This is a great Family holiday location. Highly recommend! The split bedrooms, three TV's, kitchen, living area and outdoor patio was the perfect accomodation for a family holiday. The entire family especially the Kids loved the interactive splash pad and water slid. Added bonus was access to the Marriotte sister hotel next door super cool kids splash pad pirate ship and facilities. Highly recommend for family holidays.

The 1st floor, 2 bdrm unit we had was close to the beach, had a garden view and large patio.Large bedrooms/bathrooms with the Westin Heavenly beds. Kitchen was well equipped, restaurant was fair but walking distance to others. Towels were changed out daily. Only thing that wasn't wonderful was the $25/day/ chair fee for the beach. Will definitely go back. Loved being farther north on the island-much less traffic.

A beautiful place to stay. Close proximity to the beach, good pools, 2 hot tubs and play area for kids. The chairs do get booked pretty early, but we always managed to find a spot. Overall the resort is stunning and the nicest Westin resort. The overall vibe is very chilled and helped for a very relaxing break. We loved our stay here.

The property was gorgeous and the rooms huge and clean. Limited dining options but we didn't mind eating at the same place often because it was delicious and having a Big Wave shaved ice on property was a huge hit with kids. Main pool was pretty crowded, not sure if its because it was the Christmas holiday or its always like this. Could not get chairs unless you went early in the morning. Biggest complaint was it cost $100 per day for an umbrella and two chairs on the beach. This seems ridiculous when you are paying over a thousand dollars a night for your stay. So we just sat on the beach but i have never been to a resort that does this. In Wailea many of the hotels have accomodations for guests on the beach.

This was our first time in Maui. The location and property were great. We liked that there was a swimmable beach, which is not automatic at all Maui properties. I would recommend snorkeling right in front of the resort, as it was as good as the charter we went on. Would definitely stay here if we return. Close to many food and shopping options. We didn’t use it, but there is a shuttle that takes you to Whaler Village.

Great place to stay with or without kids. Wonderful pool, awesome beach and professional staff. Of property food and grocery options too. Thos Westin is definitely on our revisit list if we come back to Kaanapali.

Be aware there are three different properties next to each other. So make sure you’re at the right one before getting luggage out. Staff was wonderful!! Drinks at bar fabulous! Beach was kid friendly and safe with beautiful sunsets.

Just stayed 5 nights here. The property seemed newer and the rooms were spacious, clean, and beautiful. We loved that the rooms had a washer a dryer, and had everything you needed, like a small apartment. We loved the pool area, and the food was very good. The only thing we didn’t like was the loud noises we would hear early morning like doors slamming and people walking above us, but I suppose this is something you hear at most hotels.

We had high hopes considering the cost of this hotel but we were disappointed. The rooms are large with a separate kitchen and living room area however it smelled very strongly of chemicals. It was very loud and it was not very clean.

Very welcoming and friendly, room was absolutely amazing. Resort was beautiful and clean. Staff was also a delight, I had forgotten my sweater and they emailed me within days to let me know I had forgotten it and that they could ship it out to me. Definitely recommend! :)

All the staff here are super welcoming! Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The heavy doors made it nice and quiet for sleeping, my 3 kids slept the entire night! And that bathtub! Will be returning soon.

The property was clean and well maintained. This property is advertised as a resort which it is not. It is much more like the experience of renting a condo,, no limited cleaning services etc., which is fine just not what was advertised. We had stayed here before and they have really cut back on the service. Was disappointed.

Whenever i book through Expedia, i usually get rooms with poor views. This one was the view of the parking structure. The last one was of a side wall when we stated at Grand Wailea. Other than that, we loved everything about this spot.

Absolutely loved this property. Stayed with my family of 4 in a 2 bed 2 bath and it was fabulous. The pools were great for families. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. We would stay here again!

Great family friendly place. About 40 mins from the airport but the location is not bad. Supermarkets are close by for those who like to cook. Restaurants are also near by for those who don’t. Some destination spots are close by. The suite itself is nice and has everything we needed for a family of 6.

This hotel is ok ! The pool and the beach are the only good thing. Everything else is very disappointing!!!!! The staff at the front desk was very rude . Never coming back .

They are operating on minimal staff, so Customer Service is not what it used to be. They have moved the south breakfast buffet to the north property, and made it a mixture of buffet/serve. We really enjoyed the south property breakfast buffet where you can just go all you can eat when you want and get what you want. Also, your Marriott Bonvoy status doesn’t matter at the Western property, which is annoying. I suppose I can understand not honoring Marriott Bonvoy at Weston vacation, but they advertise the Marriott Bonvoy on the property.

Staff were not friendly. We are Marriott Bonvoy elite members and this is by far the worst property we have stayed at staff wise. Our 2 year old daughter was sick and the staff could not have cared less, real lack of empathy and concern. Front desk staff were notable bad. The culture is definably off here. Would not return.

Employees were far less helpful and just didn’t care. The hotel is awesome but employees not so much. Lack of caring was across the board, so it must be the management.

Had a great stay. Staff were friendly and quick to take care of whatever we asked for. Hotel restaurant was great with unbelievable sunset views every evening. Snorkeling in front of the hotel was great and the pop up craft fair brought quality vendors right to us. Loved it and will return again!

The 1st floor, 2 bdrm unit we had was close to the beach, had a garden view and large patio.Large bedrooms/bathrooms with the Westin Heavenly beds. Kitchen was well equipped, restaurant was fair but walking distance to others. Towels were changed out daily. Only thing that wasn't wonderful was the $25/day/ chair fee for the beach. Will definitely go back. Loved being farther north on the island-much less traffic.

This was our first time in Maui. The location and property were great. We liked that there was a swimmable beach, which is not automatic at all Maui properties. I would recommend snorkeling right in front of the resort, as it was as good as the charter we went on. Would definitely stay here if we return. Close to many food and shopping options. We didn’t use it, but there is a shuttle that takes you to Whaler Village.

Just stayed 5 nights here. The property seemed newer and the rooms were spacious, clean, and beautiful. We loved that the rooms had a washer a dryer, and had everything you needed, like a small apartment. We loved the pool area, and the food was very good. The only thing we didn’t like was the loud noises we would hear early morning like doors slamming and people walking above us, but I suppose this is something you hear at most hotels.

Air was a nice hotel in a nice location but we were so disappointed for the service. The housekeeping was weekly for a 1200 dollar a night it was outrageous. The restaurant for breakfast was a joke, you have to stand in a line to order your food and still pay the maximum. Very disappointing we ate only the first day at the hotel and went to Dukes for the rest of the week dinning.

They are operating on minimal staff, so Customer Service is not what it used to be. They have moved the south breakfast buffet to the north property, and made it a mixture of buffet/serve. We really enjoyed the south property breakfast buffet where you can just go all you can eat when you want and get what you want. Also, your Marriott Bonvoy status doesn’t matter at the Western property, which is annoying. I suppose I can understand not honoring Marriott Bonvoy at Weston vacation, but they advertise the Marriott Bonvoy on the property.

The property was gorgeous and the rooms huge and clean. Limited dining options but we didn't mind eating at the same place often because it was delicious and having a Big Wave shaved ice on property was a huge hit with kids. Main pool was pretty crowded, not sure if its because it was the Christmas holiday or its always like this. Could not get chairs unless you went early in the morning. Biggest complaint was it cost $100 per day for an umbrella and two chairs on the beach. This seems ridiculous when you are paying over a thousand dollars a night for your stay. So we just sat on the beach but i have never been to a resort that does this. In Wailea many of the hotels have accomodations for guests on the beach.

This was a great property I stayed at. I loved everything about it. There was lots of food. Lots of great service. The rooms were very clean. I would say that they are not very clear on smoking policies as one paper said we were allowed to smoke in a certain area and the other said we didn’t.

Loved our stay! As a family of 5 across 3 generations, the 2-bedroom villa gave us plenty of room to spread out. The in-unit washer and dryer was a huge plus. The resort was very clean, and the staff were always friendly and courteous. We can tell they put a lot of effort into keeping the property safe and well maintained. The beach access is fantastic, and we loved walking the Ka’anapali Beach Boardwalk every day. A great place for a family vacation!
