Was nice quiet and very nice pool and rooms and breakfast and gym

Rooms and parking lot was clean . Employee at the front desk was real nice and polite

Good place. Rooms are always clean,staff is very friendly & professional. Every room that I’ve stayed in at the lonestar has a refrigerator & microwave. I’m a trucker. Although they don’t have a large enough parking lot at the hotel to accommodate a large tractor trailer rig. They have an agreement with the truckstop next door to semi trucks there.

Decent place, very friendly desk person, the whole place could use some updating, especially the ice machines.

It wasn't bad. Just aged. The overall cleanliness was average at best. The showers were hot, the pressure was good. The pool was nice. The staff was polite and helpful.

The room that we first came into was dirty. The couch had stains all over it and had underwear in the cushions. The room was humid and wet. The fixtures, like lamps and such, were covered in stains. The smoke detector was missing. After telling the staff, they moved us to a different room and let us check the room before switching, we went through three different rooms to find one that more than half the lights worked. The second room was better, but not great. The hot water never worked and the AC failed the morning before we left (fortunately it waited until our last day). The blankets are like thin curtain material, but actually seemed to work. They did have tears and burn spots on them. The towels were worn out, but worked ok and no problems getting more when needed. The pool was clean and the area around the pool was maintained well. The breakfast area was clean, but the options weren’t that great. They did have Texas shaped waffle machines and toast. They did serve hot scrambled eggs and sausage links, but they appeared to be the microwaveable kind. The staff was helpful and friendly. My advice, if you have to get this hotel, do not get the suite and only get something on the second floor, because of the bugs. I did pay for the suite but ended up with just a two queen bed room, because the suite was just in really bad shape and I already paid for the hotel on Expedia.

We won’t ever stay there again or recommend to anyone. Rooms were ok. Still need more work. Breakfast was not good either. Wasn’t expecting a full hot but more than toast would have been nice. Staff was friendly. Room lamps and dresser had a layer of dust and room chair fabric was peeling. Shower head was old and discolored.

Floor of unit was filthy. Walked from bathroom across the room to put on my socks and the bottom of my feet were black. First tried to put us in a room that smelled heavily of smoke. Staff were mowing grass and using the weed blower outside our room around 8 am in an effort to get us to wake up and leave. Would not stay here again.

Room had a musty smell. Ac didn't fit properly had space called office. Maintenance man used insolated tape. Bathtub had rust spots in it.

We had to leave our home due to toxic mold. We have 7 family members including 4 children. We told them why we were there. They gave us 2 connecting rooms. When you open the connecting doors there was a horrible mold infestation bleeding thru the doors. And the rooms smelled musty. They admitted they were aware of the issue and had a dehumidifier in the room. We requested to be moved to a different building which did smell and appear cleaner. But with less amenities and they refused to compensate for that. Their food handling license was expired by months and there was trash overflowing beside the breakfast serving area. Also, heads up, they charge a $50 deposit per room. I have photos but for some reason its not allowing me to add them. If anyone wants to help me with that Im happy to share. Im clicking add photo but nothing happens.

The room was filthy

The hotel was modest but roomy. It had a kitchenette which was what we needed to escape the aftermath of hurricane Beryl that hit Houston a little more than an hour drive away. The walls appear to need fresh paint but overall our stay was good. Reservation staff was friendly and helpful. My room did not have a smart tv. The kitchen had no utensils at all but appliances worked well.

A great budget inn. The bed wasn't as soft as I would have liked, and the toppings were a little light for my preference. a comforter/duvet would have been nice.

Rooms were big..we got the double with a pull out couch for 3 adults..

Lights on entry to room did not work; no soap in the shower dispenser; minor issues. Other than that it was OK.

No tv no wi fi bathroom toilet did not work no handcap parking. BAD BAD BAD

Room & everything in it was great. Only issue was all the noise starting at 6am with the company workers that are up early. (It was a last minute booking for us so we understand) I will just ask for a room away from that next time. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you!

Only gave 4 stars, could have been 5. But the room I was in 122 had issues both nights with severe dampness on the floor. About slipped and fell, but caught myself on the bed. Definitely a fall hazard that needs attention before someone does get hurt. But overall it was a nice room and enjoyed the stay

Room was spacious staff very nice and helpful

The staff was very polite and professional in there work. Once they made sure that you didn't need anything, I never saw them again until the next morning. Check-in was fast and easy with pre-booking with Expedia.

Everything was great except there was not a security door latch and I was surprised while getting dressed that housekeeping entered my room at 9 am and caught me with my undies on I thought check out was at 11 am other than that all was good

We had a quick and easy check in. The room was well air conditioned when we entered and smelled fresh. We had a problem with getting the tv working properly and went down to the reception desk and the lady on duty ...I wish I had asked her name. But she went above and beyond to get it working. And succeeded!

It was very good customer service and they accomated me & my family and service puppy. Very clean and spacious and great TV viewing. We traveled here due to hurricane Beryl and it was a good decision, since we were out of electricity for 3 days back in Pasadena TX. Thank you Akayla for being a great person and keep up the amazing attitude and customer appreciation! ❤️

Working near the port of Victoria and this place was only a 5 minute drive to work..it was the only hotel that had 2 beds a couch for myself and 2 co-workers..I was a lil worried my welding truck would be vulnerable to thieves but my truck was among many other work trucks that were far more vulnerable and we all looked out for each other..I would recommend this for anyone working in the area

the property beds are like bricks. demanded a scan of my driver's license, you have to get to the property by one direction only. lots of people walking through the property. Do not recommend for any one will not stay there again

My friend & I stayed 2 nights for my kids bridal shower. First night there we end up with a big lizard on the wall. Talk about crazy freaking out. Called the front desk and quickly got us moved to a different room. Breakfast was good, i do recommend taking an extra blanket or two, the rooms do get a little chilly throughout the night.

We've stayed here several times, the room this time however the bed was very hard. Also the breakfast sausage made us sick. Other than that it's a good hotel, very clean and staff is very friendly. Previous stays we had no issues.

This property is a diamond in the Rough!! We travel every weekend for work and tay in about 40 hotels a year. We got the kimg room with kitenette (no baking, cooking, or utensils so bring your own or got buy paper and plastic) and the queen sofa sleeper was a little dated ans springy so keep that in mind) bed was comfy, but no blanket, just sheets and a thin topper (but you can aske the fronylt desk for one ans make sure to ask gor sherts for the sleeper sofa. Water pressure was decent. Everything was clean and no complaints of bugs or a run down room :) BREAKFAST was decent waffles, eggs, sausage stix, and biscuts, freah bananas and apples, cereal....not too bad (mcdonalds is right beside the property though so just plan accordingly) Next event we do here we will definitely be staying at the Lone Star 🌟

I was very well pleased with the cleanliness and the general good condition of this hotel. The price was excellent. Everything was clean in the free breakfast in the morning very good as well. When I’m back in this area, I will stay at this location again.

Love the breakfast

I liked the room so much I would highly recommend this hotel for people aren't familiar with Victoria the room was out together well no cuts in the house that I had in my room it was very clean easy access to my room the hot breakfast was amazingly good and the breakfast starts at a very good time for workers who come out and wants coffee it's there right before they leave definitely worth my money
