The Management Team and the staff are very courteous, trying very hard to ensure our comfort and that we are happy. The efforts are very well appreciated. The Management is also trying very hard to keep the condition of the property, and under the harsh tropical, rainy and with the close proximity to the sea, it is not an easy task; but the Team had done exceptionally well. To us, entering the property seems more like walking into Disneyland than a tropical resort. On the shortfall, the temperature of the water heater can turn up a bit. The hot water in both my room (1002) and in the spa was not very high, even when I tried to turn to “all” hot water, it was not hot enough. Also, the electricity was a bit unstable, with 2-3 short shortages a night. The aircon will be be stopped and was a nuisance in the middle of the night.

The resort is so well designed and appreciated the design concept of a university campus. There was plenty to do at the resort such as free activities like massage lessons and bike tours. There are three different pools and the beach attached to the resort is well kept for Phu Quoc with staff constantly picking up rubbish. Big shoutout to Jace who guided us on the bike tour and to the ladies at the spa.

This was our second stay at the JW Marriott, following last year. We had a great time relaxing in the blue ocean with white sand, playing in the ocean with free SUP boards and other equipment, and relaxing in the quiet ocean-view pool. This time we were especially treated well by the warm and wonderful staff, who made us feel at home and relaxed with just the right sense of distance, making our stay even more wonderful than the last time! The staff who checked us in, whose name escapes me, was particularly helpful. He moved us to a cooler area so my husband could work on his PC while we were waiting to check in, and he took me on a cart ride around the resort to keep me occupied. Ms. Emma was always attentive to our comfort. She took pictures, sent us a handwritten greeting cards, and gave us gifts and earplugs to apologize for the noisy events (since I have insomnia). Ms. May at Tempus Fugit also took care of us every morning to make sure we were comfortable and to enjoy our breakfast, which helped us to enjoy a pleasant start to the day. Ms.SANG, who was in charge of the Lamarck tour and entertained us, was especially good to us! She took care of us every time we met her. She made us feel at home with fun stories, gave us useful information such as fireworks in SunsetTown, and gave us a lot of warmth and care. I cannot express how much I appreciate your hospitality ! Thank you so much to all the staff for making our trip a wonderful and unforgettable one!

Super luxurious stay. Well worth money spent. The sea water clear but not crystal clear. Alot of algae. Hardly any fishes to be seen but beach was kept clean. 3 swimming pools, one for adult only. Food was fantastic!!!

From the moment we checked in, we were disappointed with our stay. We had wanted a romantic trip together. The room we were given was not at all private. People constantly walking back and forth, looking in. Employees hanging out outside our room taking their balls. Literally no privacy at all. We had specifically chosen a room with a balcony because we wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view, but were given a room without one. The solutions we were offered were insufficient. We were shown one room upstairs which was filthy and dusty. A manager, "Jay" bothered us at breakfast the next morning. Instead of letting us eat in peace when we made it clear it wasn't a good time to talk, he wouldn't leave and kept insisting the employee hanging out outside our room wasn't smoking. As if that changed the fact that we still had no privacy. The day of checkout, he again approached us. "I was going to offer you a treatment at the spa, but since you already booked something, nevermind." So why even say that? The customer service skills and etiquette of the employees here are severely lacking.

The whole premise of the property - an old French university - is a bit childish. Kids may love it, instagram influences may get great photos, but adults who want to relax will find it cheesy. The Pink Pearl - the fine dining restaurant is eye watering expensive - $500 USD for two + tip. I would advise strongly to pass - not worth the money. The room was dusty in areas. Overall for the money, I would give another property a chance to earn my business.

The Management Team and the staff are very courteous, trying very hard to ensure our comfort and that we are happy. The efforts are very well appreciated. The Management is also trying very hard to keep the condition of the property, and under the harsh tropical, rainy and with the close proximity to the sea, it is not an easy task; but the Team had done exceptionally well. To us, entering the property seems more like walking into Disneyland than a tropical resort. On the shortfall, the temperature of the water heater can turn up a bit. The hot water in both my room (1002) and in the spa was not very high, even when I tried to turn to “all” hot water, it was not hot enough. Also, the electricity was a bit unstable, with 2-3 short shortages a night. The aircon will be be stopped and was a nuisance in the middle of the night.

From the moment we checked in, we were disappointed with our stay. We had wanted a romantic trip together. The room we were given was not at all private. People constantly walking back and forth, looking in. Employees hanging out outside our room taking their balls. Literally no privacy at all. We had specifically chosen a room with a balcony because we wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view, but were given a room without one. The solutions we were offered were insufficient. We were shown one room upstairs which was filthy and dusty. A manager, "Jay" bothered us at breakfast the next morning. Instead of letting us eat in peace when we made it clear it wasn't a good time to talk, he wouldn't leave and kept insisting the employee hanging out outside our room wasn't smoking. As if that changed the fact that we still had no privacy. The day of checkout, he again approached us. "I was going to offer you a treatment at the spa, but since you already booked something, nevermind." So why even say that? The customer service skills and etiquette of the employees here are severely lacking.

I have traveled all over the world and this resort was spectacular on every level. The detail was incredible and so very, very well done. Our hotel room was the most beautiful hotel room I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was sheer bliss. The service staff was absolutely impeccable.

Excellent place to stay at. Beautiful villa! Our butlers David, Son, Di and Joy were so attentive to our visit. They were all so kind and helpful and made the stay a remarkable one. Would most definitely come back! Very pleasant and relaxing!

Amazing stay. Beautiful property. Staff trying their best to accommodate every request. Beautiful beau, white-ish sand. Quite warm sea. Very clean. Lots of people cleaning the site thoroughly all day Be aware though that given the sunrise facing side of the resort, and the fact that there are a lot of trees, you might not get as much sun as one expects. Not an issue, always a way to find a sunny spot thought. Extremely powerful WiFi throughout the whole site. Improvement area: Breakfast. Cold cuts and cheeses are outside of the fridge, which is a big health issue (I got a food poisoning: Smoked salmon). Also: they could refill the items in the breakfast more often. Quite a few items are missing regularly. Overall good breakfast but could be so much better.

It was a first time visit in Phu Quoc for our family. We were greeted immediately and given an in depth tour of the facilities. Throughout the stay we were very pleased with the consistent, friendly service from all of the staff. The breakfast buffet was standout - a beautifully curated assortment from all cuisines. What made our visit most memorable was Sang. They helped us from the beginning and was always readily available - offering recommendations and checking in constantly to make sure we always had something to do. Their service was easily one of the most attentive and genuine we’ve ever received worldwide. Overall, a great time with a staff with your best interests at heart. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful resort, well maintenance, we stayed for five days and didn’t leave the resort at all. We only go to nearby shops such as Wellness Spa and July Spa for massage which is within the hotel area. The hotel is exceptional and we love the Pink Pearl Restaurant where I had celebrated my husband‘a bday there. We created so much happy memories here in this beautiful place. Staff are very helpful and attentive.

We had the most amazing time at this wonderful hotel! The beach is crystal clear and the pools are lovely. A special thanks to May who treated our daughter so kindly and really looked after us. Also, a huge thank you to Mia and Ruby for our relaxing massages. The staff all around the resort are extremely polite and helpful. The food options are great; we especially enjoyed our dinner at the Pink Pearl restaurant. The whole experience from start to finish was superb!

The young gentleman, Quan, at the main dining room was consistently generous with his time, friendly, personable and made each restaurant visit one of the highlights of our stay. This place is incredible. The epitome of a 5 star experience. The location is amazing, the staff was amazing and accommodating, and the details and theme’ing of such a large resort was endlessly impressive. The breakfast buffet alone was worth it. All I needed was a beach vball court and I probably couldn’t leave. This place is incredible. The epitome of a 5 star experience. The location is amazing, the staff was amazing and accommodating, and the details and theme’ing of such a large resort was endlessly impressive. The breakfast buffet alone was worth it. All I needed was a beach vball court and I probably couldn’t leave. It was a first time visit in Phu Quoc for our family. We were greeted immediately and given an in depth tour of the facilities. Throughout the stay we were very pleased with the consistent, friendly service from all of the staff. The breakfast buffet was standout - a beautifully curated assortment from all cuisines. What made our visit most memorable was Sang. They helped us from the beginning and was always readily available - offering recommendations and checking in constantly to make sure we always had something to do. Their service was easily one of the most attentive and genuine we’ve ever received worldwide. Overall, a great time with a staff with your best interests at heart. Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend really enjoy the time in JW, Alice and Cindy take care of us really well, Food in Red Rum is also fantastic. However the fly is everywhere at night in Red Rum, even staffs are nice to provide us the spray, it is still a lots stay around the food.

We had the most amazing time at this wonderful hotel! The beach is crystal clear and the pools are lovely. A special thanks to May who treated our daughter so kindly and really looked after us. Also, a huge thank you to Mia and Ruby for our relaxing massages. The staff all around the resort are extremely polite and helpful. The food options are great; we especially enjoyed our dinner at the Pink Pearl restaurant. The whole experience from start to finish was superb!

Super luxurious stay. Well worth money spent. The sea water clear but not crystal clear. Alot of algae. Hardly any fishes to be seen but beach was kept clean. 3 swimming pools, one for adult only. Food was fantastic!!!

The property sits on an amazing beach - clean, warm, calm water that extends over 100 yards out at depth of no more that 4 ft. The whole premise of the property - an old French university - is a bit childish. Kids may love it, instagram influences may get great photos, but adults who want to relax will find it cheesy. The Pink Pearl - the fine dining restaurant is eye watering expensive - $500 USD for two + tip. I would advise strongly to pass - not worth the money. The room was dusty in areas. Overall for the money, I would give another property a chance to earn my business.

Lots of people cleaning the site thoroughly all day Be aware though that given the sunrise facing side of the resort, and the fact that there are a lot of trees, you might not get as much sun as one expects. Not an issue, always a way to find a sunny spot thought. Extremely powerful WiFi throughout the whole site. Improvement area: Breakfast. Cold cuts and cheeses are outside of the fridge, which is a big health issue (I got a food poisoning: Smoked salmon). Also: they could refill the items in the breakfast more often. Quite a few items are missing regularly. Overall good breakfast but could be so much better.

Staff are like family. They get to know you and your family. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel room was beautiful. The beach was private and was able to take so many photos around the hotel. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve eaten at. They will customize meals to your preference.
