No staff around at all. A machine to check in and out. It was an awful experience. Hard floors and doors that slam even if people are quiet, so very noisy. The room was very hot and unable to change temperature.

Restaurant at ground level was good. May want to update the car park info cos we were given oudated info on the daily discounted €18 rates at a car park that is now €35. In the end the staff was good to point us to a cheaper car park

We did not feel safe in this area. The property in itself is also unsafe because anyone off the street is able to use the elevator and gain access to the floors where guests are staying. The elevator should only be activated by use of the security card for the guest rooms.

It started at check-in with a large touch screen. You had to type in your info and then it printed your key. It was the next day before we discovered the 1st floor bar/resyurant doubled as a hotel desk. There were no signs or indications the two were related and there was on 1 person on staff. The hotel was almost $500 per night and had desk and bed made of plywood. There was no Air Conditioning and the bed was like a rock. There were both sheer and room darkening drapes but neither set covered the window. We could see people in adjacent rooms when setting on the bed. The lighting was very dim in the room. The plywood desk had a desk lamp with a bulb not much brighter than a nightlight. When taking a shower we found a roach in the shower and the provided blow dryer smoked after a few seconds of use. Finally there was no parking and the extremely limited staff could not even tell us where to park. It was Oktoberfest but even considering this the room was very overpriced. I don’t recommend this hotel unless you can stay for $150 or less.

Das Hotel und vor allem die Bäder wurden sehr schön und auch modern renoviert. Check in ist am Thresen des Restaurants. Zimmerreinigung ist nur alle 2 Tage, deshalb ist uns auch das Toilettenpapier ausgegangen, welches man dann selbst an der Rezeption erfragen musste. Im dringenden Fall schon etwas doof. Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Unser Wunsch ein Zimmer in einer oberen Etage wurde leider nicht erfüllt. Es war sehr laut auf der Straße bis morgens 2-3 Uhr. Fenster konnte man deshalb zum Schlafen nicht öffnen. Der Ventilator hat zwar kühlen Wind gebracht, war aber auch extrem laut. Man hörte auch die Tauben auf dem Fensterbrett.😕 Matratzen und Kopfkissen waren gut. Wasserkocher für Tee und löslichen Kaffee war im Zimmer. Leider konnte man nur an einem Tag etwas trinken, da nichts mehr nachgefüllt wurde, außer leere Pappbecher.

Die Gegend rund um das Bahnhofsviertel zwielichtig und dreckig, aber damit war zu rechnen und da kann das Hotel nichts dafür. Für den Standard des Hotels war der Zimmerpreis viel zu teuer.

The room was fine and front desk staff was friendly. No air conditioning made it incredibly uncomfortable and the window did not offer much air flow. The street the hotel is on is incredibly noisy with people out on the street until 5am. Would not choose to stay in this area again despite the convenience of being close to the central train station.

Das Hotel besticht durch die Zentrumsnahe Lage. Insgesamt könnte das Hotel sauberer sein und etwas überholt werden. In der Dusche war kein Licht, aber wahrscheinlich war das beabsichtigt, damit man die schimmeligen Fugen nicht so doll sieht. Der PVC Fußboden war fleckig. Am Anfang dachte ich, dass da verschmierter Kot auf dem Fußboden ist. Habe dann aber festgestellt, dass der Fleck wohl nicht weggeht. Die Frau von der Rezeption war sehr nett, sie war allerdings auch für das Frühstücksbuffet und alles andere verantwortlich, sodass die Rezeption nicht durchgängig besetzt war. Ich gehe davon aus, dass ich das Hotel beim nächsten Mal nicht buchen würde.

In der Dusche hat es nach Schimmel gerochen, es gab auch Schimmelflecken. Der Wasserhahn hatte ein kaputtes Teil und die Toilette löste sich aus ihrer Wandhalterung. Das Frühstück hatte eine sehr schlechte Qualität und es war sehr wenig Auswahl, gekostet hat es 21,50€ pro Person und pro Tag. Dafür war es sehr teuer.

Our first room was not clean at all, blood stains and random stains on walls and floor, hair in the shower from previous guests and a general impression it hasn’t been deep cleaned for years. Or second room was better but still the feeling of not having been cleaned properly for a long time, and one of the bed sheets had a big stain so we had to ask for a new one.

Amex wird nicht akzeptiert. Auch eine Bezahlung über Expedia wurde verweigert. Man bestand auf Bar oder EC-Kartenzahlung. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sprach nur Englisch. Das Zimmer ist sehr eng und im Innenhof gelegen sehr gut einsehbar vom Hotelflur und dem gegenüberliegenden Büroflächen. Insgesamt ist das Zimmer sehr verstaubt und herunter gekommen gewesen. We stayed here as it was in walking distance to Oktoberfest but the area was a little sketch to walk around at night as it is next to a bunch of strip clubs. The staff was zero help and barely spoke English or German. You would think the checkin staff would at least speak German. The rooms were not very clean, we had black stuff coming out of the shower when we turned it on and there was mold in the shower. We had 2 fans in our room, both covered in dust that we were not able to clean off easily. You can't leave the windows open for air as there are people screaming till about 4am right outside of the hotel and one of the nights a fight broke out.

Good hotel, it was a great location to walk to Octoberfest and to Old Town. The street the hotel is on was pretty noisy at night and the rooms are a little small. The staff was very nice, Knute was awesome and went out of his way to make our stay a great time!

We arrived before check in time but were able to check in using a kiosk, which was very handy. The room was fine, bed comfy, big bathroom the only think we noticed is there were no glasses or cups and the safe was locked so we were unable to use it. Clise to train station, less than 10 min walk.

The room was clean and our room was a decent size. When we visited it was quite warm and there was not AC, but we opened the window at night and there was a portable fan in the room which was nice. The beer downstairs was great, and we were walking distance to a market, coffee shop, and doner place as well as a 10 minute walk to the main train station. My only complaint would be that it was very loud at night, like there were people screaming/yelling, in the street.

Nice hotel and great location. But one thing I took for granted and didn't check was that they don't have air conditioning, just a small fan in the room and I was there when the temperature was 30° so it was very hard to be in the room, and there is a restaurant just outside, so even with the windows cracked there was not much circulation and there's a lot of noise from outside

The room is very basic. Bed is firm and uncomfortable. No air conditioning, so you have to keep the window open. It is an Arabic neighborhood, it is extremely loud until 3am every night. It was impossible to sleep and gets very hot with the window closed. Breakfast was disappointingly minimal also.

Says on multiple bookingsites that the room has AC but it did only have a small fan that did nothing. The room was a sauna, after one night with no sleep we had to book a room at an other hotel to be able to sleep. And the door to the bathroom didn't open properly so we had to squeeze in through a small opening to get in to the bathroom. Definitely not value for the money. More hostel standard than hotel.

No staff around at all. A machine to check in and out. It was an awful experience. Hard floors and doors that slam even if people are quiet, so very noisy. The room was very hot and unable to change temperature.

Good hotel, it was a great location to walk to Octoberfest and to Old Town. The street the hotel is on was pretty noisy at night and the rooms are a little small. The staff was very nice, Knute was awesome and went out of his way to make our stay a great time!

I would stay at an MK hotel again. My only issue is that the neighborhood was noisy and the windows didn’t filter out the noise. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Amina and Mikhola were excellent very funny. They make beer on site and it’s very good. And you can take a glass of it up to your room. To power anything in the room you have to insert your room card into a slot and leave it there till you leave the room. Room for one was comfortable. Bed was comfortable but the pillows too soft. The hotel is close to the central train station and easy to get to. Food was great. They do have soap dispensers for the sink and in the shower. Nice touch. Plenty of plugs and a few with usb ports. If you don’t mind a little noise then I recommend this MK hotel. I would definitely stay with them again.

Easy Checkin (wir durften vorher ins Zimmer), Zimmer sauber und relativ groß, sehr gute Lage zwischen Hauptbahnhof und Innenstadt. Sehr große schöne Dusche (Regendusche). Tienen un pésimo servicio! No son amables… hacia 40 grados y no tenían AC y el ventilador no funcionaba bien, se nos malogro y el señor de recepcion solo contesto que no podia darnos otro, muy malcriado para hablar. La zona esta céntrica pero terrible, al costado de burdeles…el restaurante y bar solo abría para el desayuno, después estaba cerrado, no te ofrecían amenities. El trato muy malo, el servicio muy malo, la zona de terror, no lo recomendaría a nadie.

This was a great, clean place to stay close to the train station. It was a bit noisy facing the street in a bustling neighborhood, but it’s part of the charm. The early morning singing was lovely. There are a few seedy bars in the neighborhood, but overall it feels pretty safe and welcoming.

The location was fantastic, close walk to the old town, transport and more important Octoberfest. The room was nice, however can get a bit hot, nothing an open window doesn’t fix (no ac). The staff and service was excellent, always helpful. If you get there late, you need to use the self checkin, works fine 👍

The property location is just a few minutes walk from hauptbahnhof and in a busy neighborhood with many shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the quick access to the hauptbahnhof u-bahn stop as it made our travels around the city very convenient with less walking. Their breakfast service was good and the restaurant was super convenient for a late night bite and drinks--their bier was very good. Being in this location, however, there was a lot of street noise from the area activity. This wasn't a major problem but with no air conditioning in the rooms it meant a choice between air circulation or outside noise. Rooms are simple and nice. Definitely recommend this property to people exploring Munich!

Das Personal war freundlich. Das Zimmer hatte an viele Stellen verschiedene Verschmutzungen (Flecken, Staub, Krümmel, Haare im Bad, Flecken an der Toilette, Haare im Bett). In der Dusche hat es nach Schimmel gerochen, es gab auch Schimmelflecken. Der Wasserhahn hatte ein kaputtes Teil und die Toilette löste sich aus ihrer Wandhalterung. Das Frühstück hatte eine sehr schlechte Qualität und es war sehr wenig Auswahl, gekostet hat es 21,50€ pro Person und pro Tag. Dafür war es sehr teuer.

Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer und Flur ist mangelhaft. In unserem Bad wurden Müllbeutel hingestellt, allerdings kein Eimer dazu. Frühstücksbuffet wird nicht wirklich nachgefüllt und das benutzte Geschirr an den Tischen wird nicht weggeräumt. Mussten uns einen Tisch selbst sauber machen.

One thing that could affect rating.... I am not a smoker (at all). From time to time I could feel as someone smoked through my only window my room had. Staff was very friendly and restaurant on a ground floor is really great! MK has Own, in house (!) Beer brewery! Also great food! Especially Zwiebelrotsbraten! Something you have to try. Service is also great. Very friendly atmosphere!

Not the best neighbourhood. We were beside a strip club. Rooms also not air conditioned so kept the small window open but the streets were noisy at night. Also the walls of the rooms were dirty and the hallway light down our corridor to get to the room did not work so had to walk down a dark hallway to get to our room.
