The hotel was visited at the very start of the season (early May) and it would therefore be expected to be fresh and ready. It was not. It is tired, poorly maintained and

I’m sure it’s the beginning of the season so would hope it get better. The WiFi kept dropping out which was annoying the heating wasn’t very good, the restaurant was shut one night so we ate out. I think I was probably only one of a couple guests staying.

Great location, super comfortable bed, excellent pool and convenient for walks, countryside and town, restaurants and bars.

Staff is adequate but not great. Hotel is clean but needs a refresh. Great little old money walkable town with many great restaurants and bars. Incredible old hotel and many residences that are spectacular old homes. Unbelievable patisserie and unbelievable chocolatier in this town too.
