The location is perfect hotel is small and clean. Close to many restaurants and stores all walking distance also to 3 plaza. The staff members Julia an Bruno excellent good customer service. Very clean comfort beds. They just need to update the carpet on stairway and in the rooms. They also arrange our tours with private driver they were excellent. The rate of the tours reasonable since there was 4 of us. If you have chance take cooking class at "Compadre". Overall hotel was great 👍 they also have small elevator. I highly recommend the hotel.

Great location. Not a full service hotel (which I did not realize when booking). No lobby, tiny elevator. Room quite small, but reasonably well-appointed. Coffee maker did not work. Very, very nice front desk staff. Nice breakfast room, outdoor seating available.

Chambre très propre , ménage et linges changés tous les jours . Petit déjeuner très convenable . Personnel très accueillant. Néanmoins l’espace petit déjeuner un peu réduit, odeur d’égouts à l’accueil vraiment pas agréable et surtout l’ascenseur hyper bruyant , comme un bruit de moto qui n’arrive pas à démarrer, cela est très embêtant car on l’entend dans la chambre , alors lorsque les gens rentrent tard dans la nuit c’est un peu pénible.. mériterait un peu plus d’entretien technique à ce niveau là ..

Love the boutique hotel and super convenient walking to food, shops, and attractions. The only downside was the advertised photos are out of date. There isn’t a restaurant or seating area beside the ones around the front desk.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful, very friendly. But the property itself is old, tired, the walls are paper thin, and frankly the place is quite a bit worse for wear. And we stayed in one of the nicest rooms! Bottom line: this is not a four star hotel, far from it. It’s a three star at best. And potential customers should be informed of that.

This is a really nice reasonably priced hotel located in an area surrounded by shopping, sights, and dining. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The breakfast on offer is very nice and, at 10 euros, very competitive with the local establishments. The elevator is very small because, like many old European buildings, it is installed in the stairwell and surrounded by the original stairs. We had one of the Historic Rooms on the top floor; it was spacious and well furnished. The only downside is that there seems to be a problem regulating the water temperature in the shower. It would fluctuate between very hot and very cold. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the staff was aware of it. Our friend on the second floor did not have this issue. We enjoyed our stay, in any event.

This hotel advertises as a “boutique” but it feels run down and nothing special. When we arrived, we were assaulted by the smell of Frebreeze cleaning product. There was a faint hint of garbage smell. The front desk felt run down and there’s no lobby seating, just a generic dining room for breakfast. When we arrived in our room it was nice, it was clean, but smelled it smelled like dirty socks. It was very strong and very unpleasant. We asked for a new room and I fortunately we were downgraded. The only reason I booked the room is that it had windows overlooking the street. Instead of going thru the hassle of getting refunded the difference for the room, I opted for breakfasts for free. Breakfast was decent. Coffee mediocre. The main desk person was very nice and helpful. The night guy was ok. Not rude but not high level hospitality either. Overall, the hotel felt like a 2 star hotel and not worth the $270 a night I paid. But it’s in a great location, in the heart of the tourist area.

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Lisbon, close to two metro stations and almost next door to the Santa Justa Lift. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good value for money, excellent omlettes, cooked to order. The hotel was clean, but it could do with a bit of upgrading in places (the stair carpet was worn in places) Overall though a fabulous place to stay and would definitely return if i was travelling back to Lisbon. :)

The room was very clean. The location was right in the city center, close to many shops and restaurants. We were upgraded upon arrival and the room (apartment) was very spacious. Breakfast each morning was very good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Lisbon.

A equipe é muito cuidadosa conosco aempre perguntanfo sw precisa de algo. Eu gostei do café da manhã, servindo: melão, uva, abacaxi, suco de laranja, pão com queijo e presunto e outros salgados. Água filtrada é um item gratuito do hotel. Aquecedor doquarto onde me hospedei funcionou muito bem, limpeza excelente. A localização é perfeita: há 3 minutos do metrô-Baixa do Chiado.

Very central, helpful staff, decent breakfast and clean room. Only downside was a smell of damp in room and inside curtain had damp spots on them. Old building and bathroom with no window doesn’t help. We had the doors open all time we were in room to help with smell.

Few suspicious stains on the carpet in our room. Mould in the bathroom which could do with some treatment. A noisy bar somewhere local at the weekend but seemed to stop by midnight. Conveniently located with helpful staff.

Wonderful, helpful staff. The room was renovated with good taste and impeccable cleaning provided daily (already done by the time we returned from breakfast). Perfect location. Will definitely return next time visiting Lisbon.

For the price this hotel costs, you’d expect it to be a better experience. I’m used to tight rooms when I travel… but these rooms are one on top of another. I could hear everything in every other room. Doors slamming, sex, showering. The floors were not well kept and overall was just an unpleasant experience. The only saving grace was that there were two amazing workers that checked me in. They were very sweet and gave me recommendations.

Very friendly staff who went out and bought gluten free bread so I could eat the breakfast. Very clean. Postage stamp sized room. We both tripped on the ripped carpet on the stairs and took the lift after that, but otherwise great.

Bel hôtel très bien situé près du métro Rossio et à 7-10 minutes à pieds de Praca do Comercio. Nous avions une chambre triple nommée historique au dernier étage avec un petit balcon. Chambre très propre avec des poutres au plafond. Seul inconvénient la 3e personne doit se pencher énormément pour accéder à son lit en raison du toit en pente.

The hotel has a great location, close to the historic center and to many touristic attractions. It is also close to public transportation. However, the service was not very good. The afternoon/early evening front desk person was rude, short and snappy. I realize that she is the only one there taking care of so many things and maybe she needs assistance so that she would greet clients, and make them feel welcome. We avoided asking her anything as we knew her answer would be short and rude. The hotel looks more like a hostel. The stairs had a torn carpet and the elevator has seen better days. The room was acceptable.

I stayed at this Hotel for a week. Rates are reasonable for the location, It's close to many attractions. The front desk staff were amazing, very helpful and professional. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is delicious with different options. As a solo female traveler I felt safe in the surrounding areas.

Good location at a walk distance to most of sightseeing in Lisbon, and a lot of restaurants around the hotel. The hotel was surprisingly quiet although near the shopping area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. train drivers were on strike when we were in Lisbon. The staff helped us with other options for our travel tours in Portugal.

Staff were courteous, and great. The only issue we had was that our room was nor prepared at 15:00 and the staff told us that it was. When i walked into the room it was not ready (bedsheets were undone, bins were full, it was not clean). however when i informed the staff, they immediately apologized and gave us a different room which was ready and clean. The only thing i would say is that the rooms a bit small and there is no cupboard in the room just a very small metal rack for hanging coats and jackets. Otherwise, the room was sufficient, clean, and the location of the hotel is perfect for a short visit. All of the best areas and key transport links are within 3 mins (Rossio metro station if you want to visit Sintra) to 15 mins (Cais do sodre metro station if you want to go to cascias or belem) walk. The hotel is next to Rossio metro, which also means that Sao George, Baro Alto, Chaido and all major places worth visiting are 10-15 mins walk. Would highly recommend for a short break.

Very convenient centrally located hotel only a few metres from the Elevador de Santa Justa. State on front desk and breakfast incredibly helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a Lisbon stay. Ground floor and facade currently being renovated but no problem and hopefully be completed soon. Then WOW!

The location was great, very central to a lot of main attractions and bus, tram and metro options. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room had an AC malfunction, but the staff was very helpful and got that fixed the next day. Service from the staff was very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Diana at the front desk, who was fantastic and amazing! She was super helpful and friendly. We had some delayed luggage issues and she went that extra mile to help us work through it. Amazing!

We stayed here in late June 2024. It is in an Amazing location and walking distance to many places. Breakfast buffet for 10 euros was worth it. It is less than a half a mile walk to Praca de Comercio and the waterfront, closer than that to Rossio square, and conveniently located to many other restaurants and places.

Great central location, easy to identify as it’s right by Santa Justa lift. Excellent friendly service from check-in, to breakfast to the cleaners. Comfortable room with lots of space, very nicely decorated everywhere. Thank you for having us!

This is a really lovely hotel with a lot of local charm. It is right by the Lisbon lift and in the heart of the city center. Sightseeing points are within walking distance, and shopping and restaurants are nearby. The staff is very nice and welcoming, and breakfast is really good with a variety of choices. The coffee machine makes specialty coffees, which are included with breakfast. The lady at the buffet was the best.

The room was very clean. The location was right in the city center, close to many shops and restaurants. We were upgraded upon arrival and the room (apartment) was very spacious. Breakfast each morning was very good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Lisbon.

Decent enough hotel right in the centre of Lisbon. Rooms at the rear of the property face onto quite a grim courtyard - as such, I didn’t spend anytime on the balcony. The hotel does have character but not very luxurious. Breakfast was decent though with limited options.

Stadthotel mir sehr guter Innenstadtlage. Wir hatten ein geräumiges gemütliches Zimmer unter dem Dach, nur ein höherer Wasserdruck in der Dusche wäre wünschenswert. Die Ausstattung ist modern, dass Frühstücksbüffet war gut und ausreichend reichhaltig.

Amazing staff! We arrived to the hotel at a late hour, after a long flight, but the evening staff member was very friendly, helpful. Made us feel welcome right away! We had a superior room, and had ample space. It was clean, comfortable, AC worked perfectly. View from the room, of the street below, was nice. Elevator was teeny tiny, but we both did fit with our carry on luggage and bags! Great location as well, Highly recommend!!

Had a horrible experience at this property and warn you that it is not worth the stay or what theu charge. The rooms are dirty, the carpet are stained and smell bad. The place seems run down. The staff is very unfriendly and forget about any customer service. For example after a long day of travel we got to the property only to find it closed and doors locked. We were left outside in the hot summer sun heat waiting a long time knocking on the front doors without anyone responding. After what felt like forever and after covered in sweat a woman should up and was like whatever and didn't seem concerned or even apologetic. Stay away!
