Perfect situated, close to Conellstreet, buses and trams. Friendly staff, cosy, personal, fresh made irish breakfast. Would be nice with a fridge in the room and the automatic lamp in the hallway was a bit disturbing when you went to the bathroom in the night.

Net hotel met historisch decor. Bij de receptie was altijd iemand aanwezig en de voordeur werkt met een slot: goed voor je gevoel van veiligheid. Vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was ruim, zoals verwacht. De badruimte was schoon. De kamer lag op de derde verdieping in het oude gedeelte en was vrij warm. Buiten was het 14 graden, op de kamer zeker 21 graden. Een airco is dan toch wel een must, zeker als de zomers warmer worden. Verder vind ik dat een kamer tegen deze prijs een koelkastje dient te bieden aan de gasten. Goede bereikbaarheid met het openbaar vervoer en je loopt zo de stad in.

Gardiner Lodge is well located, only 5mins walk from O-Connell St and Dublin Spire which makes it very walkable and a great Hotel standard B&B to stay in. There is no parking outside the property which make drop off a challenge and there's no bar area to relax in, instead you have to make do with local pubs!

No elevator!! Had to ascend 72 stairs from lobby to room, obviously multiple trips per day. Also, asked for ice, received small bowl, after repeated requests over a period of a number of days. Will not return.

The Gardiner Lodge was a quaint hotel that was beautifully maintained. It was clean and very accessible to all the sites that central Dublin has to offer. Loved it. Be aware though that the hotel does not have an elevator or air conditioning. Just the same, many hotels in Ireland do not have air conditioning since the weather is cool for so many months of the year. I'm still giving the Gardiner the highest of scores, it was truly a pleasure staying there.

No elevator for visitors, especially for seniors with disability. The luggage elevator was very bad system, only one at a time and it requires climbing the stairs and coming down for each pieces of luggage.

The hotel was cute..style was charming with an intentionally throwback feel. No a/c but they did provide a fan. Likely not much need for A/C as Dublin seems to cool off at night. Breakfast was nice and room was relatively spacious. The linens and beds were nice. Bathroom was upgraded (rain shower), modern style. The main issue we had is that the street is a little sketchy overall. The hotel is a 15 min walk to Trinity College (across the river) and a little outside of the most touristy areas...we saw a fair amount of drug use in the area, which is nothing to do with the hotel at all, but maybe a function of being a bit off the main tourist area in a big city. Great little pub less than a block away (the Celt).

The facility overall is nice. Trying to check in and drop of your luggage is horrible. There is no area in front or in back of the building, you literally have to stop on the street in traffic and unload. The parking garage they discount is about three/ four blocks up the street. The room we received was extremely small, we had to take turns opening luggage on the bed since there was no other room. Temple bar area is about a fifteen minute walk, you are close to several shops.

Very clean and nicely decorated rooms and hallways. The staff was helpful and friendly. Good breakfast and great breakfast service. The location was central. A microwave was available kitchen, which was helpful for warming food in the evening. Tip: There was a reusable water bottle in the room filled with water, which was very nice. However, it would be even better if it were sealed for hygiene reasons.

It is my first time travelling to Ireland ang I am surprised on how beautiful it is. Gardiner Lodge is very clean and staff are very accommodating. They made my stay is comfortable and nice. Breakfast is superb as they served on-the-spot cooked meal which is really good.

The place is more of a hostel, it was billed as family friendly but rooms were tiny, mattresses were very thin and not comfortable, sheets had small stains on them, the shower drain was backed up and flooded the tiny bathroom, water backed up outside the bathroom onto the carpet and never dried. The toilet backed up the second day. They front desk refunded us a portion of the cost but never apologized or seemed to care much.

I stayed here for one night and was assigned a room directly below the 24-hour lobby, which was very noisy. When I asked to move to another room, I was told they were fully booked for the next two days. I then asked to cancel my reservation for the following night, but they said cancellations aren’t allowed within 24 hours because this is a bed and breakfast. From reading other reviews, it seems the rooms not located under the lobby are much more pleasant. If you decide to stay here, I would strongly recommend requesting a room that is not under the lobby or at the front of the building.

Location was easy access to train station but area wasn’t the best. Breakfast was very good. Wi-Fi was inaccessible for our two rooms and staff were either not willing to acknowledge or unable to fix, blaming our phones. We have most current iPhones and they worked in every other hotel we stayed. Room was tiny. Not worth the over $300 per room we paid.

It’s a small lodge close to shops and restaurants. Room is clean and spacious. It has an old-day feel. The only problem is the bathroom - there is no ventilation so it was moist and didn’t dry up at all. The staff was ok, I asked them to order a taxi, they never did.

I was greeted by the lovely Sebastian who was very helpful The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and I would not go out at night but the Lodge was fine and my room was small but comfortable . Close to a lot of sites and you are able to get transportation to other parts of Dublin.

Such a pleasure to stay there for the weekend. The service is very friendly. The place is beautiful, clean and tidy. It’s perfectly located at 10 min walk to the Temple area for the Pubs in the evening and 5 min to the Spire which is the center of the city with all the stores, bus stations and accommodations. The hotel is away from the most noisy part of the city which make it quiet at night. The breakfast is delicious and generous. I will go back for sure on my next trip.

Inside the hotel is mostly quite nice (heavy fire doors made navigating between bathroom and bedroom a bit awkward in our room). The breakfast is included and really quite nice--it felt like royal treatment in this day and age when almost every other hotel in Dublin charges you extra. Staff particularly nice and helpful. The neighborhood, as others have mentioned, isn't the best. If I were traveling alone as a woman, I'd probably make sure to be in my room before late.

The decor is a mix of Victorian and Georgian in the public areas and very modern new comfy in the rooms. VERY welcoming. BUSES right out the door Shopping and pubs 3 minutes walk.

Unfortunately it’s not located in great area. The staff were outstanding, responding to every need. It beautiful inside , couldn’t have asked for better staff and management. We had very early start when leaving and then even arranged breakfast for us before the official breakfast times. I wpuld definitely recommend it but be sure to get taxi or Uber there if possible.

Central location for the National Convention Centre. I was able to walk to the Centre in about 20 minutes. Convenient for the LUAS tram system also. Room was clean and comfortable. If possible, it would be best to start serving breakfast earlier 8:00am as guests with an appointment at 9:00am have no prospect of enjoying breakfast and making the appointment at 9:00am.

Although the surroundings have many low cost B&Bs and youth hostels. However, inside it is a much more pleasant hotel with nice decorations. The room was a reasonably nice size and so was the bathroom. They made nice cook breakfast, but unfortunately it wasn't available in early morning, I think it started from 8am. So there were only limited pasteries and juice at earlier time. Be aware of that if you have an earlier flight to catch.
