and despite our complaint we were still charged the full amount. Not a good overall experience food wise. But accommodation was ok, noisy, but that was not the Hotels fault. .

Having planned a weekend getaway interstate before circumstances changed, I didn't want to waste the opportunity to travel within SA. Having stayed at the Parklane before, I knew it was comfortable and made a good base to explore the city centre. As always it didn't disappoint, proviidng a safe room where I could walk to other areas around the city.

While the staff were nice, the place smelled so bad. And despite signage stating they were opening at 10am on Monday due to the public holiday, there was no one there till 11am and no one answered the multiple after hours phone calls. I also ordered a king bed and they put two single beds together with only a thin blanket on top to make it ‘one’. I felt unsafe as there was a person in the stairwell all night and no security around. Would not recommend even with the cheaper price.
