The hotel was truly the perfect place to stay for its location to the ballpark, as well as the Metro and local restaurants. The staff was friendly, the breakfast options were perfect and everything was clean! One major issue to share: the elevator needs serious fixing! The noise in our room was horrible each and every time the elevator moved to a different floor. It kept us up at night! Thank God for Tylenol PM! This needs addressing swiftly!

We stayed here one night with our 3 grandsons when attending a Phillies game at National Stadium. It was a perfect location, a block from the stadium. The hotel was comfortable and spacious and the room was perfect for 5 of us. The boys loved the pool and we enjoyed the view from the rooftop lounge. Breakfast was included and there were many breakfast options. The staff were super helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything about the place was great. The one thing i would have to say that semi bothered me was one of the elevators makesba very loud noice when in use. Sounds like a leaf blower or a weed wacker. But i could hear it from my room and it would wake me up multiple times each night.

Loved that we were in close Vicinity to the baseball stadium and restaurants/shops. Unfortunately we had a room next to an elevator that was really noisy and could hear it every time someone used it. Was a bit hard to catch some sleep due to the noise. The pool also had no towels to dry off and the concession station is over priced. Would recommend you park at the hotel if you drive up there.

Excellent stay. It was somewhat difficult to valet park, but I feel as though it was due to the extra traffic from Nationals Game. We had an excellent stay. The roof top area was an added bonus. Easy nice walk to Nationals Field.

Debbie and Lauren were great! I had a couple of issues in the room. However, Ms. Debbie resolved everything quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, the pool was closed the last day/night due to an chemical imbalance (bm). Therefore the pool wasn’t ready until the next morn. Lauren provided us an extended stay for 2:00 pm checkout to allow us the use of the pool. Breakfast was great, staff professional, and location exceptional.. My son and I had an amazing experience 10/10 recommend!

The hotel itself was nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Food was just okay for breakfast. Rooftop patio has great views and hotel is close to some good restaurants within walking distance. Only complaint was the valet parking and lack of getting car when we needed it. One evening, we needed to pick up a prescription at a CVS 15 min from hotel and valet person took 30 min to get our car once all said and done. Caused us to be close to closing of the CVS (that we had to drive to because they were open until 10) and I didn’t get my medicine that evening.

My recent stay at this hotel was disappointing, primarily due to the valet service. The valet parking is significantly overpriced, and the service was horrendous. Each time I called for my car, I had to wait 45 minutes, which is completely unacceptable. The valet workers had no sense of urgency, and to top it off, one night my car came back smelling like weed. This is unprofessional and concerning. Additionally, there were no luggage carts in the lobby, forcing me to use a wheelchair to bring my bags to my room. This lack of basic amenities was frustrating and inconvenient. The food at breakfast, although free, was subpar at best. The quality needs serious improvement. Steps away from green line metro. Breakfast was decent (though everyday was a different cooked version of pre-liquified egg mixture) with very attentive, kind, friendly staff running it. Lots of places to eat nearby. Kitchen in room was limited but good enough. Room showed wear with stained sofa, torn carpet and peeling paint in shower, but it was fine for a 4 night stay.

Service was excellent! The facility not so much, room didn’t go below 74 degrees. Yes it was hot out but in the middle of the night still wouldn’t cool down. The shower head was broken and leaking. The room was pretty clean, sheets had stains on them and smelt as they had been left in a washing machine overnight then dried.

My stay was good. Only downside is they have a 200dollar holding fee that they don't tell you about until you get there. The beds were hard and there was a constant clicking noise that makes you think someone is knocking or trying to come in. It really disturbed my rest. The staff was pleasant. The room was clean other then the bottom of the headboard space where the mattress meets it was dusty. Yes people do check that. When they do their inspection. Had a great time and would stay again when they fix that clicking noise. Everything else I can deal with.

The room smelled as if it had sitting water in it. Rust on and on min the refrigerator. The counter top was dirty. The tub was brown. I complained about the noise and the teenagers were alone in the room next to us. I complained twice and nothing happened. We stayed up the entire night. They were banging and trying to get in the room through the connecting door. So unsafe and the fact they did nothing was crazy. I was told because I booked through a third party, oh well nothing I can do is what the rep told me. Very rude and unprofessional. I didn’t get her name name. The young lady that checked me out gave me the corporate number and was very courteous. All around the worst hotel stay ever. Not using Hotels.com again. I called and nothing was done. Kids left unattended with no adult supervision and an unclean room.

There were large dark stains in the hallways, as well as lack of AC. so stuffy in the room we had the AC down to sixty and still didn't feel that cool, the ceiling fan was not fit for the size of the room. Maybe for a closet. There were full broken pieces of the flooring on the roof deck.....

We enjoyed our stay in DC. The location was great, the staff was friendly and they were as helpful as they could be. The breakfast was good, the room was a decent size, and the kitchen had everything we needed. However, as a family of five the beds were lacking. What we usually do is have our three kids share the bedroom while my husband and I take the pull out couch. This feels safer as the bedroom does not have an outside door and it allows us to stay up later and move about freely. We know not to expect a pull out couch to be as comfortable as a regular bed, but this mattress was unbearable. We have used this strategy many times at other hotels with no problems. This mattress was thin and you could feel all the metal poking out without even needing to push on it. The mattress was also saturated in stains. We put the cover on and gave it a shot the first night and it was horrible. Hotel staff said there was nothing they could do but give us more blankets and pillows. We piled blankets on it and slept on top. Still terrible. Finally on our last night they switched out the mattress for us, but it was just as bad. We asked to speak with a manager, but was told they were not available. The staff was kind and tried to help. But a hotel should not advertise a room as capable of sleeping 5 people if they cannot do so comfortably.

PROs, Great location. Nice clean rooms. Very close to METRO station, Close to restaurants. Fairly safe to walk at night. Close to DC atractions. CONs: Stayed at 10th floor, elevators were very noisy woke me up few times a night. If you decide to stay in this hotel ask for lower floor. Horrable parking situation! They charge $57 per night!!! Breakfast at best mediocer! very few selection. Bolied eggs felt rubbery! Breakfast time too short, they closed at buffet at 9:00 am, it should be longer, specially if you travel with kids.(should be10:00). Poor choise of coffee in rooms.

The room was large however with extreme heat outside, the A/C in the room did not work well. For some reason this room and maybe all rooms have an exhaust grate that sends hot air into the room near the door - the A/C vents are near the windows so they kind of offset each other. We had "engineering" to the room twice and received same answer - this is just how it is. We also had a breaker switch off seemingly because we turned on too many lights in the kitchen area - were told don't turn on so many lights or plug in phone chargers in that area Otherwise room was good, hotel good, breakfast very good, gym needs wipes for equipment, valet good but expensive.

If you're going to a Nationals game, it's the perfect location because the ball park is right across the street. Room is big and nice to have the kitchen area. NO USB PORTS! Actually one in the TV. Big oversight by the hotel in my opinion. It's 2024, USB ports are a necessity for sure.

Rude clerk greeted me, acted like my questions were a bother to her. This even though I explained to her that I have never been in that area and wasn’t familiar. Room was okay but the toilet wouldn’t flush and maintenance had to come to the room multiple times to fix it. Management probably needs to either invest in some customer service training or fire people. Either way, won’t be going back to this hotel.

I was there with my family. 3 adults 3 1/2 kids. Everyone was very friendly, especially loved the valet! There was a mistake made and my card was over charged, but Keith , the assistant manager, handled it graciously and quickly. The room was clean and the area felt very safe with plenty of great restaurants to try. Highly recommend checking out the pent house roof sitting area. We got some great pictures from up there! We will definitely be back.

I had to check-in after midnight and the process was time consuming, requiring 20 minutes phone call and filling out forms. Breakfast was dismal, and I had to pay 2 full days for valley parking for staying 14 hours. Stay outside of Washington and take Uber into the city. This will save you money and time.

Our stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make our experience memorable. The gentlemen who valet parked our car, the friendly front desk women, and the young women we met at breakfast each morning were all terrific. But what truly made our stay special was Keith. He went above and beyond, offering detailed advice on how to get to the local attractions and the best times to visit. It was my husband's birthday, and when I asked Keith for a restaurant recommendation, his suggestion led to a fantastic dinner. The icing on the cake—literally—was when the staff surprised my husband with a signed birthday card and a decorated cupcake. Wow! Talk about going above and beyond! Highly recommend this hotel for their outstanding service and attention to detail.

The hotel must be understaffed. It’s a shame, prime location to the ballpark, the front desk worker couldn’t care less about helping guests, absolutely terrible attitude during every interaction. Housekeeping was friendly but also took forever to get an extra blanket we requested and it was still wet. Valet was helpful friendly and quick, front desk worker ruined it for us, she should probably consider a different career path not in hospitality or customer service.

We loved our stay! Our room was very recently renovated; new tile, paint, furniture, fixtures, everything. It smelled new and clean. The continental breakfast was fantastic. The Navy Yard metro stop is steps away and there's numerous restaurants close to the hotel. I'll be recommending this property to anyone I know who's headed to DC.

If you are looking for quiet, this isn’t it. It never bothered us, but during baseball season, it’s loud on the street. We were there for a game, so we enjoyed the ambiance. The Bullpen, is literally right outside the hotel. Another great thing is, so is the Metro. So, it’s super easy to navigate downtown to the museums and come back to Navy Yard. The area is safe enough during the time we went (late April). We traveled with our 12 year old son, and never felt unsafe in the streets or on the Metro. They’ve done a great job keeping this area clean and safe.

My experience was truly a cut above the rest. This hotel made my stay super cozy, convenient and comfortable. From the floor to ceiling windows in my corner suite, the indoor pool, rooftop lounge, complimentary breakfast in the gorgeous lounge area and friendly staff I can’t say enough about my stay. The location is also convenient to area attractions by Uber/Lyft or Public Transit. The only sigh was the quality of breakfast on day two and three of my three night stay declined significantly. The options were extremely limited compared to the first night. There was also very little kitchenware in the suite. For example a pan but no pot and a stirrer but no spatula for the pan. Overall I recommend this location and would absolutely stay again.

Location! Location! Location! This hotel was perfect for our family of 5 visiting DC for the first time! Right across the street from the Navy Yard Metro, 1 block away from the Nationals ballpark and so many great restaurants within a few blocks of our hotel! We really appreciated the hot breakfast each morning and the Wednesday evening appetitzer social! Our room was clean, and our beds were comfy! The black out curtains and 2 large tv's allowed us to really enjoy our vaca by staying up late and sleeping in! The staff was very helpful in answering all our tourist questions. We appreciated our stay! Only downfall: garage parking available is $70/day. Thankful that our car was securely stored, but disappointed to spend so much money to park and use the Metro.
