Courtyard by Marriott Gdynia Waterfront

Nice hotel. Probably the best one in Gdynia. Great view into harbour and decent bar/restaurant. Only downside is that rooms are a little on the small side and building works outside

The name says Waterfront, and that means like it is a bit off from the centre of Gdynia The area around the hotel looks like a waste dump/construction area. So this is future planning. But the hotel is modern. Check in was smooth. Room was clean with a partial view over the sea and in over town. Nice bathroom, even though they have a frosted glass door. Breakfast was nice, but no bacon to go with the freshly made scrambled eggs. Otherwise nice selection of foods and drinks. Check out. Seems like taxis and ubers has a small problem of what is the official way into the hotel. Over the parking lot, or the road from center of town, which most rides used, but not all. Overall a very nice stay. Cleaning was a bit lite one day (not done after 12.00 o'clock)

Flott hotell som jeg vil anbefalle alle. Her kan både par og familie stortrives. Veldig god mat og service i alle avdelingene på hotellet. Jentene i spa avdeligen er fabelaktige. Massasjen jeg fikk der kan man lete lenge etter og fotpleien av ypperste kvalitet. Hotellet ligger flott til med kun kort gange til stranden. Det er ett spisested som ligger på stranden som heter Przystajn må prøves.(Fiskemat) Sengen og ikke minst sengetøyet( produsert i Tyskland) som er lik den som er på 7 stjerners hotellet i Dubaj. P.S har vært på det hotellet. Må ikke glemme basenget med saunaer og jacuzzi båte ute og inne. Hagen bak hotellet må bare nytes med noe godt å drikke som du får kjøpt fra serveringsvognen. Poor customer service. Won’t be coming back. The hotel has great location and nice sea views. The room was equipped with coffee machine (for capsules/pods), kettle, iron, and hair dryer. There’s no luggage racks, probably because the rooms are pretty small. Upon entrance through the revolving door you face 2 glass panes. One in front of you and the other one to the left. The one on the left is the door, it would be nice if it carried a sign like „entrance/welcome” to avoid the confusion as both panes look exactly the same. It’s a fairly new hotel so the equipment, style, and amenities are all very nice. However, the staff in this hotel is very arrogant, standoffish, and not welcoming. Almost no one smiles at this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 2.40pm and asked if there was a chance of checking in early, 20 minutes before the official 3pm check in time, and was told right away that no, the rules in the hotel are that you can check in at 3. I was shocked! Usually, you would hear something more polite than a reference to the official rules posted online. In most instances you expect to hear something along the line that they are happy to check if my room is available but can’t make any promises and invite me to wait in the lobby area or recommend a coffee or a meal at hotel’s restaurant. It seems like almost all members of staff hate their jobs, no one smiles or makes eye contact. Kudos to lady in restaurant with black high ponytail for her outstanding customer service.

Good International Quality Hotel for Tourism and Business class visitors.Enjoyed the food and drinks for breakfast and dinner, nice view of the port.

The breakfast had a larger selection last year and was the reason why we chose to stay at the hotel this time. Unfortunately the selection is smaller now and not at all worth the high cost we had to pay This plus high cost for parking makes it not worth a stay for our family

Good clean place by the sea. Convenient location. Staff friendly and professional. Food and drinks need improvement but we’re passable. Only negative- parking was a hassle (had to park off-site in a sketchy lot) and cost 50 zl per night. If they have limited parking on site (underground parking), they should let customers choose the parking venue while they are making the reservations. I made reservations well in advance and then they tell me their hotel parking is full. Not good business!

I had a room with a large window overlooking the bay, it was absolutely beautiful. The room was average, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, the food was good at the restaurant. Very good place to stay

Bra rum, fin utsikt, fräscht! Personalen som hjälpte till med incheckning kunde varit mer serviceminded och informativ om vad som gällde på hotellet, gällande tider i restauranger etc.

I booked a room with a king or queen bed but actually got twin, separated single beds with the result that on two nights, I became wedged between the two beds. The shower head was frozen in one position - too low for a person of average height, exacerbated by the fact that it was a shower within a bathtub, so I could not have a decent shower. The service was the worst I have experienced in my last 100 hotels during the past ten years, I always book 4 star in order to get the level of service and comfort expected of a quality hotel, but that failed to materialise at the Marriott Courtyard Gdynia. In the past JW Marriott hotels have been good, but the Gdynia Courtyard experience has taught me to be very wary in the future and to avoid Marriott Courtyard.

Kæmpe ros til Sebastian som var meget flink ,hjælpsom rar person og kæmpe ros til bartender ed briller som var den 23 og 25 december om aftenen. Begge mænd meget flinke og i må være stolte af dem.

Hotellet er «nytt» og fint, beliggenheten er flott. Men personalet virket alle som de begynte forrige uke, uten opplæring. Uansett hva en spurte om så så de ut som spørsmålsteg, sendte deg videre til en kollega som prøvde å gjemme seg, siden vedlommende heller ikke hadde peiling. Dette var helt påfallende, og gjaldt uansett om det var i resepsjonen, restauranten, baren eller konferanse senteret. Veldig synd, da hotellet og beliggenheten er fin

Incredibly slow check-in. Frustratingly slow. Then they kept calling me during the day when I was having a business meeting that I should have left already. by 12. I tried to say I paid for 2 nights but the angry lady just shouted me and told they will throw my belongings out from the room because they are fully booked. When they realized I actually did book 2 nights, they offered me a free breakfast box next morning because I was checking out early. The box came with some fruits, yogurt, dry bread with nothing on it and no coffee at all. They even asked If I want to have coffee or tea. Asked for coffee, did not get it. The room was clean, if I need to find something positive.

Everything was ok, but I would not suggest to take the halfboard because the menu of the dinner was very poor and without any buffet.
