Dryer didn’t work in our unit. We had friends staying in a different unit and it worked there. On our last night there someone broke the windows out in three corner cars. We were lucky that we were right in front of the door. The location is great. Easy to walk to all the action.

The property is walking distance to everything, with a very affordable price. The only thing that need to be disclosed is there is no elevator so if not on the first floor be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs

My car and 2 others had windows broken and robbed. We all had things stolen. Police reports filed. Hotel would do nothing to compensate us for our loss. Said park at your own risk.

No elevator, so difficult for 60-ish aged women to get 40-50 pound suitcases up and down stairs on floors 2 and 3. For 4 women on a budget, it was a good alternative to a standard hotel room. The one small bathroom didn't seem to have enough ventilation and it was very warm and steamy with the door closed. Also, the main AC unit is in the living room with a small vent for the bedroom so it was warm in there. The property managers were very responsive to bringing us a fan which helped a lot. Ice maker did not work but they quickly sent ice cube trays. There is a large shared verandah at one end of the building that we used for cocktails every night, though there is quite a lot of street noise. The location is good for a 10-15 minute walk to lots of action. Despite a few drawbacks, it worked out well for us and we'd not hesitate to recommend it for overall value.

The check-in and check-out process was extremely easy. The apartment was clean and conveniently located to everything we wanted to do/experience. Included parking was a plus, as we had a rental car. We would definitely stay again!

I would recommend driving a small vehicle to this property if able; our truck and someone else’s were hit this weekend in the parking lot. It’s super nice to have free parking, but the spaces and lot are small ; maybe just alert people to this

I will start with the good part. The towels were nice. Other than that there isn't much good to say. The flooring was pulling up creating a trip hazard. There was mold in the shower. The shelf in the shower where you would put your toiletries is heavily rusted. The towel rack is loose and about to tear out. The doors aren't hung properly and jam when you try to close them. There is no heat or cooling in the bedroom. If you close the bedroom door it gets very cold in the bedroom. Every other night around 1am the trash truck comes to empty the dumpsters. The one night where the dumpsters weren't being emptied someone entered the apartment below mine and had an hour long argument on the phone. Then they slammed the door on their way out. To top it off they are cheap on the coffee they provided. The concept of a short term apartment rental is nice. However, the implementation is poor. On to the staff. Once you make your non-refundable reservation you will find out they want way too much personal information. They have no protection for your information and if you don't like it you don't have to stay there but they are keeping your money. There information requirements are over the top and are unnecessary. The staff are simply jerks!

The entire building smells like mildew, including the beds… When booking on Expedia, it looks as though all of the rooms are exactly the same. Ours did not have an operational washer and dryer in it, but that wasn’t specified, the washer and dryer just were not listed in the ad as they were with the other ones. so we just randomly clicked a unit to book without realizing we wouldn’t have that function. It’s a nice short walk to Broadway but at night the area becomes a little bit sketchy. A homeless man walked right into our building behind someone and we happen to be opening our door and he came right inside our unit and wouldn’t leave until we gave him beer.

Surprise $200 property fee added after confirming reservation - additional to the taxes and fees of $100 for a 2 night stay - no explanation of what that is for when inquired. Black mold on shower curtain - dirty dishes in cupboards - multiple plates and cutlery.. A deep clean is required - grimy kitchen floor around stove.. Bed was comfortable, sheets clean - good location. Nice washer/drier

Pros: price & location. 5 minute walk to broadway Cons: both my husband & I are leaving with sore backs. The mattress was way too soft. Our suite had a weird, strong, musty smell. No AC in the bedroom so room was hot at night.

Fantastic location to walk to anything downtown. We went to Billy Strings concerts at Bridgestone and Ryman and only time we used our car was to go to a restaurant and shopping outside of downtown. Only drawback was we were on 3rd floor(no elevator) and the room was warm. A/C does not cool fast and only cools the main room. Bedroom still warm. Otherwise good use of our money.

Fairly worn out room. Safe was not working and labeled as our of order, drier was not working and labeled as out of order. The soda bed was wired shut (I assume also out of order) and the wire was exposed and cut my partners leg open when she sat down Was fairly clean with the exception of a mouldy shower curtain that was unpleasant. Location was excellent, 10 minute walk to Broadway. Spacious apartment with comfortable bed. There’s no cable TV just an Apple TV, would have preferred cable. The mirror in the bedroom is not well placed, it would be better if it was on the wall just outside the bedroom door facing the kitchen. No place to leave luggage if you have extra time before heading to the airport.

Room was more like an apartment! Full kitchen and seperate bedroom. Location was good for price (4 blocks off Broadway). Room was on 3rd floor with no elevator. TV had no local channels, just apple tv which never worked.

Great location convenient to Broadway and downtown with parking, elegantly furnished in a modern way, well stocked with everything you need. That's the good. Not so good: no AC in bedroom and living room AC noisy and barely effective, bed on verge of collapse, couldn't figure out how to use the TV (and I'm a techie!), hallway smelled like raid (but no bugs encountered), floor of room above noisy and creaky, hardly any room to put your stuff, no one on site to help. None of this negatives would be that negative were it not for the high price - at this price point you expect better (at the very least, AC in your bedroom and a working TV).

We loved this spot! They’re older apartments that have been renovated for guest stays. Loved the full kitchen! Our only notes… the building is not air conditioning, there are units in each room. Our unit was in the living room, but none in the bedroom so it was a little stuffy in there. There is a fan in there but it is small… and overhead fan would be ideal. There is no TV in the bedroom and the bathroom is not in the room but around the hall… nothing that would knock down the rating, just notes! Beds were comfy and we were a 10 minute walk to Broadway and a 20 minute walk to The Gulch! The free parking was the best part! Would absolutely stay again!

Ive stayed at the Washington Black Swan location which was excellent. The Nashville location was VERY disappointing. Young children played in the hallway outside my door. I heard EVERY step of the room above me as there is no soundproofing or rugs. I complained about noise during day. Was told quiet time was 10pm-8am. I had the same problem during quiet hours. It felt like people above me were in my room. After midnight the noise from above stopped but started again at 730am waking me up for the day when I had hoped to sleep for 2 more hours. Not a good place for a good nights sleep. The room appeared clean at first but there was dirt hanging from cabinets above refrigerator. There was dirt on bathroom light fixture. There appeared to be food on window of microwave. Minor issues with TV due to Black Swan not signed in. Black Swan is not present on the property which wasn't an issue in Wash DC because I had no issues. WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN. Not sure if I will stay at another Black Swan property again. They are great if you dont have issues. I called Black Swan in the am. Operator tried to apologize and said operations would follow-up. Unfortunately, that doesn't help me and felt like an empty apology.... especially after I complained during day and they told me it wasn't quiet hours but I had the same issues at night and morning

This property could be a 5 star, but the main entrance lock was failing and I was locked out of the property SEVERAL times. The overseas customer service was ZERO help. The floors in the apartment need to be mopped, the couch was soiled, the clothes dryer didn’t work, and the safe was broken too. The hall color was a horrible green. The bedroom didn’t have AC!!! You have to crank up the AC in the family room and then use a fan to blow the cooler air into the bedroom. If these things were fixed, it would be 5 stars. But as is, 3 stars.

Will never stay there again, and you really want to look at other places also. The HVAC never cooled the bedroom because there is NO HVAC IN THE BEDROOM! The fan provided is a joke. We drove into town 90 minutes early to only be told we couldn't check in to a ready unit without paying $50.00 extra to get in early. They know nothing about hospitality. We are in the biz and would NEVER deny someone early check in on a ready to go unit. They are just a big corporation trying to make every dollar they can.

We had an excellent stay at this property. The unit was well decorated and had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer! The location is great, within walking distance to popular spots. The checkin process was efficient and the staff was responsive. Overall, we’re pleased with our visit and would recommend it!

I was disappointed in my experience with Black Swan. While the facilities were nice and clean, I did not like the hidden fees associated to the booking. $160 fee as a “facilities fee” (billed right at check out and before you arrive) seems like a way to lure you into booking the trip with a deceptively low daily rate advertised and then they make their extra money on the back end. Why not include the fee in your daily rate?? I was also promised amenities that were not present in the room (such as the in room safe). This might be a miscommunication between Expedia and Black Swan, but I called and spoke to someone at Expedia before booking and they assured me I would have a safe. This wasn’t the case at all and I was left with carrying around my valuables through my whole trip. The room also has a washer and dryer onsite, none of which worked. They labeled the AC, the safe, the washer/dryer all with “out of service” labels… There is also no one onsite. This is one of those companies that rents rooms and then rents to you at a daily rate. There is a customer support phone number, but no one onsite to talk to or resolve issues. You basically have to communicate with someone via text messages about any questions or concerns, and they respond during normal business hours. This is fine but good to know it isn't like a traditional hotel. All in all, I would have never booked with this facility had I known about the fees and non-functional systems onsite and other nuances.

Instructions to get in were a little complicated but the staff answered the phone and was super helpful. my only complaint is that the tub/ showers wasn’t clean and had hair all over it. but i loved the decor and it felt like an apartment! would deff get another room here!

We always love staying here. It’s the best kept secret place to stay in Nashville. This is like our 4 th time staying there. it’s close to everything and parking is free. The rooms are clean and it’s an easy in and out off the highway. It’s comfortable and quiet. They now have an outdoor patio area which is cool.

The entire building smells like mildew, including the beds… When booking on Expedia, it looks as though all of the rooms are exactly the same. Ours did not have an operational washer and dryer in it, but that wasn’t specified, the washer and dryer just were not listed in the ad as they were with the other ones. so we just randomly clicked a unit to book without realizing we wouldn’t have that function. It’s a nice short walk to Broadway but at night the area becomes a little bit sketchy. A homeless man walked right into our building behind someone and we happen to be opening our door and he came right inside our unit and wouldn’t leave until we gave him beer.

exceeded my expectations. great location- a short walk to gulch and Broadway without being too loud and busy. bed was comfy, room was super quiet. our room (with living area/kitchen) was very very clean. 100% would recommend.

Great location, close to Broadway, but yet just far enough away to have a little peace and quiet. There’s a grocery store a couple blocks away, which made it easier to be able to get the necessities. Very nice clean place to stay.

Stayed in unit 4 ADA unit. Bed was super comfortable, with plenty of pillows. Place was clean. Fan was loud in a good way and the white noise machine was a nice touch. Very spacious. 4 towels for the 2 of us. No laundry in the ADA unit. Staff was helpful to get us access to laundry. We would definitely stay again. You do have to pay to park. Coffee shop across the street or a Starbucks at margaritaville.

The bathroom was not clean, there was a razor left in the shower by a previous guest and a few long dark hairs in the tub. The shower also didn’t work well. There is a small amount of coffee, but not enough and no tea or cocoa. The furniture in the living room was a bit dingy.
