Our second visit to this dog-friendly hotel met every expectation. Clean and spacious room, although couch sagged and desk chair was too low to work comfortably at the desk/side table. Complimentary breakfast is pretty good with better-than-average coffee and pleasant seating adjacent to the lobby. We did not check out the pool or spa. Best feature of this location is its proximity (~50 yards) from the Animas River walking path. Our dog and I both loved this walk every morning and evening and we met numerous friendly folks (and a few deer and prairie dogs) along the way.

The property was in good shape. The breakfast wasn’t awesome our first day. The second day a little better.

Stayed 1 night

The room was clean a bit old. The mattress was the worse mattress I have ever slept on in a hotel. I sunk in at least 8 to 12 ins when you ladies on it. I felt I was in a ditch. It had absolutely no support. The room had a bad smoke smell. There was a horrible noise all night long. It sounded like someone opening and closing a closet door .
